The article purpose is 'Reading Chinese translation text as a Korean integrated education for Chinese students'. Although number of foreign students has increased rapidly to the economic growth of Korea, the influence of Korean Wave, and the popularity of Korean popular culture like K-pop at domestic universities but the problems of their curriculum have been found in many places. Korean literary education through novel text has an important place in Korean studies, but literary education is often excluded in Korean language education as a foreign language education. Chinese students already have background knowledge of Korean translation novels through Chinese novels. They can get the learning effect as the Korean language study. Second, they can compared with Korean national violence and Chinese national violence through 'Red Revolution' and understand about Korean-Chinese understanding of the times, social and cultural phenomena, Third, they are able to study the theory of literature itself. also It was the educational purpose pursued by the humanities. Chinese students develop their Korean language skills by studying the Brothers which are translated into Korean, and we can see the similarities and differences of national violence by comparing Korea's '4.19' with China's 'Cultural Revolution' After comparing people, background, dynamics of the space where they are located, we can raise awareness of the historical and social problems of both countries. It is possible to study subjects' memories of space, change of local meaning, the formation of urban space or individual space in the text in the specific space where national violence occurs. In this way, the method of learning Korean integrated education through Brothers of the Chinese translation novels makes an opportunity to look at national violence in the Korean-Chinese space of the 1960s and 1970s. It has a subjective perspective from subordination to the nationality of the modern nation-state. This is an educational effect that can be obtained through reading a Chinese translation novel as a Korean language integrated education.
Background: Cultivated ginseng is often introduced as a substitute and adulterant of Russian wild ginseng due to its lower cost or misidentification caused by similarity in appearance with wild ginseng. The aim of this study is to develop a simple and reliable method to differentiate Russian wild ginseng from cultivated ginseng. Methods: The mitochondrial NADH dehydrogenase subunit 7 (nad7) intron 3 regions of Russian wild ginseng and Chinese cultivated ginseng were analyzed. Based on the multiple sequence alignment result, a specific primer for Russian wild ginseng was designed by introducing additional mismatch and allele-specific polymerase chain reaction (PCR) was performed for identification of wild ginseng. Real-time allele-specific PCR with endpoint analysis was used for validation of the developed Russian wild ginseng single nucleotide polymorphism (SNP) marker. Results: An SNP site specific to Russian wild ginseng was exploited by multiple alignments of mitochondrial nad7 intron 3 regions of different ginseng samples. With the SNP-based specific primer, Russian wild ginseng was successfully discriminated from Chinese and Korean cultivated ginseng samples by allele-specific PCR. The reliability and specificity of the SNP marker was validated by checking 20 individuals of Russian wild ginseng samples with real-time allele-specific PCR assay. Conclusion: An effective DNA method for molecular discrimination of Russian wild ginseng from Chinese and Korean cultivated ginseng was developed. The established real-time allele-specific PCR was simple and reliable, and the present method should be a crucial complement of chemical analysis for authentication of Russian wild ginseng.
This study examined the effects of leisure satisfaction and hope on korean university adjustment of Chinese students. The data were collected from 361 chinese students among three universities located in Chungnam, Seoul and Incheon. Frequency, reliability, mean comparison, correlation, and hierarchical regression analysis. The results were as follows. First, chinese students in the language training group was better in the Korean university adjustment than those in each group of undergraduate and graduate students. The chinese students who stayed less than six months in Korea were better in the Korean university adjustment than those who stayed more than 6 months. Second, there was the significant positive relationship among chinese students' korean university adjustment, leisure satisfaction, and hope. Third, leisure satisfaction and hope significantly influenced korean university adjustment of chinese students. Among them, leisure satisfaction influenced most. korean university adjustment.
BACKGROUND/OBJECTIVES: The consumption of dietary supplements has shown an increase among young people in their 20s. We aimed to compare the use of dietary supplements and related factors between Chinese international and Korean college students living in South Korea. SUBJECTS/METHODS: We conducted online surveys of 400 Chinese international students and 452 Korean college students from January to February 2021. We analyzed the factors related to the use of dietary supplements by these students using multi-group structural equation modeling and logistic regression analysis. RESULTS: Approximately 65% of the Chinese international students and 93% of the Korean college students consumed dietary supplements at least once in the year preceding the survey. The common types of dietary supplements consumed by both groups of students were vitamin and mineral supplements, Lactobacillus products, and red ginseng products. Structural equation modeling showed that perception of the consumption of dietary supplements by family and friends positively influenced attitude toward dietary supplements. This effect was higher for Korean college students than for Chinese international students (P < 0.01). Attitude toward dietary supplements positively influenced their use, and this effect was higher for Chinese international students than for Korean college students (P < 0.001). Logistic regression analysis showed that the use of dietary supplements by Chinese international students was significantly associated with age, self-reported health status, interest in health, perception of and attitude toward dietary supplements, and length of residence in South Korea. Among Korean college students, it was associated with exercise frequency and attitude toward dietary supplements. CONCLUSION: This study showed significant differences in the use of dietary supplements and related factors between Chinese international and Korean college students. Therefore, nutrition education programs on dietary supplements need to have differentiated content for each group. Such differences also suggest that the industry should consider the relevant characteristics of college students while developing and marketing dietary supplements.
