DPVBi/Alg3:Rubrene 구조를 사용한 2-파장 방식의 백색유기발광소자의 발광특성에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Luminous Properties of the White-light-emitting Organic LED with Two-wavelength using DPVBi/Alg3:Rubrene Structure)

  • The white-light-emitting organic LED with two-wavelength was fabricated using blue emitting material(DPVBi) and a series of orange color fluorescent dye(Rubrene) by vacuum evaporation processes. The basic structure of white-light-emitting OLED was ITO/NPB(150$\AA$)/DPVBi(150$\AA$)/Alq$_3$:Rubrene(150$\AA$)/BCP(100$\AA$)/Alq$_3$(150$\AA$)/Al(600$\AA$). The changes of the CIE coordiante strongly depended on the doping concentration of Rubrene and the thickness of NPB layer. We obtained the white-light-emitting OLED close to the pure white color light and the CIE coordinate of the device was (0.315, 0.330) at applied voltage of 13V when the doping concentration of Rubrene was 0.5wt% and the thickness of NPB layer is 200$\AA$. At a current of 100mA/$\textrm{cm}^2$, the quantum efficiency was 0.35%.

Study on full color RGB LED source lighting for general lighting and Improvement of CRI (Color Rendering Index)

  • The purpose of this study is to check if LED lighting can be used as general lighting and examine the color rendering property of full color RGB LED lighting. CRI is one of the important properties of evaluating lighting. However the present CRI does not fully evaluate LED lightings. Firstly, the performance of a simple task was compared other than comparing CRI values for different lighting. For experimental preparation three types of lightings were used; standard D65 fluorescent tube, general household fluorescent tube, and RGB LED lighting. All three lightings show high error for Purple-Red. All three lightings show similar error for all hues and prove that color discrimination is not affected by the lighting. This proves that LED could be used as general lighting. Secondly, problems of the conventional CIE CRI method are considered and new models are suggested for the new lighting source. Each of the models was evaluated with visual experiment results obtained by the white light matching experiment. The suggested model is based on the CIE CRI method but replaces the color space model by CIELAB, color difference model by CIEDE2000, and chromatic adaptation model by CAT02.

Hole Blocking Layer 사용에 따른 하이브리드 백색 OLED의 색순도 향상에 관한 연구 (Improvement of Color Purity Using Hole Blocking Layer in Hybrid White OLED)

  • Novel materials of $Zn(HPB)_2$ and Ir-complexes were respectively synthesized as blue or red emitting material. White Organic Light Emitting Diodes (OLED) were fabricated by using $Zn(HPB)_2$ for a blue emitting layer, Ir-complexes for a red emitting layer and $Alq_3$ for a green emitting layer. White OLED was fabricated by using double emitting layers of $Zn(HPB)_2$ and $Alq_3:Ir$-complexes, and hole blocking layer of BCP. We also varied the thickness of BCP. When the thickness of BCP layer was 5 nm, white emission was achieved. We obtained a maximum luminance of $3,500cd/m^2$. The CIE coordinates was (0.375, 0.331). From this study, we could propose that the hybrid structure is efficient in lighting application of white OLED by improvement of color purity.

도공지 노화에 관한 연구(I) - 도공지 강제열화 시 라텍스가 도공지의 광학적 특성에 미치는 영향 - (Studies on the Aging Behavior of Coated Paper(I) -Effect of latex on optical properties of coated paper during dry heat aging-)

  • This study was carried out in order to elucidate the effect of latex dosage and properties on aging behavior of coated paper. The coated paper with five different coating formulations were prepared and also four different latices were used. The coated paper were thermally aged at $105^{\circ}C$ for 14 days and the optical properties were measured. Increasing latex content increased the magnitude of reduction in brightness and whiteness. In addition, the variations in CIE a$^*b^*$ were larger with increasing latex dosage. Latex which has the lower gel content and the higher Tg showed the higher reduction in brightness and whiteness and much variation in CIE a$^*b^*$. However the particle size of latex didn't affect to thermal behavior of coated paper. These results indicate that latex which has higher Tg and lower gel content is the one of the main factors affecting aging behavior of coated paper.

Development of an Illumination Measurement Device for Color Distribution Based on a CIE 1931 XYZ Sensor

  • In this paper, an easy-to-use measurement device for illumination distribution is developed. The device consists of a sensor array module, a control module, and a PC interface. The sensor array module incorporates CIE 1931 color sensors and the ARM-based 96 MHz microcontroller in the control module for measurement and data processing. The sensor array module contains 64 color sensors arranged in a $16{\times}4$ array. The sensitivity of the sensor array module can be adjusted depending on the illumination level to be measured. The measurement data and control signals are exchanged via USB 2.0 standard. To demonstrate the performance of the device, the illumination distribution is measured for colors of red, green, and blue and is graphically shown. The device can be used for measurement of the illumination distribution, design and adjustment of LED illumination.

