소비자의 선택제품의 몰입을 유도하는 결정 확신성과 안락감의 영향요인 (The Factors Affecting Decision Confidence and Comfort that Induce Choice Commitment)

  • Purpose - Present study aimed at investigating the factors that may affect consumers' decision confidence and decision comfort inducing choice commitment taken place at the stage of post-decision/pre-outcome. This study explored whether there are positive effects of dominance and instrumentality of chosen product on the decision confidence, and also identified whether there are positive effects of choice easiness and goal achievement-related affect felt at the chosen product on the decision comfort. Research design, data, and methodology - Portable digital camera as experimental product was used. 260 data were collected from college students. Four were removed from the analyses because they did not complete the questionnaire. Eighteen were removed because they indicated not experiencing the camera in the past. 238 data were used at the analyses to verify hypotheses by structural equation model in AMOS 21.0. Results - First, both of the consumers' decision confidence and decision comfort positively affected choice commitment. Second, the dominance as well as the instrumentality had positive impact upon the decision confidence. Third, the choice easiness and goal achievement-related affect felt at the chosen product had positive impact on the decision comfort. In sum, present study identified the mediation roles of the decision confidence in the effects of both dominance and instrumentality of the chosen product on forming choice commitment, and also found the mediation roles of the decision comfort in the effects of choice easiness and goal achievement-related affect felt at the product on forming choice commitment. Conclusions - Focusing on the stage of post-decision/pre-outcome in decision making process, present study contributes to advancing the choice commitment theories by exploring the positive effects of both dominance and instrumentality of chosen product on the decision confidence, and by finding the positive effects of both choice easiness and goal achievement-related affect felt at the chosen product on the decision comfort. Marketers should promote their products' dominance and instrumentality by showing the superior roles of their product attributes in achieving consumption goal, and should help consumers feel comfort by making choice process easier and giving information that could help feel the goal achievement-related affect at their product chosen.

반복적 의사결정에서 위험선호성향의 변화 (Changes in Risk-taking Bahavior in Repetitive Choice Situation)

  • It is not to observe that a decision-maker frequently changes his choice strategy in the repetitive gamble choice situation. This change in risk preference attitude, however, is not well explained with the existing gamble choice models, such as Bell's disappointment-elation model which is an interesting extension of the classical MEU model. This paper shows that this change in risk preference attitude should be interpreted as a systematic transition of "d" and "e", the disappointment and elation constants of Bell's model repectively. A laboratory experiment is also performed to identify the factors which greatly affect the decision-makers' risk preference attitude change. The number of consecutive successes/failures and the amount of remaining capital found to be statistically significant factors.significant factors.

  • 최근 국내에서는 민간 분야뿐만 아니라 공공물류에의 활용을 위해 좀 더 신뢰성 있고 개선된 화물수요추정방법에 대한 관심이 높아지고 있다. 현재 화물수요분석의 기초자료로 활용되고 있는 지역 간 화물기종점통행량(OD)자료는 각 화물의 생산지와 소비지 사이의 이동과 전환관계가 복잡함에도 불구하고 출발지와 목적지 사이의 환적시설이나 물류시설을 노드로 구분하지 않고 각 존의 물동량에 포함시킴으로써 화물의 정확한 이동이나 전환관계를 파악하지 못하게 하는 한계점을 지니고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 이러한 인식하에 개별 의사결정자인 기업에 의해 이동되는 화물의 물적인 흐름을 분석하기 위한 물적 유통경로 선택모형을 개발하는 것이다. 이는 개별회사의 의사결정에 있어 매우 거시적인 개념이며, 개별 의사결정자인 기업이 유통경로를 선택할 때 어떠한 요소를 고려하는지를 살펴 보고자하였다. 본 연구에서는 2007 화물유통경로조사의 내수화물자료를 중심으로 기초통계 분석을 수행하고 물적 유통경로 선택모형을 구축하였다. 또한 구축된 모형이 합리적인지 평가하기 위해 최종 모형에 대해 유통경로선택이론을 기초로 가설검증을 수행하고 적중률을 산출하였다. 선정된 최종모형의 가설 검증결과, 제조업체는 유통경로 선택시 도착지점의 시장특성, 업종 및 품목특성, 경로특성, 기업의 크기 및 경제력 등을 중요하게 고려하는 것으로 나타났다.

