소나 송신기의 정합회로 설계를 위한 수중 음향 압전 트랜스듀서의 등가회로 파라미터 추정 (Estimation of Equivalent Circuit Parameters of Underwater Acoustic Piezoelectric Transducer for Matching Network Design of Sonar Transmitter)

  • This paper presents an estimation technique of the equivalent circuit parameters for an underwater acoustic piezoelectric transducer from the measured impedance. Estimated equivalent circuit can be used for the design of the impedance matching network of the sonar transmitter. A fitness function is proposed to minimize the error between the calculated impedance of the equivalent circuit and the measured impedance of the transducer. The equivalent circuit parameters are estimated by using the fitness function and the PSO(Particle Swarm Optimization) algorithm. The effectiveness of the proposed method is verified by the applications to a sandwich-type transducer and a dummy load. In addition, the impedance matching network is also designed by using the estimated equivalent circuit model.

  • This paper deals with the configuration, operating principles, systematic calculation method of parameter and optimization method of test circuit for parallel current injection method, series voltage injection method and hybrid synthetic test method as the method for performance test of circuit breaker with extra high interrupting capacity. The test method depicted above is applied to short-circuit making and breaking test (operating sequence :Os CdOs, Od-CdOs) and out-of-phase tests(operating sequence :Os, CdOs) for performance test of the newly-developed 420kV, 50kA and 800kV 50kV puffer-type gas circuit-breaker according to IEC 60056 and IEC 60427. The testing results, evaluation of equivalence for test and analyzed results are also presented in this paper.

대리모델들을 이용한 인쇄형 열교환기의 최적설계 (Design Optimization of a Printed Circuit Heat Exchanger Using Surrogate Models)

  • Shape optimization of a Printed circuit heat exchanger (PCHE) has been performed by using three-dimensional Reynolds-Averaged Navier-Stokes (3-D RANS) analysis and surrogate modeling techniques. The objective function is defined as a linear combination of effectiveness of the PCHE term and pressure drop in the cold channels of the PCHE. The cold channel angle and the ellipse aspect ratio of the cold channel are used as design variables for the optimization. Design points are selected through Latin-hypercube sampling. The optimal point is determined through surrogate-based optimization method which uses 3-D RANS analyses at design points. The results of three types of surrogate model are compared each other. The results of the optimizations indicate improved performance in friction loss but low performance in effectiveness than the reference shape.

  • Feeder arrangement is an important element of process planning for printed circuit board assembly systems. This paper newly proposes a feeder arrangement method for multihead-gantry chip mounters. The multihead-gantry chip mounters are very popular in printed circuit board assembly system, but the research has been mainly focused on single-head-gantry chip mounters. We present an integer programming formulation for optimization problem of multihead-gantry chip mounters, and propose a heuristic method to solve the large NP-complete problem in reasonable time. Dynamic programming method is then applied to feeder arrangement optimization to reduce the overall assembly time. Comparative simulation results are finally presented to verify the usefulness of the proposed method.

  • 본 논문에서는 인접된 다중모드 공진점을 갖는 수중 음향 압전 트랜스듀서의 전기적 등가회로 모델을 추정하는 방법을 제안하였다. 트랜스듀서의 실측된 임피던스와 추정된 등가모델의 임피던스 오차가 최소가 되도록 공진모드간 결합 영향을 고려한 적합도 함수를 제안하고, 미립자 집단 최적화 (PSO:Particle Swarm Optimization) 알고리즘을 이용하여 등가회로의 미지상수를 추정하였다. 3개의 공진점을 갖는 샌드위치형 예제 트랜스듀서에 대하여 제안된 방법을 적용하여 등가회로를 모델링하고, 수중에서의 임피던스 측정치와 추정된 등가모델의 임피던스를 비교함으로써 제안된 기법의 타당성을 검증하였다.

