고객만족경영을 통한 도시가스산업의 지속가능한 성장방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Sustainable Growth Strategy of the City Gas Industry through Customer Satisfaction Management)

  • 가스산업의 비약적인 발전과 고객만족경영의 중요성에도 불구하고, 도시가스 산업은 그동안 독점적 시장환경 하에서 공급자 중심의 경영이 이루어져 왔다. 그러나 서비스 산업의 발달과 경쟁의 가속화로 고객의 요구수준이 다양해지고 높아졌으며, 정부의 가스산업 구조개편 추진 등 경쟁체제 방향과 타 에너지간 경쟁체제 돌입이 예상되는 상황에서 고객만족경영은 기업의 단 중장기적인 성장기반을 구축하는 최고의 경영방식이라 할 수 있다. 따라서 대내 외 환경변화와 고객요구품질로부터 제도적 개선측면, 기술적 개선측면 및 서비스 개선측면 3개 분야의 고객만족경영 개선방향을 도출하였으며, 고객만족경영 현황파악 및 비교분석 결과를 바탕으로 도시가스 소비자의 권익보호와 도시가스사업자간, 그리고 다원화되는 에너지 사업자간 경쟁환경에서 도시가스산업의 지속가능한 성장방안을 5가지 측면에서 제시하였다.

  • In order to respond dynamic changes in the global distribution system, the City of Pyeongtaek hope to expand port facilities and its hinterlands. In specific, it plans to designate these areas as free economic zones(FEZ), synthesizing the whole procedures from the development proposals to the operation and management. This paper examines the proposed urban development strategies focused on Pyeongtaek port which still reveals critical weakness as a gateway port backed up by the Seoul Metropolitan Areas. In order to enhance the global competitiveness of Pyeongtaek port, theoretically it depends on Geo Coyle's ACTIFELD methods. In addition to the traditional quantitative data, Coyle's ACTIFELD methods emphasize qualitative approaches, all of which would facilitate structural and systemic analyses of complex social phenomena. Applying ACTIFELD methods, this paper proposes that the City of Pyeongtaek should focus on three alternatives. That is, Pyeongtaek's policy priority should be given to ts he port city based on the key concepts of Supply Chain Management(SCM), Co-opetition supporting city, and waterfront-initiated urban development.

  • The concept of smart city is understood as an indispensable component of urban regeneration projects in small cities in terms of providing a better urban environment and efficient living systems with a limited budget. Recently, the Korean government revised the law that related to the construction of the smart city and started to implement the smart city concept not only to new-large urban development but also to small-existed regeneration projects. However, it is difficult for small and medium-sized cities that are suffering from the insufficient professional workforce; knowledge supports for high-tech and lack of professional networks to proceed smart city planning and project that containing regional characteristics. This paper aims to examine the effective way of urban regeneration for small and medium-sized cities through smart city planning and strategy. As an important case, this paper looks at the 'Smart City Challenge' competition that was hosted by the US Department of Transportation in 2015. It examines the background and operation process of the smart city challenge competition, and then analyses each city's strategy and characteristics of seven finalists. This paper highlights the several key lessons to Korean cities: 1) the importance of national government's support in financial and professional resources; 2) the cooperation with local governments and IT corporations which provides realistic and detailed technical solutions; 3) the holistic and integrated approach to urban regeneration starting from transportation issues; 4) the necessity of the government's clear visions and guidelines toward the smart city.

