Data from clinical studies are needed for psychiatrists to make quick and scientific decisions based on the best available evidence in clinical settings. Various methods of clinical studies are useful for clinicians to have reliable answers to unmet clinical needs. Although randomized controlled trials may provide high-quality information about major issues, well-designed, naturalistic and observational studies often give us unbiased explanation for real-world phenomena. Adequate selection of clinical variables and appropriate number of participants are key factors of well-designed clinical studies. Statistical methods can add an extra dimension to initial design of clinical studies. Given ethical issues in clinical studies on psychiatric disorders, special regards should be paid to participants' ability to provide informed consents. New strategies of clinical studies need to be developed to meet clinical needs and protect the rights and welfare of study participants.
This study was a descriptive study to investigate emotional labor, clinical practice stress and satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing college students. The data were collected using an self-reporting questionnaire from June 1 to July 12, 2015. Collected data were analysed on SPSS Win 20.0. The study results were summarized as follows : The students' emotional labor was $3.13{\pm}0.54$ in average on a scale of 5. The clinical practice stress was $3.65{\pm}0.47$ in average, and students' satisfaction of clinical practice was $3.41{\pm}0.43$. The emotional labor has positive correlation significantly with clinical practice stress(r=0.353, p<.001), and negative correlation with satisfaction of clinical practice (r=-0.170, p<.007). In stepwise multiple regression to put control variables, emotional labor and clinical practice stress were no significant influence toward satisfaction of clinical practice. According the result, to improve the satisfaction of clinical practices emotional labor should be released. Moreover it is necessary to attention to the health care of nursing students and it is needed to boost up the students satisfaction with major, more friendly relations should be built with co-trainees.

The students were satisfied with the term of clinical practice (70.4%) and the first factor influencing them in clinical practice was sincerity (45.1%), and the second was basic knowledge (19.8%). In the contents of clinical practice, 53.2% were satisfied but 43.3% of them showed negative responses because their practice was limited and they were simply assistants. 74.1% were satisfied after experiencing clinical practice and the first factor was improvement of understanding and interest in their major (65.9%) and the second was the gain of confidence (20.1%). Among anxieties in the clinical practice, a shortage of self-confidence (47.7%) was the highest. 81.3% of them wanted to maintain medical technologist's life continuously. It appeared that the more satisfied with their major, the more satisfied with the clinical practice (p<0.05). As a result, the students were satisfied with the clinical practice and fresh experience generally. But they were relatively unsatisfied with the practicality, and connection with the lecture. As a part of efforts to formulate an effective system for clinical practice, it is necessary to establish concrete goals and detail check lists to guide these students among professors, trainers and students.
Purpose : This study is performed to investigate the status and recognition of the education for physical therapy clinical practice. Method : This study used a descriptively designed survey in which 328 clinical instructor, 55 professors and 404 college trainee students in Korea are participated. The research instruments developed by Kim(2004) and Park(1997) are used. The collected data were analyzed by SPSS/PC+12.0. Results : 1. Trainees are in favor of practicing in the university hospital, but more needed to practice in various clinical institutions. 2. Clinical practice period is 400-600 hours. The time of clinical practice has been shifted to the summer vacation, so it is needed to be scattered along semester evenly. 3. The categories of diseases should be determined, by which trainees to experience the assessment and treatment through clinical practice. 4. For the case of accident during clinical practicing, an insurance contract is required for trainees. 5. Through school and clinical institutions, the common and standardized clinical practice manuals or instructions are needed. Conclusion : Clinical institutions and college for student training to improve efficiency are forced to study systematically.
Purpose: This study was aimed to develop frequently-used clinical scenarios and scoring rubrics to assess core basic nursing skills in adult health nursing clinical practice for clinical evaluation based on program learning outcomes (PO). Methods: This study was a methodological research combining focus group interviews and questionnaires to select and construct scenarios. Data were collected from clinical practitioners, adult health nursing professors, and new nurses from November, 2013 to April, 2014. The developed scenarios and rubrics were applied to nursing students by way of showing an example. Results: The 12 frequently-used clinical scenarios were developed. The proportion of the evaluation rubrics were 30% for clinical instructors where as 70% for college instructors. In order for students to achieve the important learning outcomes from the courses for clinical practice, four program outcomes (POs) were selected as well as a rubric for each POs was developed. Students who had situation-based clinical practices showed higher levels of satisfaction on mastery of core basic nursing skills and communication skills. Conclusion: This findings of the study suggested the strategies for complementing pitfalls in clinical setting and achieving PO during students' clinical practicum.