Improved Flowability and Wettability of Whey Protein-Fortified Skim Milk Powder via Fluidized Bed Agglomeration

  • Recently, protein-fortified milk powders are being widely consumed in Korea to prevent sarcopenia, and the demand for high-protein food powders is continuously increasing in the Korean market. However, spray-dried milk proteins have poor flowability and wettability owing to their fine particle sizes and high inter-particle cohesive forces. Fluidized bed agglomeration is widely used to improve the instant properties of food powders. This study investigated the effect of fluidized bed agglomeration on whey protein isolate (WPI)-fortified skim milk powder (SMP) at different SMP/WPI ratios. The fluidized bed process increased the particle size distribution, and agglomerated particles with grape-like structures were observed in the SEM images. As the size increased, the Carr index (CI) and Hausner ratio (HR) values of the agglomerated WPI-fortified SMP particles exhibited excellent flowability (CI: <15) and low cohesiveness (HR: <1.2). In addition, agglomerated WPI-fortified SMP particles exhibited the faster wetting time than the instant criterion (<20 s). As a result, the rheological and physical properties of the WPI-fortified SMP particles were effectively improved by fluidized bed agglomeration. However, the fluidized bed agglomeration process led to a slight change in the color properties. The CIE L* decreased, and the CIE b* increased because of the Maillard reaction. The apparent viscosity (ηa,10) and consistency index (K) values of the rehydrated solutions (60 g/180 mL water) increased with the increasing WPI ratio. These results may be useful for formulating protein-fortified milk powder with better instant properties.

광학적 수형의 디지털 시각화를 이용한 수색분석 (Analyzing Optical Water Type Using Digital Visualization)

  • This study investigated the optical characterization of water types based on Jerlov's classification, employing the CIE colorimetric system. Digital visualization techniques were applied to articulate watercolor manifestations intuitively. The L* luminance parameter exhibited a discernible reduction from optical water type I III and from type 1 to 9, registering a range between 66 and 84. Analysis of color attributes in each optical water type revealed that in the transition from type I to III, the color a* values spanned from -7.43 to -8.32, while color b* values ranged from -2.97 to -3.33. a* values for optical water types 1 to 9 varied between -6.28 and -10.50, with corresponding b* values ranging from -2.51 to -4.20. Consequently, optical water type I, IA, IB, II, and III were discretely categorized by independent color values, as were optical water types 1, 3, 5, 7, and 9. The digitized representation of watercolor in this inquiry facilitated comprehensive information asso,o;atopm. The study highlights limitations in Jerlov's classification for representing watercolors in different ocean conditions. It emphasized the need to collect color data from various marine areas and formulate a novel color standard or method for comparing colors.

사료에 야콘 부산물을 첨가 급여한 육계의 생산성 및 닭다리육의 이화학적 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effects of Dietary Supplementation of Yacon (Polymnia sonchifolia) by-products on Performance and Physico-chemical Properties of Chicken Thigh Meat)

  • 본 시험은 육계에 야콘 부산물 분말을 급여량(0, 1.0 및 2.0%)에 따라 급여하여 5주간 사육한 육계의 생산성과 다리육의 pH, 총페놀함량, 전자공여능, TBARS, WHC, 전단력, 육색 및 관능평가를 조사하였다. 실험구는 야콘 부산물 분말을 첨가 급여하지 않은 처리구를 대조구, 야콘 부산물 분말 0.5% 급여구는 T1, 야콘 부산물 분말 1% 급여구는 T2 그리고 야콘 부산물 분말 2.0% 급여구를 T3 등으로 나누어 사양하였다. 야콘 부산물을 급여한 육계의 증체량, 사료섭취량 및 사료요구율 등의 생산성 변화는 관찰되지 않았으나, 폐사율은 감소하였다. 혈액 생화학 성상 분석 결과, 야콘 부산물의 첨가 급여는 총콜레스테롤과 LDL-cholesterol 및 triglyceride는 감소하고, HDL-cholesterol과 glucose는 증가하였다. 야콘 부산물을 급여한 계육의 pH, TBARS는 야콘 부산물 급여량이 증가함에 따라 낮아지는 결과(P<0.05)를 보이므로 야콘 부산물 급여는 계육의 저장성 향상에 도움이 될 것으로 기대된다. 총페놀함량과 전자공여능은 대조구보다 야콘 부산물 급여구에서 함량이 증가하였으며(P<0.05), 보수성과 전단력은 처리구간 유의성이 없었다. 계육의 육색 중 CIE $L^*$값과 CIE $a^*$값은 대조구보다 야콘 부산물 분말 급여구에서 높아졌으며(P<0.05), CIE $b^*$값은 야콘 부산물 급여량에 의한 처리구 간의 유의적인 변화가 없는 결과이었다. 관능검사 결과, 야콘 부산물을 급여함으로써 연도는 높아졌지만, 다즙성과 육향은 유의성이 없었다. 결론적으로 야콘 부산물 분말 2%를 육계에 급여하면 pH와 TBARS가 낮아지고, 총페놀함량이 높아지며, 전자공여능이 향상되어 계육의 저장성이 개선될 것으로 기대된다.

