Study on the Anti-hypertension mechanism of Prunella Vulgaris based on entity grammar systems

  • Literatures and experimental studies have shown that Prunella has an effect on anti-hypertension, however, its components are complicated, so that it is still difficult to clear the specific roles of its various components in blood pressure regulation in. So we decide to systematically study the anti-hypertension mechanism of Prunella. We integrated multiple databases and constructed molecular interaction network between the chemical constituents of Prunella Vulgaris and hypertension based on entity grammar systems model. The network has 262 nodes and 802 edges. Then we infer the interactions between chemical compositions and disease targets to clarify the anti-hypertension mechanism. Finally, we found Prunella could influence hypertension by regulating apoptosis, cell proliferation, blood vessel development and vasoconstriction, etc. Thus this study provides reference for drug development and compatibility, and also gives guidance for health care at a certain extent.

  • A solid tungsten target was used at the China Spallation Neutron Source (CSNS) with 100 kW proton beam power. To improve the lifetime, hot isostatic pressing (HIP) process was selected to bond tantalum cladding with tungsten plates. Radioactive isotope 182Ta, an activation product of tantalum, was found in the cooling water after a period of operation, however, no radioactive isotopes of 187W was found, which shows the tantalum layer remained mostly intact. The CSNS Target-1 had been operating safely for three years and was replaced by Target-2 in August 2020.

  • This paper analyzes the requisites and the characteristics of the professionalization of modern Chinese Medicine. The requisites of the professionalization are the standardization of knowledge, the settlement of license system, the development of occupational ideology, and the strengthening of the organization. The research findings are as follows. First, Chinese Medicine choose the people-oriented development strategy. Second, The professionalization of Chinese Medicine was propelled by the government. Third, the sequence of the professionalization of Chinese Medicine was 1) the development of occupational ideology, 2) the standardization of knowledge, 3) the strengthening of the organization, and 4) the settlement of license system. The order of the professionalization of Chinese Medicine is different from that of Western Medicine. Fourth, in the process of the professionalization, modern Chinese Medicine partly employs the traditional face-to-face education.

The effect of ancient Chinese philosophy on Chinese clothing culture

  • Ancient Chinese philosophy has had a profound influence on Chinese clothing culture. The researchers reviewed five ancient Chinese philosophical thoughts on Chinese clothing culture. The results show that they had different view of point. The Confucianism advocated "being elegant and refined in manner". Dong Zhongshu believed "Interaction between heaven and mankind is the center of Dress rules". Mohist insisted "Clothing should meet warm first, and then seek for beauty ". Taoism believed "Although a gentleman wears coarse clothes, he has gem in his chest". Legalism believed "Clothing should focus on quality rather than decoration". These philosophy thoughts all have had a profound influence on Chinese clothing culture.

잇사매와 함사매의 名稱

  • This study is concerned with the names of is sa mai(잇사매) and ham sa mai(함사매). Origins and meanings of these terms were traced and examined. Some significant findings can be summarized as follows : Korean word is sa mai(잇사매) was a compound word. Korean character is (잇) is derived from Chinese character i, and sa mai(사매) in Korean means sleeves 神 in Chinese character. The character ham in Ham sa mai(함사매) is its origin in Chinese : Korean character ham was Korean pronounciation of the Chinese character, han. ham sa mai is a compound word of ham(함) (Korean), (han ) (Chinese) and sa mai(사매) sleeves(Korean). Thus, first characters of is(잇) in is sa mai(잇사매) and ham(함) in ham sa mai(함사매) are originated from Chinese, where as the word sa mai in the end of is sa mai and ham sa mai is pure Korean. Both character i and ham(han, Chinese) in Chinese means a jaw. Thus, both is sa mai(잇사매) and ham sa mai(함사매) means “jawed sleeves”. That is long and wide round sleeves with narraw wrists.

Acculturative Stresses and Adjustment elements of Chinese students' studying in Korea (중국인 유학생의 대학생활문화에서의 스트레스와 적응)

  • The purpose of this study is to identify stresses and adjustment elements of Chinese students in Korea. The data analysis was conducted by qualitative method based on interviews with sixteen Chinese students as a focus group by the help of two interpreters. The results were as follows: first, stresses of Chinese students were from 'cultural difference', 'language', and 'financial', 'educational' and 'psychological stress', and 'university culture in Korea'. Those categories were divided into several sub categories. Second, ten helpful elements Chinese students could adapt themselves to Korean university life were such as 'Help of Korean professor and friends', 'Chinese friends' help', 'English-oriented lecture', 'Cultural affinity to Korea', 'Fluency in Korean language', 'Integration to Korean culture', 'Pride in Chinese culture', 'Individual effort', 'Satisfaction with educational environment', 'Perception of self-growth'.

A Survey Study on the Outline of Chinese Seafarers' Education System and the Mechanism of Chinese Overseas Seafarers' Employment (중국의 선원교육제도의 개요와 선원송출조직에 관한 조사연구)

  • Chinese seafarers have begun to be employed by foreign shipowners since 14979. Recognizing the benefits of overseas seafarers employment , Chinese goverment has implemented policy for seafarers' education and supply. Over the past two decades, the goverment has expanded and improved seafarer training facilities. As a result a number of seafarers have been educated, who are now available for employment on Chinese and foreign flag vessels. In 1995, about 20,000 Chinese seafarers served on foregin shipowner's vessels and the total foreign currency they earned was approximately US $300 million. This paper aims to describe the education system for Chinese seafarers and the mechanism of Chinese overseas seafarers employment and to highlight main problems occurred in the mechanism of their overseas employment. It takes the fact-finding research method with literature survey and interview.

Comsumer analysis for Korean agro-food in China (한국 농식품에 대한 중국 소비자의 인식 분석)

  • Recently, there is the huge interest to promote the export of Korean agro-food to Chinese market. However, small number of papers analyze the Chinese consumer to find the strategy for launching Korean agro-food in Chinese market. The purpose of this paper is to analyze Chinese consumer for Korean agro-food in Chine. Survey analysis was conducted in 4 big city (Beijing, Shanghai, Guangzhou, and Tsingtao) for this research. The results of studies present a few findings: First, many Chinese consumers prefer Korean agro-food. Second, among big cities, Beijing shows the highest level of preference for Korean agro-food, Third, Chinese consumers can pay higher price for Korean agro-food, Fourth, Chinese consumer usually buy small amount of agro-food. Fifth, the image of Korea is also important to promote the exportation of Korean agro-food to Chinese market.

Cross-Cultural Management in China

  • Purpose - This paper discusses cross-cultural management (CCM) in China and how its business students get prepared by university cross-cultural management courses for an international market. Research design, data, and methodology - It was therefore decided to do an online content analysis looking at CCM courses offered by a number of Chinese universities first, and second to conduct a quantitative survey on CCM courses as well as topics among Chinese undergraduate business students at a large Eastern Chinese university. Results - From fundamental aspects, seven Chinese cultural standards emerge which highly influence the behaviour of the Chinese. There is a tendency to imply the integration of not only local but also cross cultural issues in academic management courses. Besides Hong Kong, there are currently 17 Chinese universities and schools accredited by the Association to Advance Collegiate Schools of Business (AACSB) that explicitly requires cross-cultural management competencies in undergraduate and graduate degree programmes. In addition, the study confirmed that two-third of the sample (Chinese undergraduate business students) had taken cross-cultural management courses. Conclusions - The results of this research have made it clear that Chinese universities and schools are aware of the importance of cross-cultural management competencies.