Influencing Factors in High vs. Low Share Brand Choice

  • We investigate factors that influence the choice of high-share brands(HSBs) vs. low-share brands(LSBs) among various product and consumer characteristics related to brand-share perceptions. Specifically, using 8 product categories varying in terms of purchase decision involvement, we show how the influencing factors vary across the categories. At the general level that cover all the 8 categories, our hierarchical Bayesian regressions analysis shows that factors that favor high-share brands are purchase decision involvement, search goods, experience goods, price-quality relationship, positive network externalities, and price-prestige beliefs. Conversely, consumers who value variety seeking and need for uniqueness favor low-share brands. The effects of these factors, however, vary across product categories. The identification of these characteristics can help brand managers establish a more effective brand-share strategy in such areas as setting an optimal market share goal, extending a brand, and developing ad copy. Furthermore, our consumer segmentation analysis demonstrates the general market has two distinct segments - (1) a segment composed of HSB buyers(86%) and (2) a segment composed of LSB buyers(14%). The two segments are also shown to have different significant factors that explain their brand choice. Our segmentation analysis can help marketers establish a marketing strategy that targets a specific segment of interest.

대학생의 진로스트레스, 진로선택몰입 및 진로결정 자기효능감과의 관계 (Relationship of career-related stress, commitment to a career choice and career decision self-efficacy of college students)

  • 본 연구는 대학생의 진로스트레스, 진로선택몰입 및 진로결정 자기효능감과의 관계를 파악하기 위한 서술적 조사연구이다. 연구대상은 P시에 소재한 4년제 대학생 293명을 대상으로 구조화된 설문지를 이용하여 2015년 5월 6일부터 5월 29일까지 자료를 수집하였다. 수집된 자료는 SPSS 23.0 프로그램을 이용하여 서술적 통계, t-test, ANOVA, Pearson,s correlation coefficient, Hierarchical regression analysis로 분석하였다. 연구결과 대상자의 진로스트레스는 진로선택몰입(r=-.731, p<.001)과 진로결정 자기효능감(r=-.449, p<.001)과 유의한 음의 상관관계가 있었으며, 진로스트레스에 영향을 미치는 요인은 학년(${\beta}$=.99, p<.017)과 진로선택몰입(${\beta}$=-.707, p<.001)이었다. 그러므로 대학생의 진로스트레스를 감소시키기 위해서는 진로선택몰입과 진로결정 자기효능감을 향상시키기 위한 교육프로그램이 필요하다.

자연계열 학업우수 고등학생의 전공결정 영향요인 (Factors Influencing the Choice of Major for High Achievement Students in High School)

  • 본 연구는 자연계열 학업우수 고등학생들의 희망전공 결정 현황과 학생이 인식하는 전공결정의 영향요인을 살펴보고자 하는 것을 목적으로 한다. 이를 위해 전공결정에 관한 질문지를 14개 고등학교 학생 1000여명에게 실시하였고, 수거된 응답 중에서 자연계열 학업우수 고등학생 655명의 자료를 분석하였다. 연구결과, 첫째, 고등학교 2학년에 희망전공을 결정한 비율이 80% 이상으로 3학년과 차이가 없었으며, 의학계열을 전공하고자 하는 학생들이 50% 이상으로 나타났다. 둘째, 이학을 전공하기를 희망하는 학생들이 의학계열을 전공하고자 하는 학생들보다 진로결정수준이 높았다. 셋째, 학생들의 전공결정에 가장 중요한 요인은 본인의 학문적 흥미와 적성이었고, 이는 의학계열을 전공하고자 하는 학생들보다 공학계열과 이학계열을 전공하고자 하는 학생들에게서 더 중요하게 고려되는 것으로 나타났다. 공학과 이학에 대한 학문적 흥미와 적성을 찾을 수 있는 경험을 제공하고 고등학생들의 진로결정수준을 높이기 위한 진로개발 프로그램을 시행하는 것이 의학계열에 대한 선호도 현상을 해결하는데 중요한 역할을 할 수 있을 것임을 시사한다.