역삼투 처리한 해양 심층수의 급여가 닭고기의 품질 특성에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Reverse Osmosis-treated Deep Sea Water Supplementation on the Quality Characteristics of Chicken Meat)

  • 본 연구는 역삼투 처리한 심층수의 급여가 닭고기의 품질 특성에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 실시하였다. 1일령 Ross 308종 육계 병아리를 음용수의 종류에 따라 2처리구로 나누어 각각 식수(대조구)와 역삼투 심층수를 28일 동안 급여하였다. 대조구의 경우 0.21% 소금이 첨가된 사료를 급여하였으며, 역삼투 심층수 급여구의 경우 심층수 원수를 역삼투 처리한 후 3차 증류수로 1:20(역삼투 심층수:증류수)의 비율로 희석하여 제공하였다. 시료의 처리는 육성 완료시 처리구 마다 각각 5수씩 도축한 다음 가슴육을 $4^{\circ}C$에서 9일 동안 저장하였다. 일반 성분 함량, 지방산 조성, 콜레스테롤 함량, 미네랄 함량, pH, 보수력 및 전단력은 역삼투 심층수의 급여에 따른 차이를 보이지 않았다. 지방산화(TBARS)는 저장 6일째부터 역삼투 심층수 급여구가 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 높았다(P<0.05). 표면 육색은 역삼투 심층수 급여구의 명도(CIE $L^*$)가 저장 6일째부터 대조구보다 유의적으로 낮았으나(P<0.05), 적색도(CIE $a^*$)와 황색도(CIE $b^*$)는 저장 기간 동안 처리구들간에 차이가 없었다. 결론적으로 역삼투 처리한 심층수를 육계에게 급여했을 때 닭고기의 저장 중 육색이 어둡게 변하였으며, 지방산화 안정성이 감소하였다. 따라서 역삼투 처리 심층수의 급여는 닭고기의 품질을 저하시키므로 육계의 음용수로서 사용하는 것은 바람직하지 못하다고 판단된다.

옻 급여가 한우육의 해동후 냉장중 품질에 미치는 영향 (Effect of Dietary Rhus verniciflua Stokes on the Quality of Hanwoo (Korean Cattle) Beef during Cold Storage after Thawing)

  • 본 연구는 옻 급여가 한우육의 해동후 냉장중 품질에 미치는 영향을 구명하고자 22개월령 거세 한우를 4처리구로 3두씩 선정하였다. 도축 전 4개월 동안 옻나무 분말을 0(대조구), 2, 4 및 $6\%$씩 급여하였으며 우둔(M semmimembranous) 부위를 $-20^{\circ}C$에서 9개월 동안 저장하였다. 일반성분은 조지방 함량에서 옻 4 및 $6\%$급여구가 대조구보다 유의적으로 낮게 나타났다(p<0.05). pH는 저장 2일과 5일부터 옻 4 및 $6\%$ 급여구가 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 높게 나타났다 (p<0.05). 해동 감량은 처리구간에 유의적인 차이가 보이지 않았으나 드립 감량은 저장기간동안 옻 4 및 $6\%$ 급여구가 유의적으로 낮게 나타났다(p<0.05). $L^{\ast}$ 값은 저장기간동안 옻 급여구가 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 낮은 값을 보였으며 (p<0.05), $a^{\ast}$ 값은 옻 4및 $6\%$급여구가 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). $b^{\ast}$ 값은 저장 0일에 대조구가 옻 $6\%$ 급여구보다 유의적으로 높게 나타났으나(p<0.05) 7일에는 옻 $4\%$ 급여구가 대조구보다 유의적으로 높게 나타났다(p<0.05). $C^{\ast}$ 값은 저장기간동안 옻 $4\%$ 급여구가 대조구에 비해 유의적으로 높은 값을 보였으며(p<0.05), $h^0$값은 옻 4 및 $h^0$ 급여구가 대조구보다 유의적으로 낮았다(p<0.05). TBARS는 저장 2일에는 옻 4 및 $6\%$ 급여구가 대조구보다 유의적으로 낮게 나타났으나(p<0.05) 5일부터는 옻 $4\%$ 급여구가 다른 처리구들보라 유의적으로 낮은 값을 나타내었다(p<0.05). MetMb 농도는 저장기간동안 옻 급여구들이 대조구보다 유의적으로 낮게 나타났으며(p<0.05), 저장 7일에는 옻 $4\%$ 급여구가 유의적으로 가장 낮게 나타났다(p<0.05). $R_{6.30}/R_{580}$ 값은 MetMb 농도와 상반된 결과를 나타내었다. 따라서 옻 급여로 인해 한우육의 해동후 냉장기간동안 pH, 드립 감량, 육색, TBARS, 표면육색소의 변화가 현저히 지연되어 품질이 향상되었으며 $4\%$ 급여가 가장 우수한 효과를 나타내었다.