Objectives : The purpose of this study was to evaluate the actual state of oral health behaviors of Chinese students studying in Korea to promote their oral health and provide useful reference materials for expanding dental care services and improving relevant systems. Methods : This research was based on self-filling survey which 413 chinese students in Chungbuk in Korea from April 1 to July 15, 2011. Surveyed data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, $x^2$-test, t-test and one-way ANOVA using SPSS WIN 12.0 program and its signification level was 0.05. The following shows the results of this study. Results : In the event of those who didn't use oral hygiene supplies, the largest group didn't use the devices since they didn't know about them well or they didn't need to use. Regarding links between experience of using oral hygiene devices and concern for oral health, those who used oral hygiene devices showed more interest in oral health(p<.001). Conclusions : Accordingly it now is required to develop a more specific and systematic oral health program and to offer administrative assistance for foreign students during their stay in Korea.

International public opinion on King Sejong Institute (KSI) is one of the most important factors influencing its overseas development as a worldwide non-profit educational service organization. China is one of the overseas strategic regions for KSI to spread the Korean Language. This paper intends to assess KSI's current public opinion environment in China. With content analysis of 87 news reports related to KSI in WeChat Official Accounts from 2014 to 2022, this paper attempts to assess the public opinion environment of KSI in China. In this paper, we show that the Chinese media' s current attention to KSI is generally lacking. The current reports focus more on activity narrations, and the main report factors come from local media and universities' oncampus news, which have relatively weak dissemination power and limited influences. On one side, the reasons are related to the characteristics of Chinese media, while the KSI establishment method in China also accounts for a lot. Therefore, it is necessary for the KSI to timely adjust the cooperation mode and publicity strategies according to the Chinese political and cultural characteristics to promote the sustainable development of KSI in China by continuously improving the public opinion environment.
The rapid change in the university environment due to the decrease in the school-age population calls for enhancing the competitiveness of China-related departments. In this paper, the university's competitiveness and dropout rate were studied in combination with various factors such as geographical location of Chinese-related departments set up at national universities, convergence with other departments, competition rate for entrance exams, scholarships, and employment rate that have a comprehensive impact on student satisfaction. In particular, the dropout rate presented research results that could help universities strengthen their competitiveness in China-related departments, such as by differentiating customized academic strategies according to the atmosphere of elimination through multiple regression analysis and quantile analysis. We hope this thesis will be the basis for policymaking and judgment in China-related departments.

Relying on disciplinary competitions to enhance college students' innovation and entrepreneurship is one of the specific paths to explore the reform of innovation and entrepreneurship education in colleges and universities. This paper conducts an empirical study on the practice of disciplinary competitions among Chinese university students, the problems of innovation and entrepreneurship education in Chinese universities and the impact of disciplinary competitions on innovation and entrepreneurship among Chinese university students, using university students in Chinese universities as the respondents. The data collected online and offline were analysed using SPSS26 statistical software. The results of the analysis show that Chinese university students show a high level of interest in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and that there are some differences in the level of interest in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions among university students of different academic levels. More than half of Chinese university students have participated in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions and the initiative of participating in innovation and entrepreneurship competitions varies by grade. The biggest problem facing innovation and entrepreneurship education in schools is the lack of professional innovation and entrepreneurship teachers, followed by the lack of guidance on innovation and entrepreneurship-related policies, and the unreasonable reward system, which makes teachers and students less motivated to innovate and entrepreneurship. Through one-dimensional linear regression analysis, it is found that the degree of attention to innovation and entrepreneurship among college students affects college students' entrepreneurial awareness and entrepreneurial practice; the degree of initiative of college students' innovation and entrepreneurship competition affects college students' entrepreneurial effect; and the degree of initiative of college students' innovation and entrepreneurship competition affects college students' entrepreneurial practice.
The purpose of this study was to find ways to increase sales and enhance of the competitiveness of the Korean fashion brands expanding into the Chinese market by conducting a survey of the Chinese female students in order to gather data regarding their preferences and features so that clothes that are more suitable for Chinese women can be designed. For this study, a survey was conducted to 305 students attending universities or language schools located in the metropolitan areas near Seoul who had exposure to Korean clothes. The study results can be summed up as follows: According to the analysis, the Chinese students preferred comfortable, practical, and casual styles. And the analysis shows that they prefer achromatic monotonous colors rather than vivid colors or splendid and complex patterns. The students felt that Korean clothes reflected the trends very well, and they also showed very high satisfaction with the design. The most common way of gathering information for their clothing purchase was through Internet search and magazine advertisements. The survey showed that the biggest strength of the Korean fashion brands was their ability to reflect the fast changing fashion trends in their designs, and they were very much satisfied with their diverse designs and colors. Among the domestic fashion brands, they prefer domestic SPA brands such as MIXXO, SPAO, and 8IGHT SECONDS.
This study examines the contents and characteristics of 'Double First Class University Plan', which is conceived by Chinese government in 2015, following the current 211, 985 projects to develop comprehensively a group of elite Chinese universities and individual university departments into world class universities and disciplines by the end of 2050. For this study, we used the literature analysis method and collected various policy documents, research papers, newspapers and books published in China regarding this plan. First, this study looks at the development process, performance and limitations of 211, 985 projects. Second, it defines the concept of the world class university mentioned in China, and looks at the objectives and highlights of the plan. Finally, this study summarizes the characteristics of 'Double First Class University Plan' and the results such as focusing on the university's tradition and characteristic, cultivation and attraction of human resources, intensive financial support, and the introduction of a competitive system. Based on the results, this study proposes several implications such as establishing and implementing long-term and comprehensive higher education policies, inducing local government participation and support, focusing on fostering talents and developing disciplines, and putting emphasis on Korean characteristics in developing world class universities.
