Social media is considered a valuable platform for gathering and analyzing the collective and subconscious opinions of people in Internet and mobile environments, where they express, explicitly and implicitly, their daily preferences for brands and products. Extracting and tracking the various attitudes and concerns that people express through social media could enable us to categorize brands and decipher individuals' cognitive decision-making structure in their choice of brands. We investigate the cognitive network structure of consumers by building an inter-category map through the mining of big data. In so doing, we create an improved online recommendation model. Building on economic sociology theory, we suggest a framework for revealing collective preference by analyzing the patterns of brand names that users frequently mention in the online public sphere. We expect that our study will be useful for those conducting theoretical research on digital marketing strategies and doing practical work on branding strategies.

Today, digital shoppers express increasingly complex buying behavior. They can use multiple channels for shopping and also they can switch from one to another channel almost effortlessly, in the result of engaging in omnichannel shopping behavior. A few years ago, consumers were using brick and mortar stores to make their purchases. However, nowadays, they possess different digital devices (mobile and/or desktop) to search for different alternatives and to make a better shopping choice. These devices (mobile and desktop) are different and offer unique benefits to consumers. However, there has been very little research that has treated mobile and desktop devices separately. Perhaps this study is the pioneer when it comes to investigating the effect of regulatory focus (prevention vs. promotion) and chronotype (morning and evening person) on a sample of university students using desktop and mobile channels for their shopping. The findings from a sample of 312 digital consumers (mobile and/or desktop) confirmed that the desktop channel provides a greater fit for morning-type respondents and that the mobile channel offers better value for evening-type respondents in e-retail. Furthermore, promotion-focused shoppers favor the mobile channel, and prevention-focused shoppers favor the desktop channel. The new insights and contributions of this study provide a better understanding of digital consumers to help sellers to develop a more effective e-retail strategy.
The predictive utility of a damage model depends heavily on its particular choice of a damage variable, which serves as a macroscopic approximation in describing the underlying micromechanical processes of microdefects. In the case of spatially perfectly randomly distributed microcracks or microvoids in all directions, isotropic damage model is an appropriate choice, and scalar damage variables were widely used for isotropic or one-dimensional phenomenological damage models. The simplicity of a scalar damage representation is indeed very attractive. However, a scalar damage model is of somewhat limited use in practice. In order to entirely characterize the isotropic damage behaviors of damaged materials in multidimensional space, a system theory of isotropic double scalar damage variables, including the expressions of specific damage energy release rate, the coupled constitutive equations corresponding to damage, the conditions of admissibility for two scalar damage effective tensors within the framework of the thermodynamics of irreversible processes, was provided and analyzed in this study. Compared with the former studies, the theoretical formulations of double scalar damage variables in this study are given in the form of matrix, which has many features such as simpleness, directness, convenience and programmable characteristics. It is worth mentioning that the above-mentioned theoretical formulations are only logically reasonable. Owing to the limitations of time, conditions, funds, etc. they should be subject to multifaceted experiments before their innovative significance can be fully verified. The current level of research can be regarded as an exploratory attempt in this field.

Helicopters and rotary-wing vehicles encounter a wide variety of complex aerodynamic phenomena and these phenomena present substantial challenges for computational fluid dynamics(CFD) models. This investigation presents the rotor aerodynamic analysis items for the helicopter development and variety aerodynamic analysis methods to provide the better solution to researchers and helicopter developers between aerodynamic problems and numerical aerodynamic analysis methods. The numerical methods to make an analysis of helicopter rotor are as below - CFD Modelling : actuator disk model, BET model, fully rotor model,... - Grid : sliding mesh, chimera mesh / structure mesh, unstructure mesh,... - etc. : panel method periodic boundary, quasi-steady simulation, incompressible,... The choice of CFD methodology and the numerical resolution for the overall problem have been driven mostly by available computer speed and memory at any point in time. The combination of the knowledge of aerodynamic analysis items, available computing power and choice of CFD methods now allows the solution of a number of important rotorcraft aerodynamics design problems.
The purpose of this paper is to integrate various models of price formation and let the data choose the most proper model. After the data choose the proper model, one can analyze the price formation process and demand structures for fishery resources under the restriction of Korean fisheries regulations. This study suggests the integrated model including quasi-linear price formation model, Translog price formation model, AIDS price formation model and Lewbel price formation model as level variables. It also suggests another integrated model including AIDS price formation model, Rotterdam price formation model, Latinen-Theil price formation model and Neves price formation model as difference variables. The empirical results show that the AIDS price formation model is the most preferred in both level and difference variables of fishery resources. The estimated parameters show that all sample species have (-) sign of price flexibilities, thus following the law of demand. The scale flexibilities of all species are estimated as (-) sign, thus being adapted to the theory. The contribution and results are summarized as follows. First, the integrated model of fishery market demand has been developed and the data can choose the proper model without arbitrary choice of the researcher. Second, the fishery market demand structure could be analyzed in a way different from the ordinary demand analysis, which is based upon price flexibility and scale flexibility. Third, the integrated model for fishery resources can be used easily when catching restrictions are imposed by policies.
