However, as the importance of right brain is widely accepted, various approaches on education in creativity have been tried. With the advance in the research on the brain, it has been known that the left brain and the right brain are closely linked to work effectively while they are specialized to some functionalities differently. We developed an educational content exploiting Chinese characters to facilitate the balanced development of both brain. Making categorizations from Yin-yang and five elements of the universe, it consists of four stages. The first stage is to stimulate the brain with visual scandal. The second one, third one, and the fourth one are to develop the right brain, left brain, and both brain respectively. Through expert interview, the potential of the developed content as an efficacious method for brain development was verified.

  • The thoracic diaphragm is a muscle tissue separating the thorax and abdomen of a man. In "Somun(素問)", Gyeok(鬲) means diaphragm. Its meaning comes from Gyeok(鬲), a tripod boiler with three separated parts for cooking. In "Yeongchu", Gyeok(膈) is a pictophonetic character which takes the place of Gyeok(鬲). The different uses of the two words probably does not come from the original writing, but result from longtime transformation.

  • In 1946, many native korean mathematical terms are coined newly by the ministry of education of USAMGIK(the United States Army Military Government in Korea) through referring to the opinions of various circles. In native korean mathematical terms created at the time, many of them are coined, either by using native korean words corresponding to the meaning of chines characters, or by abbreviating newly coined native korean mathematical terms. However, in less than 20 years, about half of native korean mathematical terms made in 1946~1947 has been went back to chines character mathematical terms, and most of those chines character mathematical terms has been used up to now from then. Although, in the teaching and learning of mathematics, the discomfort of chinese characters mathematical terms is pointed out and it is claimed that the use of native korean mathematical terms is helpful, it is not everything to hurry to use native korean mathematical terms. Attempts to convert chinese characters mathematical terms into native korean mathematical terms should be prudent. When a certain native korean mathematical term is used, if it must be used only because it is a native korean mathematical term, then the term has no choice but to fail. In this paper, we propose the following three implications as conclusions for the successful use of native korean mathematical terms in this viewpoint. First, attempts to coin native korean mathematical terms should be continued. Second, it is necessary to identify the survival power of well-preserved native korean mathematical terms. Third, it is necessary to identify the failure factors of native korean mathematical terms which does not survive today.

  • The Chinese classic 'The Great Learning' presents a guideline in which direction we should go for the character education and the realization of a just society. It conveys the message, 'Everyone must remain at the level of goodness for our community based on training our own mind and body.' Goodness is a generic concept that means universal truth in the right direction. This study aims to present the direction of communication education for how everyone should stay in goodness. Communication education about goodness could be conducted as follows. Based on the theory of interpersonal communication and persuasive communication, first the abstract concept of goodness is understood, brainstorming and schema activity for the good are performed for true communication, and then the teaching and learning method combining debate, flipped learning, and writing could be utilized. It is difficult to provide communication education with the message of goodness with students who have grown up on the basis of comparatively cramming education. However, through communication using discussion, a paradigm shift in education will take place, and it will not only help form human relationships, but also recognize the importance of the meaning of the community in the society in which we live, and ultimately it will help foster character.

Therefore a study is required to analyze whether the students correctly understand the scientific terms. The associative method was used to evaluate the comprehensibility of the terms. The scientific terms in this study are selected in the textbook of science in the junior high school were selected. The frequency of the same associative word responsed and the frequency of no response from the selected students for given scientific terms were measured for 9 different groups. The terms which are not used in the daily life, especially for the terms with chinese character or abstract terms turn out to be difficult for the students to understand. It is purposed that the instructor should remember the importance of understanding the scientific term and carefully explain them to the science class.

  • No language can be separated from other languages and exist independently. When a language comes in contact with a foreign culture, they continuously affect each other and bring changes. Hallyu boom(Korean wave), which was derived from the emergence of K-drama and K-pop due to rapid developments in global scientific technologies and digitization after the 90's, affected the Chinese language. As a result, neologisms that are derived from the Korean language are being commonly used for making exchanges and becoming social buzzwords. Neologisms derived from Korean reflect the effects and results of language contact between the two languages. We examined the background and cause of Chinese neologisms derived from Korean based on the sociocultural factors and psychological necessity, and explained neologisms by using four categories of transliteration, liberal translation, borrowing Korean-Chinese characters and others. Despite having the issue of being anti-normative during the process of coining new words, neologism enriches Chinese expressions and is a mirror for social culture that reflects the opinions and understandings of young Chinese people who pursue novelty, change, innovation and creativity in linguistic aspects. We hope that it will serve as an opportunity for the young people in Korea and China to change their perceptions and become more friendly by understanding each other's language, culture and by communicating. We also expect to provide assistance in regard to teaching and learning the applications of Korean-Chinese language fusion at Chinese education fields.