지방분권화 시대 대구광역시의 신재생에너지 보급 확대방안 (Dissemination Plan for the Renewable Energy in Daegu City)

  • The purpose of this study is to propose a way to develop and disseminate the renewable energy technologies and industries in the local community. Fundamentally, the renewable energy is able to reduce environmental pollution and diminish a use of fossil-fuel energy in the local area. And it will lead to promoting regional sustainable energy in the future, as well as making contributions to local economic development. Above all, based on the environmental conservation project, including greening of the city and improving water quality, Daegu metropolitan city has launched a series of renewable energy projects, such as solar city programs and local energy plan. But, some problems still exist, due to the technological, economic and socio-political barriers. Thus, to encourage and disseminate a renewable energy in Daegu city, we need to examine a present condition on renewable energy and analyze constraint elements to prevent its distribution. Based on the results, we have to set the feasible strategy to develop and disseminate renewable energy in Daegu city and help it systematically integrate renewable energy technologies and industries into environmental economics and city planning. Ultimately, to achieve this purpose, we need to adopt the following policy measures: (1) establishment of a master plan for renewable energy; (2) interconnection between local development project and energy industry; (3) promotion of technological development; (4) inducement of and assistance to renewable energy industry; (5) fostering venture companies; (6) specializing Daegu's public office by energy-specific education programs. In particular, local entities including local company, consumers, policy-makers and citizen's groups have to pay attention to local energy plan for the regional sustainable energy future. These measures will lead to establishing an environmentally friendly and sustainable city.

  • 지방자치단체의 도입과 정착으로 지역 간의 다양한 경쟁으로 도시마케팅에 대한 중요성이 매우 증대되고 있다. 이에 따라 지역발전을 위한 일련의 활성화 정책들이 등장하기 시작하고 이 과정에서 지역들이 갖고 있는 고유의 역사와 문화는 훌륭한 핵심수단으로 인식되기 시작했다. 도시가 경쟁력을 갖기 위해 그 도심만의 유 무형의 자원을 개발하여 이를 매력적인 자산으로 활용하는 것이 그 출발점이라 할 수 있다. 그 지역이 갖는 도시정체성을 확립하고 이를 위해 특별한 장소 만들기를 위한 계기가 필요하다. 이러한 도시정체성은 그 도시가 지금까지 지내온 시간을 바탕으로 한다. 이러한 역사적인 요소를 통해 지역의 이미지를 제고시키는 전략을 개발하여 대외적인 홍보방안 수립을 위한 이미지 강화 프로그램을 제안하고 한다. 대전시에 존재하는 문화적 요소인 근대 역사물의 보존과 활용을 통해 지역의 매력적인 도시로서 이미지를 제고 시키고 도시 정체성에 대한 포지셔닝을 구축하고, 지속가능한 도시 재생에 대한 시사점을 제공하고자 한다.

An Investigation of Brand Communication in Small and Medium-sized Cities in China Based on Grounded Theory

  • With the acceleration of China's urbanization process, the economic development and market potential of small and medium-sized cities have been constantly enhanced, with the urbanization competition having been caught in the vortex of homogenization. However, small and medium-sized cities are exposed to limited resources and funds, and therefore need to be more flexible and innovative in the strategy implementation, while urban brand communication is one of the key factors to promote the competitiveness of cities. Taking the small and medium-sized cities in China as the research objects, this study, based on the domestic and foreign theories about the brand communication of small and medium-sized cities, as well as other city-related theories, analyzes textual materials about the current situation and new changes in brand communication of small and medium-sized cities with grounded theory, reflecting on the problems in brand communication in China's small and medium-sized cities. Combining the basic elements of urban brand communication, a model for constructing brand communication strategies for small and medium-sized cities is further proposed, so as to provide the differentiated and distinctive strategies for the construction and communication of urban brands in small and medium-sized cities in China, as well as provide a new perspective and strategy on how to enhance the competitiveness and contribute to the sustainable economic development of small and medium-sized.