Water treatment process simulator is the tool for predicting sequential changes of water quality in a train of unit processes. This predicts the changes through governing equations that represent physicochemical performance of each unit processes with an initial and boundary conditions. Since there is no operational data for the design of a water treatment facility, there is no choice but to predict the performance of the facility by assuming initial and boundary conditions in virtual reality. Therefore, a simulator that can be applied in the design stage of a water treatment facility has no choice but to be built as a numerical analysis model of a deductive technique. In this study, we had conducted basic research on governing equations, inter-process data-flow, and simulator algorithms for the development of simulators. Lastly, this study will contribute to design engineering tool development research in the future by establishing the water treatment theory so that it can be programmed in a virtual world and suggesting a method for digital transformation of the water treatment process.
This study is a questionnaire about the lesson environment that radiation major students prefer in a non-face-to-face live online lesson environment for a total of 133 students, 65 second graders and 68 third graders who are enrolled in the department of radiology at a university located in the Seoul metropolitan area. And checked the satisfactory level by grade. The questionnaire consists of three categories: 1st real-time non-face-to-face lectures, 2nd professor lectures, and 3rd corona lectures. A total of 14 questions, with multiple choice and descriptive response methods. As an evaluation method, in the case of a multiple-choice question, the average was calculated using a 5-point Likert scale. As a result of conducting the independent sample T-test of the SPSS program, the response by grade was P > 0.05, and no significant result was shown by the contents of the questionnaire survey of the second grade. As for the lecture method of the department of radiology after the end of Covid-19 virus, it is better to promote face-to-face lessons in radiation training subjects and non-face-to-face real-time education in subjects centered on radiation theory.
Fashion stress is a pertinent aspect of modern consumer culture that has been underexplored in academic research. This study developed a conceptual framework of fashion stress and a multidimensional scale to measure consumers' fashion stress. The qualitative study included literature reviews on consumption stress, shopping stress, and consumer behavior, as well as focus group interviews to gain insight into various dimensions of fashion stress. NVivo 12.0 was used to analyze the qualitative data and identify core categories following the grounded theory methodology. The quantitative study involved a preliminary and a primary surveys to verify the validity and reliability of the fashion stress scale. A total of 220 questionnaires were used for data analysis. The results show that fashion stress consists of eight factors: care, shopping, fit, brand, financial, closet, style, and disposal. Choice difficulty plays a significant role in all factors of fashion stress. Moreover, shopping stress had a negative impact on impulse buying, while other factors such as fit, brand, closet, and disposal stress had a positive impact on impulse buying. Thus, fashion stress is a potential antecedent of impulsive consumer behavior. The results also confirm the validity and reliability of the scale. The fashion stress scale developed in this study offers researchers a valuable tool for assessing and understanding consumer experiences.
A key issue in the development and application of stated preference nonmarket valuation is the incorporation of unobserved heterogeneity in utility models. Two approaches to this task have dominated. The first is to include individual-specific characteristics into the estimated indirect utility functions. These characteristics are usually socioeconomic or demographic variables. The second employs generalized models such as random parameter logit or probit models to allow model parameters to vary across individuals. This paper examines a third approach: the inclusion of psychological or 'latent' variables such as general attitudes and behaviour-specific attitudes to account for heterogeneity in models of stated preferences. Attitudinal indicators are used as explanatory variables and as segmentation criteria in a choice modelling application. Results show that both the model significance and parameter estimates are influenced by the inclusion of the latent variables, and that attitudinal variables are significant factors for WTP estimates.
The authors utilized two contested perspectives on the use and non-use of ICTs, especially the Internet, to verify three assumptions of urban ghettos as fundamentally excluded from the ICT structure, ghetto people as behaving in the same way, and deficiency as the sole explanatory variable of their non-use. The first assumption that the urban ghettos would be fundamentally excluded from the urban ICT structure can be nullified by our finding about the prevalence of ICTs in that area, albeit apparent lower level of access to ICTs compared to that of the urban core. The second assumption that the urban ghetto residents would display the same information behaviors would be challenged by our finding that the availability and usages of the Internet would be hardly consistent by gender, age, occupation, family size, and locational characteristics. The third assumption that deficiency would capture the Internet non-use by ghetto residents was found very tenable but could be rivaled by the choice perspective that use or non-use is simply a result of situated choice. Theoretical and practical implications were suggested.
