This study examined satisfaction with clinical training according to school system and school-related characteristics and analyzed the effect of satisfaction by clinical training task on the overall satisfaction with clinical training. Participants were convenience sampled from students of K University in Gangwon-do (n=279) and K University in Gyeonggi-do (n=154) who have undergone clinical training. The overall satisfaction with clinical training in dental hygiene students differed according to the school system, school-related characteristics, satisfaction by clinical training topic, and satisfaction by clinical training task. Satisfaction by clinical training task had an effect on overall satisfaction with clinical training. Thus, substantial effort, such as ensuring appropriate contents and methods of training.

Objectives: This study aimed to provide the high-quality clinical practice environment education to students by researching the social support, major satisfaction, and interpersonal ability of dental hygiene students, analyzing factors having influence on the clinical practice satisfaction, and then increasing the satisfaction with clinical practice. Methods: 312 students who have completed clinical practice among dental hygiene major of three colleges in Gyeonggi province were collected by convenience sampling from April 18th to April 27th 2016. Using SPSS 20.0, descriptive analysis, t-test, ANOVA, correlation analysis, and regression analysis were conducted. Results: The clinical practice satisfaction was correlated with interpersonal ability(r=0.383, p<.001), social support(r=0.239, p<0.01), subjective health condition(r=0.226, p<0.01), and major satisfaction(r=0.287, p<0.01). When interpersonal ability and social support were high, subjective health condition was good, and major satisfaction was high, the clinical practice satisfaction was also high. Conclusions: Based on the results, it would be necessary to develop operational reinforcing social support and interpersonal ability of dental hygiene students, and also to make efforts to increase the clinical practice satisfaction of dental hygiene students by establishing measures to increase their major satisfaction.

The purpose of this study was to explain the relationship between empowerment and satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing students. The instrument of this study was a structured questionnaire included empowerment and satisfaction of clinical practice. The data was collected from september 28, 1999 to March 31, 2000 and analyzed by Cronbach alpha, descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson's correlation coefficient and simple regression by using SPSS Win program. The result of research were as follows: 1. There was significant difference according to the general characteristic factor. The total empowerment was predicted by meaning of nursing, university and college, relationship of peer, clearance of study purpose. Satisfaction of clinical practice was predicted by university and college, clearance of study purpose. 2. There was a significant correlation between empowerment and satisfaction of clinical practice(r=0.442, p=0.000). 3. Empowerment was the highest factor predicting satisfaction of clinical practice. A total of 19.5% of the variance was explained in the total satisfaction of clinical practice. It was found that the higher the degree of perceived empowerment, the higher the degree of satisfaction of clinical practice. Therefore, nursing faculty should plan interventions to inspire satisfaction level of clinical practice by empowerment.

This study examined the satisfaction of clinical laboratory science students practiced in clinical practice. In addition, the satisfaction of clinical practice and the satisfaction of the clinical practicum affecting the major satisfaction were investigated. From February 20, 2019 to March 10, 2019, a questionnaire survey was conducted on clinical laboratory science students who performed clinical practice in eight weeks of 2018. A total of 344 people were selected for the final analysis data. The questionnaire was comprised of 46 items, which consisted of three items of the general characteristics and 43 items of the clinical practice satisfaction. The satisfaction level of the clinical practice evaluation part was lowest in average 3.88 points. Male students were more satisfied with clinical practice than female students. The satisfaction level was higher in the group with more than the average degree of satisfaction than the group with less than the average. The factors that affect the satisfaction of clinical practice and the degree of satisfaction with majors are the satisfaction with the clinical practice time and satisfaction with interpersonal relationships.