역사도시 공주의 건축문화 콘텐츠개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of the Contents in Architectural Culture of the Historical City, GongJu)

  • GongJu is a historical city. There has been scattered Baekje, Chosun and modern cultural heritages in GongJu. Cultural heritages in Baekje is simply preserved in their current condition. Chosun and modern cultural heritages have left their traces only, so that faded from the memory of the world. We must not lose the historical interconnectedness that is created by these heritages. This study is to analyze the architectural culture contents and its practical use program in urban side, and search for the strategy. The purpose of this study is as follows: The first is to retrieve the scattered heritages according to the age and area(as a spot). The second is to improve the street landscape through the linear linkage connecting from spot to spot.(as a line) The last is to create the image of historical city through the regional development.(as an area)

Bioprocess Development for Production of Alkaline Protease by Bacillus pseudofirmus Mn6 Through Statistical Experimental Designs

  • A sequential optimization strategy, based on statistical experimental designs, is employed to enhance the production of alkaline protease by a Bacillus pseudofirmus local isolate. To screen the bioprocess parameters significantly influencing the alkaline protease activity, a 2-level Plackett-Burman design was applied. Among 15 variables tested, the pH, peptone, and incubation time were selected based on their high positive significant effect on the protease activity. A near-optimum medium formulation was then obtained that increased the protease yield by more than 5-fold. Thereafter, the response surface methodology(RSM) was adopted to acquire the best process conditions among the selected variables, where a 3-level Box-Behnken design was utilized to create a polynomial quadratic model correlating the relationship between the three variables and the protease activity. The optimal combination of the major medium constituents for alkaline protease production, evaluated using the nonlinear optimization algorithm of EXCEL-Solver, was as follows: pH of 9.5, 2% peptone, and incubation time of 60 h. The predicted optimum alkaline protease activity was 3,213 U/ml/min, which was 6.4 times the activity with the basal medium.

행정중심복합도시와 혁신도시건설이 국토균형발전에 미치는 영향 (A Study on the Multi Functional Administrative City and Innovation City Effect on Balanced National Development)

  • 본 연구는 정부의 대표적인 국토균형발전정책 수단인 행복도시와 혁신도시의 개발에 따라 우리나라 국토불균형이 어느 정도 완화될 수 있는지를 파악해보고자 한다. 본 연구에서는 국토의 불균형문제를 인구의 공간적 불균형분포에 기인한 것으로 보았으며, 불균형 측정지표로는 정책입안단계에서 보편적으로 사용하고 있는 지니계수(Gini's Coefficient)를 사용하였다. 분석의 결과 행복도시와 혁신도시의 건설은 미래 국토불균형을 다소나마 완화시키는 것으로 예측되었다. 그러나 행복도시와 혁신도시는 향후 심화될 국토불균형에 비하면 그 효과는 매우 미미할 것으로 예측되었다. 따라서 국토불균형을 완화시키고 균형발전을 위해서는 지속적이고 다양한 균형발전정책의 개발이 필요할 것으로 판단되었다.

  • 본 연구는 u-City의 해외시장 선점과 관련된 현황을 분석하고 이를 바탕으로 효과적인 u-City 국가 전략 방안을 모색하는데 목적이 있다. 국외의 u-City 수출시장이 초기 시장이기는 하지만 크게 확대될 것으로 예측되기 때문에 u-City에 관련된 표준화를 선도하고 해외 홍보활동과 기술선진국들과의 협력 등의 전략을 통해 u-City 시장 선점을 위한 준비가 필요한 시점이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 현재 u-City 시장선점과 관련된 정책 현황을 살펴보고, u-City 해외시장과 관련된 여러 현황들을 토대로 u-City 해외시장 선점과 관련된 SWOT 분석을 실시한 후 분석 결과를 토대로 (1) 지속적 현황 파악, (2) 국내 및 국제 네트워크 연계, (3) 국제 개발 협력, (4) 핵심 기술력 확보라는 4 가지 u-City 해외 시장 선점을 위한 전략들을 제안하였다. 본 연구는 기본적으로 문헌연구를 중심으로 관련 전문가들의 검토과정들을 거치는 방식으로 수행되었으며 차후 u-City 종합계획 수립에 반영될 수 있도록 논문의 실용성에 대한 부분도 고려되었다.
