Objective: To assess the effects of iterative model reconstruction (IMR) on image quality for demonstrating non-calcific high-risk plaque characteristics of coronary arteries. Materials and Methods: This study included 66 patients (53 men and 13 women; aged 39-76 years; mean age, 55 ± 13 years) having single-vessel disease with predominantly non-calcified plaques evaluated using prospective electrocardiogram-gated 256-slice CT angiography. Paired image sets were created using two types of reconstruction: hybrid iterative reconstruction (HIR) and IMR. Plaque characteristics were compared using the two algorithms. The signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) and contrast-to-noise ratio (CNR) of the images and the CNR between the plaque and adjacent adipose tissue were also compared between the two reformatted methods. Results: Seventy-seven predominantly non-calcified plaques were detected. Forty plaques showed napkin-ring sign with the IMR reformatted method, while nineteen plaques demonstrated napkin-ring sign with HIR. There was no statistically significant difference in the presentation of positive remodeling, low attenuation plaque, and spotty calcification between the HIR and IMR reconstructed methods (all p > 0.5); however, there was a statistically significant difference in the ability to discern the napkin-ring sign between the two algorithms (χ² = 12.12, p < 0.001). The image noise of IMR was lower than that of HIR (10 ± 2 HU versus 12 ± 2 HU; p < 0.01), and the SNR and CNR of the images and the CNR between plaques and surrounding adipose tissues on IMR were better than those on HIR (p < 0.01). Conclusion: IMR can significantly improve image quality compared with HIR for the demonstration of coronary artery and atherosclerotic plaques using a 256-slice CT.

The purpose of the study is to analyze the effects of customer satisfaction verses eco-friendly agricultural products (ingredients) awareness factors in luxury hotel Chinese restaurants on hotel image and customer loyalty (repurchase intention). To analyze what kind of effects of customer satisfaction verses eco-friendly agricultural products (ingredients) awareness factors in Chinese restaurants have on hotel image and behavior intention (loyalty), the study identified eco-friendly ingredients awareness factors. The study aims to suggest implications on service strategies and marketing strategies in luxury hotel Chinese restaurants based on the influence of customer satisfaction on hotel image and behavior intention (loyalty) using the identified factors.

On the basis of comprehensive analysis and summarization of the image fusion algorithms provided by PCI Geomatica software, deficiencies in image fusion processing functions of this software are put forwarded in this paper. This limitation could be improved by further developing PCI Geomatica on the user’ side. Five effective algorithms could be added into PCI Geomatica. In this paper, the detailed description of how to customize and further develop PCI Geomatica by using Microsoft Visual C++ 6.0, PCI SDK Kit and GDB technique is also given. Through this way, the remote sensing imagery fusion functions of PCI Geomatica software can be extended.

This article will introduce the changes of the historiography of the Chinese medicine which have been made during the last several decades. These will be described with the changes in the image of the Chinese medicine that has been occupied in our mind. We regard Chinese medicine as a rational knowledge system which is based on the theory of Yin-Yang and Five phases. Therefore we draw a dear line of demarcation between Chinese medicine and irrational cure means such as religious prayer, charms and folk remedies which have no theoretical background. We also think the medical lineages continue virtually uninterrupted over the whole time of the history of Chinese medicine that began from Huangdineijing(皇帝內徑) and Shanghanlun(傷寒論). And we consider Chinese medicine as a sort of science, and suppose there has been one universal and homogeneous medical system in the mainland China. This image, however, has been changing rapidly. These changes come from the join of externalists who were trained as historian not physician, for studying the history of Chinese medicine, and the methodological innovations of historiography which was influenced by the methodologies of anthropology, social history, cultural history and the discourse of postmodemism.

Purpose - This objective of this study is to analyze the factors that impact Chinese consumers' purchasing intent for high-tech products. The study examines smart phones'features, Chinese personal consumer characteristics, and social influence. Research design, data, and methodology - The study employed survey data based on 200 questionnaires in principal Chinese cites between October and December 2011. SPSS 17.0 was employed to analyze the data used to test the hypotheses the analysis results confirmed some hypotheses proposed. Results - Hypothesis 1, Hypothesis 4, and Hypothesis 7 proposing that utilization, social image, and attractiveness, respectively, of smart phone elements influence the Chinese consumers' purchasing intent are supported. Conclusions - This study found the factors that impact purchasing intent for high-tech products among Chinese consumers, with some factors like social image, attractiveness, and utilization playing critical roles; however, hypotheses proposing factors such as ease of use, pleasantness, personal innovativeness, and compatibility were rejected. In future, more research focusing on the elements of smart phones is required.

Recently, electronic mail(E-mail) is the most popular communication manner in our society. In such conventional environments, spam increasingly congested in Internet. In this paper, Chinese spam could be effectively detected using text and image features. Using text features, keywords and reference templates in Chinese mails are automatically selected using genetic algorithm(GA). In addition, spam containing a promotion image is also filtered out by detecting the text characters in images. Some experimental results are given to show the effectiveness of our proposed method.

The usual technique of correction and positioning of film image of RS require enough control points to provide the geographic coordinate. Some distortion and error caused by earth curvature and terrain and photograph tilt can't be eliminated by these ways. In this paper a set of technique of systemic correction and positioning of remote sensing image base on orbit parameter is described, some questions in its realization and their solvent also included.

In this paper, theoretical channels model of Synthetic Aperture Radiometer is presented. Based on this model, how amplitude imbalance, phase imbalance and mutual coupling between the different channels effect brightness temperature image retrieving is analyzed. The computer simulation results are also presented to find out the cause of the along-track streaks usually appeared in the retrieved brightness temperature image. In addition, a new system calibration approach is introduced to solve this problem.

With Wenhai big data SaaS cloud platform.2.0, this study analyzed data of 135 news reports relating to Chinese city Chongqing from Yonhap News Agency and ten South Korean mainstream newspapers from May 1^st, 2018 to September 30^th, 2022. Under the framework of Frame Theory, this research conducted data mining and analysis on how Korean mainstream media shaped city image of Chongqing, what kind of city images were shaped from dimensions of politics, economy, society, culture & sports as well as tourism and whether they are consistent with those in Chinese media. At the last part, discussions and suggestions was made.

Recently, IP (Intellectual Property) films have attracted much attention in the Chinese film market. This raises the need to take intellectual property films seriously in academic terms. The purpose of this study is to explore the effective methodology of content development based on intellectual property by analyzing the recent trend of Chinese intellectual property films. Recently, the driving force of the development of Chinese intellectual property films was analyzed, and the trend of Chinese intellectual property films was analyzed. The results of this study criticized the fragmented problems caused by the development of intellectual property films. This study made practical and academic suggestions to contribute to the healthy development of the intellectual property film market.