Purpose. This study was to identify the relationship between self-directed learning and nursing student's satisfaction of clinical practice. Methods. This study was designed to measure the level of satisfaction according to the contents, guidance, environment, time, and the evaluation of clinical practice. Two hundred thirty-one nursing student from baccalaureate program in H-gun was sampled. A scale consisting of 75 questions, developed by the researcher, was used to gather data from September 14 through 27, 2012. The data was analyzed by descriptive statistics, paired t-test, pearson correlation, and multiple linear regression using the SPSS WIN 18.0 program. Results. The results were summarized : Self-directed learning didn't show a significant different by grade(t=0.83, p=.934). Nursing student's satisfaction of clinical practice didn't show a significant different by grade(t=0.26, p=.798). The relationship between self-directed learning correlated with the degree of nursing student's satisfaction in clinical practice(r=.44, p<.001). The factors of self-directed learning described nursing student's satisfaction of clinical practice as $R^2$=.215(F=9.858, p<.001). Conclusions. It was found that a higher degree of satisfaction in clinical practice depends on a higher degree of self-directed learning. Therefore, nursing faculty should plan intervention to improve satisfaction level of clinical practice by fostering self-directed learning.

Purpose: This study was conducted to examine the correlations among nursing professionalism, clinical practice satisfaction of nursing students. Method: The subjects were 184 nursing students recruited from one college located in D city. Data were collected using structured questionnaire, and analyzed with the PASW 21.0 program. Results: The results indicate that nursing students have levels of nursing professionalism, and clinical practice satisfaction that are higher than the median. Nursing professionalism showed differences according to plans for academic performance, major satisfaction, personality, and personal relations. Nursing professionalism was significantly correlated with clinical practice satisfaction, major satisfaction. Conclusion: Clinical practice satisfaction, and academic performance were the most influential factor predicting greater nursing professionalism. Thus, these factors should be considered when developing a program for enhancing nursing professionalism.

The study was intended to investigate the degree of satisfaction and experiences of maternity nursing practice and to examine the relationships between satisfaction and experiences. Data were collected from a college located in Inchon from April 2, 2001 to October 30, 2001. A general characteristics questionnaires, questionnaire for clinical practice satisfaction and maternity nursing clinical checklist were used to measure the satisfaction and experiences of maternity nursing practice. The subject were supposed to record their clinical experience in maternity clinical practice checklist. 153 questionnaires for satisfaction of clinical practice and 178 maternity nursing clinical practice checklists used for analysis. The data were analyzed by SPSS-PC+ program. The results of this study were as follows ; 1) The mean score of satisfaction of clinical practice was 3.34(a perfect score 5) and among the 4 categorial components from the questionnaire of satisfaction the score of 'clinical practice teaching' was high(3.85) and 'clinical practice environment(2.91)' and 'clinical practice contents(2.90)' was relatively low. 2) There was significant value between place of clinical practice and clinical practice satisfaction among 7 clinical practice hospital and the most high score of clinical practice satisfaction is 3.70 and the low score is 2.91(F=7.706, p<.001). The score of delivery room was significantly higher than the OBGY room and there was significant value among the place of clinical practice(DR : F= 6.441, p<.001, OBGY room : F=7.908, p<.001). 3) In delivery room, the frequency of observation are 2.61 day, the frequency of practice are 1.33 day and in OBGY room the frequency of observation are 1.73 day, the frequency of practice are 1.31 day for 2 week of maternity clinical practice and the most frequent practice of maternity nursing care was checking vital sign. 4) There were significant relationships between the ranking score of clinical satisfaction and clinical experiences in maternity nursing practice. Based on the results, it is suggested that the satisfaction of clinical practice was related to environment of clinical practice and it is necessary to improve environment of clinical practice and make a strategies to enhance the quality of maternity clinical experience.