환자이동에 영향을 미치는 개인 및 병원요인 분석 (Factors Affecting Patient Moving for Medical Service Using Multi-level Analysis)

  • The purpose of this study is to find out factors affecting patient moving to receive medical service. This study is analyzed by multi-level model with patient and hospital level by using SAS 9.3. Total number of patients is 600,000 persons for inpatients and 550,000 patients for outpatients. The degree of the factors, which is combined with personnel factor and hospital factor, can be analyzed by Intra-Class Correlation (ICC). The percentage of group(hospital) level variance of the total variance for out-bound moving case are 30.6% at inpatients, and 28.3% at outpatients. And the percentage of hospital level variance of the total variance for moving distance, are 26.7%, 32,5% respectively. Conclusionally, although the main factor of moving is patient level, hospital is also very important factor to make decision to go out-bound. It contributed to about 1/3 for hospital choice. And, when the one make decision, he will consider the hospital type, number of bed, and training institute in hospital level. Through this study to find out hospital factors affecting patient moving for medical service, it must be continued to find out which factors have more influence to choice the hospital among disease type after this.

선택실험법을 이용한 의약품 급여결정기준에 대한 선호분석 (Eliciting stated preferences for drugs reimbursement decision criteria in South Korea)

  • The purpose of this study is to elicit preference for drug listing decision criteria and to estimate the ICER threshold in South Korea using the discrete choice experiment (DCE) method. To collect the data, a DCE survey was administered to a subject sample either educated in the principle concepts of pharmacoeconomics or were decision makers within that field. Subjects chose between alternative drug profiles differing in four attributes: ICER, uncertainty, budget impact and severity of disease. The orthogonal and balanced designs were determined through computer algorithm to take the optimal set of drug profiles. The survey employed 15 hypothetical choice sets. A random effect probit model was used to analyze the relative importance of attributes and the probabilities of a recommendation response. Parameter estimates from the models indicated that three attributes (ICER, Impact, Severity of disease) influenced respondents' choice significantly(p${\pm}$0.001). In addition, each parameter displayed an expected sign. The Lower the ICER, the higher the probability of choosing that alternative. Respondents also preferred low levels of uncertainty and smaller impact on health service budget. They were also more likely to choose drugs for serious diseases rather than mild or moderate ones. Uncertainty however is not statistically significant. The ICER threshold, at which the probability of a recommendation was 0.5, was 29,000,000 KW/QALY in expert group and 46,500,000 KW/QALY in industry group. We also found that those in our sample were willing to accept high ICER to get medication for severe diseases. This study demonstrates that the cost-effectiveness, budget impact and severity of disease are the main reimbursement decision criteria in South Korea, and that DCE can be a useful tool in analyzing the decision making process where a variety of factors are considered and prioritized.

AHP 분석기법을 이용한 조리전공자의 대학 선택 영향 요인의 우선 순위 분석 - 충청도에 위치한 대학을 중심으로 - (The Analysis of the Priority Order in the Factors Influencing College Choice of Culinary Art Majors using AHP - Focusing on the Colleges and Universities in Chungcheong-do -)

  • The purpose of this study is to investigate the priority order in the factors influencing college choice of students who are majoring in culinary art in Chungcheong-do. For the study, we set the decision-making factors of upper hierarchies and nineteen bottom hierarchies based on the literature review and employed the analytical hierarchical process(AHP). As a result, the first considering factor among 4 upper hierarchies for college choice was the educational environments of the department(0.378). The next came in the order named as follows: college and university grade(0.263), the educational environments of colleges or universities(0.244), recommendation(0.115). The first considering factor among the educational environments of the department was the aptitude for the major(0.323). The first considering factor in college and university grade was the entrance competitive rate(0.397). The first considering factors among the educational environments of the colleges or universities were scholarships and tuition fees(0.325). The first considering factor in recommendation was the recommendation of a high school teacher(0.295). This results of this study will contribute to the development of colleges and universities under the turbulent changes of educational environments.