사출금형의 균일 냉각을 위한 냉각회로의 다중목적함수 최적설계 (Multi-objective Optimization of an Injection Mold Cooling Circuit for Uniform Cooling)

  • An injection mold cooling circuit for an automotive front bumper was optimally designed in order to simultaneously minimize the average of the standard deviations of the temperature and the difference in mean temperatures of the upper and lower molds for uniform cooling. The temperature distribution for a specified design was evaluated by Moldflow Insight 2010, a commercial injection molding analysis tool. For efficient design, PIAnO (Process Integration, Automation and Optimization), a commercial PIDO tool, was used to integrate and automate injection molding analysis procedure. The weighted-sum method was used to handle the multi-objective optimization problem and PQRSM, a function-based sequential approximate optimizer equipped in PIAnO, to handle numerically noisy responses with respect to the variation of design variables. The optimal average of the standard deviations and difference in mean temperatures were found to be reduced by 9.2% and 56.52%, respectively, compared to the initial ones.

제한조건을 고려한 효율적 회로 설계 알고리즘 (An efficient circuit design algorithm considering constraint)

  • In this paper, An efficient circuit design algorithm considering constraint is proposed. The proposed algorithm sets up in time constraint and area constraint, power consumption constraint for a circuit implementation. First, scheduling process for time constraint. Select the FU(Function Unit) which is satisfied with time constraint among the high level synthesis results. Analyze area and power consumption of selected FUs. Constraint set for area and power constraint. Device selection to see to setting condition. Optimization circuit implementation in selected device. The proposed algorithm compared with [7] and [8] algorithm. Therefore the proposed algorithm is proved an efficient algorithm for optimization circuit implementation.

지능형 최적화 기법 이용한 하이브리드 자기부상 시스템의 설계 (Design of Hybrid Magnetic Levitation System using Intellignet Optimization Algorithm)

  • In this paper, an optimal design of hybrid magnetic levitation(Maglev) system using intelligent optimization algorithms is proposed. The proposed maglev system adopts hybrid suspension system with permanent-magnet(PM) and electro magnet(EM) to reduce the suspension power loss and the teaching-learning based optimization(TLBO) that can overcome the drawbacks of conventional intelligent optimization algorithm is used. To obtain the mathematical model of hybrid suspension system, the magnetic equivalent circuit including leakage fluxes are used. Also, design restrictions such as cross section areas of PM and EM, the maximum length of PM, magnetic force are considered to choose the optimal parameters by intelligent optimization algorithm. To meet desired suspension power and lower power loss, the multi object function is proposed. To verify the proposed object function and intelligent optimization algorithms, we analyze the performance using the mean value and standard error of 10 simulation results. The simulation results show that the proposed method is more effective than conventional optimization methods.

브러시리스 직류전동기의 다목적 최적설계 (Multiobjective Design Optimization of Brushless DC Motor)

  • The multiobjective optimization (MO) problem usually includes the conflicting objectives and the use of conventional optimization algorithms for MO problem does not so good approach to obtain an effective optimal solution. In this paper, genetic algorithm (GA) as an effective method is used to solve such MO problem of brushless DC motor (BLDCM). 3D equivalent magnetic circuit network (EMCN) method which enables us to reduce the computational burden is also used to consider the 3D structure of BLDCM. In order to effectively obtain a set of Pareto optimal solutions in MO problem, ranking method proposed by Fonseca is applied. The objective functions are decrease of cogging torque and increase of torque respectively. The airgap length, teeth width and magnetization angle of PM are selected for the design variables. The experimental results are also shown to confirm the validity of the optimization results.

  • A simple analysis method for inverter-fed induction motor using F.E.M and harmonic equivalent circuit is proposed. And an optimum shape of rotor slot for 2Hp inverter-fed induction motor is determined by combining the proposed analysis method and an optimization algorithm. Conjugate gradient method is used for the optimization algorithm. The optimization is performed for higher efficiency and reduction of harmonic loss in the inverter-fed induction motor. The optimization results are verified by comparing with those of the time-step F.E.A.