This study was a descriptive study to investigate emotional labor, clinical practice stress and satisfaction of clinical practice in nursing college students. The data were collected using an self-reporting questionnaire from June 1 to July 12, 2015. Collected data were analysed on SPSS Win 20.0. The study results were summarized as follows : The students' emotional labor was $3.13{\pm}0.54$ in average on a scale of 5. The clinical practice stress was $3.65{\pm}0.47$ in average, and students' satisfaction of clinical practice was $3.41{\pm}0.43$. The emotional labor has positive correlation significantly with clinical practice stress(r=0.353, p<.001), and negative correlation with satisfaction of clinical practice (r=-0.170, p<.007). In stepwise multiple regression to put control variables, emotional labor and clinical practice stress were no significant influence toward satisfaction of clinical practice. According the result, to improve the satisfaction of clinical practices emotional labor should be released. Moreover it is necessary to attention to the health care of nursing students and it is needed to boost up the students satisfaction with major, more friendly relations should be built with co-trainees.

The purpose of this study was to examine the professional self-concept of dental hygiene students, their satisfaction level with clinical practice and the correlation of the two factors. The subjects in this study were 129 dental hygiene seniors at a college located in the city of J. The selected students had been engaged in a 16-week clinical practice. The findings of the study were as follows: 1. The dental hygiene students investigated got a mean of 3.34 out of possible five points on professional self-concept. As for the subfactors of professional self-concept, they got 3.75, 3.38 and 2.87 respectively on communication, professional work handling and satisfaction level. 2. They got a mean of 3.29 out of possible five points on satisfaction level with clinical practice. As to the subfactors of the satisfaction level, they gave 3.60, 3.50, 3.46, 3.04 and 2.83 to environments for practice, the content of practice, supervision, the length of practice and evaluation respectively. 3. In regard to the relationship of general characteristics to professional self-concept, satisfaction level with the major and social perception of dental hygienist made significant differences to professional self-concept. 4. As for connections between the general characteristics and satisfaction level with clinical practice, satisfaction with clinical practice was significantly different according to satisfaction with the major, satisfaction with the amount of practice and satisfaction with social perception of dental hygienist. 5. There was a significantly positive correlation between professional self-concept and satisfaction level with clinical practice(r=.383, p=.001). In conclusion, how much dental hygienists who are trained to be a dental hygienist are gratified with clinical practice is one of integral factors to affect their development of professional self-concept. Therefore prolonged research efforts should be directed into determining in which way clinical practice should be implemented to develop the professional self-concept of would-be dental hygienists and how to raise their satisfaction with clinical practice.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the factors and the degree of nursing college student's clinical practice satisfaction. The sample consisted of 488 nursing students who had been in the clinical practice experience from 6 junior nursing colleges in Korea. Data for this study was collected from 20 May to 20 June, 2000. Data were analysed by SPSS/PC using frequency, percentage, mean, standard deviation, T-test, one-way ANOVA, and regression. The results of this study are as follows : 1. The highest motive of selecting a nursing science came to be 'having a good prospect for getting a job' (29.3%), major place of the clinical nursing practice was university hospital(46.5%), and the degree of satisfaction about the nursing science was 'relatively satisfied' (43%). 2.The fields that the highest satisfaction of the nursing student's clinical practice were DR(3.25), NR(3.18), ICU(3.11), and OR(3.10). The highest rank of the nursing student's clinical practice satisfaction was 'feels more continuous nursing studying is required after getting a job or pass the RN exam'(4.24). 3. There was significant value between the Grade(2yr, 3yr) and the satisfaction of the clinical practice environment(p<0.001), the clinical practice interpersonal relationship (p<0.001), the clinical practice evaluation (p<0.05), and there was significant value between the satisfaction about the nursing science and the satisfaction of the clinical practice environment(p<0.001), the clinical practice interpersonal relation ship (p<0.05), the satisfation after the clinical practice(p<0.001). 4. There was significant value between 'the opinion of the clinical practice periods' and the satisfaction of the clinical practice place(p<0.05), the clinical practice environment(p<0.001), the clinical practice interpersonal relationship(p<0.001), the satisfation after the clinical practice(p<0.001). 5.The satisfaction of the clinical practice interpersonal relationship influenced on the nursing student's clinical practice satisfaction($R^{2}=.188$). From these results, it is suggested that the higher the satisfaction of the clinical practice interpersonal relationship be like to improve the nursing college student's clinical practice satisfaction.
