China is the largest e-commerce market in the world. The Chinese online retail market is almost 40% larger than the US, and together these markets account for more than 55% of worldwide e-commerce. The Korea China FTA is likely to facilitate e-commerce activity between the two countries, as well as trade in the goods and services that enable e-commerce. Korean consumer goods can enjoy the benefits of the FTA because it has a competitive advantage in the Chinese market in terms of technology and quality. The purpose of this study is to examine legal issues of e-commerce chapters of the Korea China FTA and policy implications. Results of the study show that several implications based on the export vitalization of cross-border e-commerce of Korean products are offered. The Korean government needs to do the following: prepare for the subsequent negotiation of the e-commerce agreement, prepare for the classification issue of electronic transmissions, require mutual recognition of electronic authentication and electronic signatures, prepare for e-commerce dispute settlement mechanism and establish of strategies for the export vitalization of e-commerce.
China draws lots of attention from many multinational corporations all over the world as one of the biggest market in the world. Due to the huge territory and explosive population, it is considered that China has endless potentiality. Moreover, since China joined the WTO, China opens its market, developing the policies for opening of its market. Based on the enormous purchasing power, China gets another attention in industry of electronic commerce. With the development and expansion of information technologies, China's electronic commerce has rapidly developed. Since the market of electronic commerce in China is in the developing stage, there is still a big market for electronic commerce and also Chinese government has made much effort in order to develop the industry of electronic commerce. However, in spite of these circumstances, the Chinese electronic commerce industry is far behind the developed countries. There could be many reasons for slow development in industry of electronic commerce and the main purpose of this paper is to discuss these reasons. First of all, the current status of electronic commerce industry in China will be analysed, and then, main problems of electronic commerce industry will be discussed in order to find out the reasons why the industry of electronic commerce cannot develop as much as it is anticipated. It is expected that this paper can contribute to understanding electronic commerce industry in China, and it will be helpful for companies which have a plan to extend their businesses in China.
With the rapid growth of e-logistics in the global logistics industry, it is important to gain further insight into this growing segment of Chinese logistics industry. The current situation in China consists of many small and medium-sized logistics firms. Furthermore, e-logistics is still relatively undeveloped in the majority of the Chinese logistics companies and presently there are still many problems unresolved. This paper attempted to review the concepts and theoretical background of e-logistics systems from previous studies. After acknowledging the essential issues related to e-logistics systems, a research model based on the theory acceptance model was designed and tested. The key factors to the e-logistics system (reliability, maintainability, software, facility and transportation) were validated through the modeling and testing process. Included in the modelling and testing process are other related factors of e-logistics process, logistics information system and added value as dependent variables in this model. The results of this study confirm that the e-logistics Process is affected by transportation, while maintainability and software factors influence logistics information system. reliability, maintainability, facility and transportation are significant factors associated with added value. This research aimed to provide theoretical and practical contribution to Chinese logistics companies and to give some insights into e-logistics system as a whole. The paper also provided some useful theoretical implication and practical guidelines for the development of e-logistics system in the chinese logistics industry.

Cross-border e-commerce has emerged as a crucial force in stabilizing China's foreign trade, driving the transformation and upgrade of China's foreign trade, and contributing to global economic development and stability. As a result, promoting the high-quality development of cross-border e-commerce has become a common challenge within the Chinese industry. However, with the rapid growth of cross-border e-commerce, it faces new phenomena and challenges, such as a mix of quality, fierce competition, and price competition. Brands serve as distinguishing markers for identifying entities, and brand building is a prudent choice for achieving high-quality development in cross-border e-commerce. This article utilizes brand theory, employing a combined qualitative and quantitative approach, with a specific focus on key elements within the operations of cross-border e-commerce enterprises. Through an analysis of the key elements influencing the formation and development of brands within the internal operations of Chinese cross-border e-commerce enterprises, it investigates their internal formation mechanisms and assesses the significance of these critical factors in influencing brand formation. The research process is based on data from overseas consumers, conducting empirical analysis, ultimately providing certain guidance for brand development in cross-border e-commerce enterprises.
In recent years, C2C e-commerce has become more and more popular in China. Chinese C2C buyers use an instant messaging more commonly during transactions compared to other countries, which seems to be an interesting phenomenon. Based on the Chinese market, this study aims to examine the role of instant messenger in the C2C e-commerce context and to find how it impacts buyers' purchase intentions. In addition to use of instant messenger, we brought in two antecedents of purchase intention-trust for vendor and customer satisfaction-to establish a theoretical research model. Through an online questionnaire survey, we tested and analyzed the research model and its related hypotheses. Structural equation modeling was used to analyze the data, and the results indicated that use of instant messenger did not directly influence purchase intention but had positive effects both on trust for vendor and customer satisfaction, which in turn influenced purchase intention. In conclusion, we discussed the research findings and suggested some implications for researchers and practitioners.

Predefined keywords like "live commerce," "live-stream shopping," "consumer purchase intention," and "China" produced a large number of possibly pertinent research in the first search. Results: This study has delved into the profound effects of live commerce on consumer purchase intention, with a specific focus on the dynamic Chinese market. This study has identified four primary outcomes that support the revolutionary potential of live commerce: increased product engagement, significant social influences, dynamic pricing tactics, and the establishment of trust and credibility. Conclusions: Finally, the study provides live commerce practitioners with valuable insights, advising them on maximizing these impacts to increase consumer buy intention. In summary, this study offers helpful information to companies and marketers who want to take advantage of live commerce as a powerful tool for connecting with Chinese customers and increasing sales.
The economic growth in China takes the step of the Internet/Mobile revolution together. The high internet penetration provided the opportunity to increase the e-commerce market with fast speed. However, due to imbalance of the growth speed and preparation, the problems on various infrastructures and regulations were generated. Therefore, this study investigateed the current status of e-commerce market and sub-categories. This study also discussed about the problem of e-commerce logistics system, consumer protection, R&D investment, and human resources and provided the considerations for the future improvement. Finally, this study diagnosed the mobile payment and internet finance market and new e-commerce tax regulation, and then suggested institutional implications for the international standardization. This study is meaningful to provide the first implication to the Korean exporters after Chinese government had announced market open strategy for the 5 year e-commerce development plan.
This study aims to identify the determinants on the implementation level of e-Trade of Chinese exporters in Shandong Province, China. From the review of previous studies, a research model and six hypotheses were set up and tested by the multiple regression analysis with total 127 effective survey data. Among the company characteristics, the company size was statistically significant to the utilization range and the utilization level. But unlike former studies in Korea, the utilization range showed the (-) mark. On the other hand, the innovative attitude of CEO didn't show statistical significance to both the utilization range and the utilization level. Among the information characteristics, the IT infrastructure was not statistically significant to both the utilization range and the utilization level. On the other hand, the education and training of technical personnel didn't have a significant effect on the utilization range, but it had a statistically significant effect on the utilization level. Among the external environment, the intensity of competition had a statistically significant effect on both the utilization range and the utilization level. In summary, the implementation level of e-Trade of Chinese exporters in Shandong Province, China is still behind that of Korea. But the fact that the small and medium-sized Chinese exporters are using Internet more actively than large companies suggests some implications for those of Korea.
