스페이서댐퍼 클램프의 선로방향 관절부와 서브스판진동과의 관계 실험적 고찰 (Experimental Study on the Relation Between the Longitudinal Articulation Part of a Spacer Damper and Subspan Oscillations)

  • In order to protect conductors from oscillations or vibrations due to winds, spacer dampers are installed on overhead transmission lines. Generally the spacer damper clamp can move slightly according to oscillation directions, namely in longitudinal, vertical & horizontal directions. This is for reducing fatigue phenomena of the conductor. But the high longitudinal- displacement of the clamp raises a doubt for its necessity. Then this paper carried out oscillation tests by using 4 bundle test lines, to know the relation between longitudinal displacement and oscillation. and suggests design necessity of the longitudinal articulation part for spacer damper clamps.

Generally the spacer damper clamp can move slightly according to oscillation directions, namely conductor direction, vertical & horizontal direction This is for reducing fatigue phenomena of the clamps. Sometimes movement of the clamp to conductor direction raises a doubt for its necessity. Then this paper carried out oscillation tests to know clamp displacement due to the subspan oscillation.

  • This paper deals with the issue of position tracking control of a clamp-cylinder for injection moulding machine with electric-hydrostatic drives. A fixed displacement pump is utilized in combination with AC motor in order to directly control a clamp-cylinder. A clamp-cylinder may be required to operate under a variety of operating conditions. Therefore, robust control performance is important in position tracking control applications. In order to accommodate mismatches between the real plant and the model used for controller design, discrete-time sliding mode control is developed by combining a velocity feedforward loop. From tracking control experiments, it is shown that significant reduction in position tracking error is achieved through the use of sliding mode control.

레일 체결장치 텐션클램프의 거동 (Behavior of Tension Clamp in Rail Fastening System)

  • 콘크리트 궤도 건설의 증가로 인한 레일 체결장치의 중요성이 커지고 있는 상황에서 최근 레일 체결장치의 부속품인 텐션클램프가 절손되는 사고가 발생되었다. 이는 현장상태, 운영기관, 열차운행조건 및 빈도 등 다양한 요인에 의한 것으로 텐션클램프의 거동관련 연구가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 실내실험 및 유한요소해석을 통해 텐션클램프의 역학적 거동을 분석하였다. 실내실험을 수행하여 텐션클램프 체결력에 따른 응력 및 변위를 도출하고 이를 유한요소해석 결과와의 비교를 통해 해석 모델을 검증하였다. 또한 검증된 모델을 적용하여 열차 하중에 따른 텐션클램프의 변형과 응력을 도출하고, 응력 분석을 통해 텐션클램프의 피로에 대한 취약도를 파악하였다.

A Study on the Sliding Distance and the Proper Position of Supporter with respect to the Wedge Angle in the Wedge Type Rail Clamp

  • The rail clamp is the device to prevent the crane slips along rails from the wind blast as well as to locate a container crane in the set position in operating mode. In this study we conduct the research for the sliding distance of rail clamp and the proper position of supporter with respect to the wedge angle in the wedge type rail clamp. The sliding distance to display the clamping force of the jaw pad corresponding to the design wind speed criteria is determined by the total displacement of the rail clamp at the roller center and the wedge angle. And the supporter is the device to prevent the overload which is applied on each part of the rail clamp by wind speed increment, because a clamping force is generated by the sliding of the wedge due to the wind. Accordingly the position of the supporter to prevent the overload is determined by analyzing the forces applied to the rail clamp. In order to analyze the sliding distance and the proper position of supporter with respect to the wedge angle as the wind speed is 40m/s, 5-kinds of wedge angles, such as 2, 4, 6, 8, $10^{\circ}$, were adopted as the design parameter.

  • This paper presents a new precision stage by using the PZT actuator and stepping motor. The stage have the precision positioning mechanism that has been developed for generation displacements with nanometer accuracy and a millimeter dynamic range simulatneously. The stage is composed not of the mechanical elastic hinge but of the clamp, and only one PZT actuator. The displacement of stage is acquired by the control of the two clamp between the PZT actuator. The results of the FEM analysis in the contact part of the clamp and basic properties of the positioning system are also presented. Using the new stage proposed in this paper.

  • Battery post clamp는 자동차부품 중 전원 케이블에 결합되어 축전지의 각각의 단자에 고정을 시켜주는 역할을 한다. 본 연구에서는 Battery Post Clamp의 단품을 가지고 재료비 절감과 차량의 무게 감소에 의하여 최적설계를 수행하였다. 설계 변수들로서 최적화함으로서 응력 및 변형량을 구하였으며, 본 연구를 통한 설계에 의해 개선된 모델을 기존 모델과 비교하였다. 이러한 최적화 값들은 배터리 부품 제조 현장에서 유용하게 적용할 수 있다고 사료된다.

  • The clamping force of a jaw pad is determined by the displacements of main part when two lockers are locked, after the clamping angle of a locker was set up in the wedge type rail clamp for a container crane. In this time, if the resistance of wedge frame generates due to several factors, the clamping angle of a locker to display the initial clamping force will be changed because of the reduction of displacement of extension bar. This resistance is determined by the eccentric distance between the roller and the wedge, and by the gap between the wedge frame and outer frame. In this study we measured the tensile force of both extension bar through the performance test of the prototype rail clamp in order to evaluate the effect of the resistance of wedge frame on the clamping force of the wedge type rail clamp.

  • 본 논문에서는 ANSYS 소프트웨어를 사용하여 회전시료조사대의 진동특성을 공기중 및 수중에서 평가하였다. 수중에서 진동해석에서 사용된 추가질량은 Blevins가 제시한 수식을 이용하여 계산하였다. 본 논문에서 제시한 결과의 타당성을 확인하기 위하여 구해진 결과는 이론적인 식을 사용해 구한 결과와 비교하였다. 유체의 추가질량 효과 때문에 회전시료조사대의 고유진동수는 공기 중에서 보다 수중에서 낮아짐을 확인할 수 있었다. 그리고 회전시료조사대의 고정에 필요한 클램프를 설계하기 위하여 클램프의 압력에 대한 회전시료조사대의 등가응력 및 변위를 계산하였다.

자동 지그 바이스용 조오-웨지의 클램핑 특성 연구 (A Study on Clamping Characteristics of Jaw-wedge for Automatic Jig Vise)

  • A jig vise is a device to clamp workpiece precisely, which is widely used for various machine tools and manufacturing purpose. A new elastic structured jaw-wedge of jig vise is developed, in this paper, so as to satisfy the clamping requirement and the suppression effect of upright movement of workpiece. The advanced design parameters of jaw-wedge are derived step by step considering the stress distribution and the displacement profiles of ANSYS analysis, and it could find the optimum model which shows the uniform displacement profiles and exhibits the non-concentrated stress distribution of jaw neck. As a result, it is ascertained that an jaw-wedge developed in this study is the simple elastic structure which is effective for automatic multiple clamping purpose without the danger of shear crack or bucking of jaw.
