This paper reviews updated criteria for a project management body of knowledge(PMBOK) : 2004. The updated PMBOK model is generally recognized as good practice. Specific criteria are suggested for a project management body of knowledge.

This paper examines the interpolation algorithms and error criteria using stateline based control architectures that is proposed in the University of British Columbia. The main purpose of this paper is checking the influences of jerk in error criteria and judging several interpolation algorithms that are used for positioning. The performance of the extended error criteria and interpolation algorithm are demonstrated by simulation. It is found that a slight improvement was achieved by applying jerk in the error checking criteria and that spline interpolation yields stable result.

Clients demands have been changed by construction circumstances such as high-technology, megaprojects, and the complexity of construction. Advanced foreign nations have already introduced and applied new project delivery systems (i.e, CM, DB, etc.) to deal with the change of such that. Korea has also promoted variation of the delivery systems for the progressive measure to the rapid changeable situation. Even though government has made his efforts as stated above, some clients have uniformly used those to public construction projects. That is because there are not selection criteria of project delivery system for clients. Therefore, this study presented the selection criteria of project delivery system based on project types in the public large construction projects. In addition, the study has verified the viability of the presented models through consultation with professionals and experts.

In this paper, criteria for better selection of a supercapacitor through EIS (Electrochemical Impedance Spectroscopy) experiments are presented. The performance characteristics of a supercapacitor are thoroughly analyzed in terms of losses and available energy to select the optimal product. The validity of the proposed criteria is demonstrated through the computer simulations and experiments on a fuel cell vehicle using a supercapacitor module with the FTP-72 urban dynamometer driving schedule.

This study introduces 2007 criteria of Malcom Baldridge National Quality Award (MBNQA) for performance excellence. Baldridge criteria is composed of the seven categories such as leadership, strategic planning, customer and market focus, measurement, analysis, and knowledge management, workforce focus, process management, and results. Moreover this paper proposes various integrated systems with MBNQA.

Objectives: To explore prevalently used types of medication error and the types of medication error which would be appropriate to be used in Korea. Methods: In depth literature review was performed to explore the mostly used types of medication error in the United States, Canada, Europe, Australia, and Japan. We intended to examine experts' view on the suitability of the types of medication error to be used in Korea. The types of medicati0on error were classified by activity criteria, severity criteria, process criteria, and responsible person criteria based on literature reviews. Results: According to the result of literature review, activity criteria was the most commonly used type of medication error. Ten experts in the area of patient-safety and medication error responded and the top two types of medication error which were appropriate and suitable to be used in Korea were severity criteria and activity criteria. Conclusion: Severity criteria and activity criteria could be recommended to be used as the standard types of medication error in Korea although there are other types of criteria such as process criteria and responsible person criteria.

This study examines the current status on the supply of community facilities based on the supply criteria of present welfare facilities. Analyzing satisfaction of residents about community facilities based on physical supply criteria. The study sets up the concept and proposed trend of the related studies and distinction through the examination of previous researches. Next, the present systematical supply criteria, was used to make indication in order to propose the promotion of improvement on supply criteria for community facilities. Multi dimensional analyzing system and the satisfaction level of the community facility was used to analyze the relationship between the two. The direction of policy improvement according to the analysis is as per the following. First, it is necessary to improve supply criteria of household to guarantee the minimal amount of space. Second, specification of the minimum distance of community facility to residential area in the complex is needed. Also, the presentation of bottom boundary line of the formation area size to expand the size up to minimal level of size is needed. Third, resident exercise facility supply criteria among the community facility supply criteria need to be improved from the number of household base to the size for each household base. Forth, resident resting facility criteria among the community facility supply criteria should be changed from the present criteria of one facility per five hundred households.

This paper introduces a procedure for free span and fatigue analysis of offshore pipelines per DNV-RP-F105, 2002. The new method includes the axial force and deflection load in pipelines. The screening criteria were established to calculate the allowable span lengths in the new design codes. The screening criteria allows a certain amount of vortex-induced vibration due to wave and current loading. However, the induced pipe stresses are very small and usually below the limit stresess of typical S-N curves. In contrast, the conventional criteria did not allow any vortex-induced vibration in the free span of pipelines. Thus, the screening criteria yields reduced allowable span lengths. A simplified procedure was established to calculate the fatigue damage due to long-term current distribution. The long-term current statistics was assumed with a 3-parameter Weibull distribution. The fatigue damage was estimated for the span lengths obtained from the screening criteria for various conditions. Sample calculations show the effect of axial force for various boundary conditions. Comparisons with conventional criteria are included.

In this report US and Korea civil and military simulator certification system is researched, and a plan for improvement is proposed. Korean simulator certification system should adopt FAA's system and improve upon it. Certification criteria should have a basis on FAA certification criteria and add military operation characteristics selectively. Flight test data, used as comparison criteria in certification, should be acquired in package during aircraft development or overseas acquisition. The establishment of certification system is expected to improve external credibility and improve competitiveness in overseas market.

Operation of human-centered robot, in general, facilitates the creation of new process that may potentially harm the human operators. Design of safety-guaranteed operation of human-centered robots is, therefore, important since it determines the ultimate outcomes of operations involving safety of human operators. This study discusses the application of geometric tolerance and head injury criteria to safety assessment of human-centered robotic operations. Examples show that extending "Work Area" has more significant effect on the uncertainty in safety than extending the system range in the presence of velocity control.
