  • The determination method of decursin and decursin angelate from Angelicae gigantis Radix, an important crude drug in oriental medicine, was developed and validated by a reverse-phase liquid chromatography. The decursin and decursin angelate, the structural isomer aspyranocoumarin each other, are the main organic constituents in Angelicae gigantis Radix. (omitted)

  • Coupling adjacent steel frame using elastic dampers fer control of response to low and moderate dynamic event is investigated in this paper. The complex modal superposition method is first used to determine dynamic characteristic, mainly modal damping ratio and modal frequency, of damper linked linear adjacent steel frame for fractical use. Dynamic response of steel frame linked by hydraulic-excitation method. (omitted)

  • The roughness effects are very important due to the presence of interacting asperities in mixed lubrication regime. An average Reynolds equation using flow factors is useful to determine the effects of surface roughness on mixed lubrication. In this study, the effect of kurtosis on flow factors is investigated using random rough surfaces generated numerically, The results show that flow factors are very sensitive to h/$\sigma$ according to the value of kurtosis in the partial lubrication regime.
