ITO/p-InP 태양전지 제작 (The fabrication of ITO/p-InP solar cells)

  • ITO(Indium Tin Oxide) film with thickness of 1500.angs. was prepared by an e-beam evaporator onto a glass and a p-type InP wafer (100) LEC grown Zn-doped p=2.3*10$\^$16/cm$\^$-3/), in which the components of ITO used for evaporation source were hot pressed pellets 1 mole% ln$\_$2/O$\_$3/+9 mole% SnO$\_$2/, and evaporated in O$\_$2/ ambient. The optimum conditions to preparation of ITO thin film were the substrate temperature of 350.deg. C, the injected oxygen pressure of 2*10$\^$-4/ torr, and the evaporation speed of 0.2-0.3.angs./sec, respectively. In these optimum conditions, the resistivity and the carrier concentration were 5.3*10$\^$-3/ .ohm.-cm, 6.5*10$\^$20/cm$\^$-3/, and the transmittance was over 80%. From the results of J-V measurements in ITO/p-InP structure solar cells, the higher pressure of injected oxygen, the more open circuit voltage. The efficiency of ITO/p-InP solar cell without the grid line contact, prepared by the optimum evaporation conditions, was 7.19%. By using the grid line contact, the efficiency, the open circuit voltage, the short circuit current density, the fill factor, the series resistance, and the shunt resistance were 8.5%, 0.47V, 29.48 mAcm$\^$-2/ , 61.35%, 3.ohm., and 26.6k.ohm., respectively.

임피던스법을 이용한 혈류량 변화 측정 (Measurement of Blood Flow Variation using Impedance Method)

  • 본 연구에서는 생체 임피던스의 변화를 계측하여 혈류량의 변화를 추정하기 위한 시스템을 구현하였다. 구현된 시스템은 인위적인 압력을 가하여 압력의 변화에 따른 임피던스의 변화량을 측정할 수 있도록 구성하였으며, 크게 압력 측정부와 4 전극법을 이용한 임피던스 측정부로 구분할 수 있다. 압력 측정부는 반도체식 압력센서와 센서의 출력신호를 처리하기 위한 전자회로부로 구성하였고, 임피던스 측정부는 교류 정전류원 회로와 임피던스 신호의 검출을 위한 락인 증폭기로 시스템을 구성하였다. 구현된 시스템의 성능평가를 위하여 표준저항을 이용한 임피던스 측정부의 특성조사 실험을 수행 하였다. 그리고 실제 실험군을 대상으로 임피던스의 계측을 통한 혈류량 변화 추정실험을 수행하였고, 혈류량 변화와 평균 동맥압을 이용한 혈류 저항비를 추정하였다 그 결과 혈류저항비와 혈류량의 변화는 반비례관계를 명확하게 보여 주었으며, 상관분석을 수행한 결과 상관계수가 -0.96776으로 강한 음의 상관관계를 나타내었다.

  • The closed cycle diesel system is operated in closed circuit system where there is non air breathing with working fluid consists of combination of oxygen, argon and recycled exhaust gas far obtaining underwater or underground power sources. Experimental apparatus using the MTU8V183SE92 high pressurized engine adapted for closed cycle running, capable of operating at the system pressure of maximum 5 bar is constructed with ACAP as data acquisition system in order to operate equally in the open cycle in surface or the closed cycle in submerged conditions. The general features and the characteristics of combustion of HP(high pressure) diesel engine, specially designed and manufactured only for CCDE, are investigated. The test results of performance of HP diesel engine in closed cycle system are presented with respect to power and boost pressure and compared with those of low pressure diesel engine. The oxygen concentration and specific heat ratio are investigated with its deviation

  • Effects of compacting pressure on the electrical and sintering characteristics of Cu25Cr contact material have been investigated. Cu25Cr contact materials were prepared by solid and liquid-phase sintering methods varying compacting pressure. Influence of compacting pressure on electrical characteristics were investigated in the cylindrical stainless-steel vessel using L-C resonant circuit. The physical and electrical properties of solid-phase sintered Cu25Cr material were found to be improved by increased compacting pressure. On the other hand, it was found that compacting pressure had little influence in case of liquid-phase sintered Cu25Cr material. After conditioning, contact resistance of Cu25Cr material was decreased regardless of compacting pressure. With increased compacting pressure, interrupting ability was shown to be increased.

  • This study reports on the pressure relief design and braided composite of surge arrester. Surge arresters with porcelain housing must not have explosive breakage of the housing to minimize damage to other equipment when subjected to internal high short circuit current. As a solution, this study describes pressure relief design performance of arresters with braided composite module. In general, braided composite has Potential for improved impact and delamination resistance. Manufacturing processes of the braided composite could also be automated and could potentially lead to lower costs. Therefore, in consideration of characteristics of pressure relief for polymer arrester, the fabric pattern of braided composite was decided. And Polymer arrester module was manufactured with braid. The mechanisms of pressure occurrence and relief were investigated basically by analyzing arc energy and the correlation between thermal shock and indoor pressure in pressure relief test.

원전 증기발생기 와전류검사 시스템 개발 (A Development of Eddy Current Testing System for Steam Generators Inspection in Nuclear Power Plants)

  • The capacity factor of nuclear power plant in Korea is the highest level in the world. However, the integrity assessment of nuclear power plant is depended on foreign country. Especially, most eddy current testing systems for inspecting steam generators in nuclear power plant are currently imported from USA, Canada, and so on. Therefore, the eddy current testing system can react more active and adaptive from economic and managerial standpoint for actual nuclear power plants in Korea is required. In this paper, an eddy current testing system for inspecting steam generators in nuclear power plants is introduced. Frequency generator, analog circuit, analog digital converter circuit, and digital control circuit are composed in eddy current testing system. A benchmarking of acquisition system and acquisition software, eddynet 11i made by Zetec, and modifications are carried out based on the test environment of Korea nuclear power plants. Finally, all eddy current apparatus are integrated to inspect steam generator tubes in nuclear power plants.

재생 유기랭킨사이클을 이용한 직렬 열병합 발전 시스템의 열역학적 성능 특성 (Thermodynamic Performance Analysis of a Cogeneration System in Series Circuit Using Regenerative ORC)

  • This paper presents the analytical results of the thermodynamic performance characteristics for a cogeneration system using regenerative organic Rankine cycle (ORC) driven by low-grade heat source. The combined heat and power cogeneration system consists of a regenerative superheated ORC and an additional process heater in a series circuit. Eight working fluids of R134a, R152a, propane, isobutane, butane, R245fa, R123, and isopentane are considered for the analysis. Special attention is paid to the effect of turbine inlet pressure on the system performance such as thermal input, net power and useful heat productions, electrical, thermal, and system efficiencies. The results show a significant effect of the turbine inlet pressure and selection of working fluid on the thermodynamic performance of the system.

  • The customers who used the hydroulic system desire the product that has more detailed specification quickly during the industrial technology is developed. Every researcher try to reduce the developed period and to satisfy the customers' desire. Lot's of simulation software and hardware already was used to be satisfied those purpose. But these kind of equipment need a lot of cost to set up and technical knowledge to drive that system. This paper concerns about analog PID controller that can be assembled with a few resistor, condenser and optional amplifier and doesn't need technical knowledge to drive. At the first, the plant was modeled mathematically to design the analog PID controller's circuit. After that, PID controller's parameter was selected by customers' desire. Finally, the analog PID controller's circuit was assembled from the control law. The circuit's availability was confirmed by step response test in the controlled system.

  • This paper is a study on the thermal design of printed circuit heat exchanger (PCHE) to supply cryogenic high pressure liquid hydrogen stored from hydrogen liquefaction process by using computational fluid dynamics (CFD). This PCHE should be thermally designed to raise the temperature of cryogenic liquid hydrogen to a desired temperature and also to be anti-icing to avoid any local freezing in hot channel. This research presents the effect of inlet velocity and inlet temperature of hydrogen, and the effect of flow configurations of co/counter-flow on thermal design of PCHE heat exchanger based on various CFD simulation analysis.

  • This paper deals with the effects of the volume of thermal expansion chamber on the interrupting performance in thermal expansion type 25.8kV 25kA gas circuit breaker. Model interrupters with 5 type thermal expansion chamber were designed and manufactured. Short-circuit tests were carried out for those model interrupters with 25kA breaking current. Pressure rise in the expansion chamber were measured and compared with the calculated one which was obtained from a self-developed program in our team. The analysis on the interrupting performance of each model interrupter has been done on the base of the short-circuit test results.
