This study is a study of the school zone safety system of the platform part in which processing between device and the application, gateway function processing, and application and service function are cooperatively processed. The device part is the beacons that are supported when the student moves in the school zone. And the section of application is a service announcement that applies to smartphones. Finally, the children's protection area sign shows the number of students registered at the gateway. Gateways operate in two types. The first type is a gateway installed to identify the movement of elementary school students. The second type is a gateway to identify students who have passed through the front door of the school. The IoT platform handles various service functions, child protection area panel support and student counter processing functions.
This study focused on analysis of experience for adults' reunion with original family members who had lived in child care facilities during the childhood and adolescence. It was researched based on the grounded theory from nineteen participants have interacted with their own separated family members for more than ten years after had been reunited with them. As written in the result section of the study using the paradigm model analysis showed that it was caused by feel regret by reunion, absence of belonging and repeated abandoned wound. The contextual condition appeared as sensitive memories as wounded and frustration of compensation mentality. The centralization phenomenon came in a whirlpool of emotion. The intervention condition appeared as recognition of filial piety, support system for parents and healing their parents mind. The action-interaction showed up as revenge with good will, setting own boding free, inspire of own pride, family reconciliation. The consequence appeared as family sublimation, successful execution of life task and getting living foundation. This research made practical and political proposals based on above result and described the limitations of the study and the proposals for the latter study.
Present study investigated the effects of poverty and poverty-co-factors in childhood. The effect of poverty status was measured by needs-income ratio. It compared its effect on children's socio-emotional development with that of poverty proxy variables such as recipient of public assistance, financial stress, subjective perception about social class, residence in public housing. It also examined the effects of poverty-co-factors after poverty status were controlled. Results show that poverty status has a more consistent negative relationship with socio-emotional development than other proxy variables. However, the relationship between them disappeared after poverty-co-factors were controlled. Findings from the present study suggest that targeted efforts for decreasing poverty-co-factor risks should be made along with financial support.
This study sets out to explore their experiences using a biographical research method and to suggest appropriate support systems for Korean women with leprosy. The data were collected through in-depth interviews with five leprous women. The following main themes were extracted from the practical experiences of leprous women over all their life-span: "encounter the divine punishment", "huge burden on a tiny body", and, "the candle to die down". These themes are listed and described in chronological order. Leprous women were forced to choose concentration hospital to survive social stigma and discrimination. In the hospital, leprous women were treated like a pest, and further deprived of their rights regarding marriage, pregnancy and child care. Until now, they still keep themselves away from society because of their ugly body even though the disease is completely gone. But they keep praying for their children's lives. Finally they accepted a life of tears and regrets and waited for death. This study offers practical knowledge and social work implications for Korean women with leprosy.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the efficiency of Korean child welfare facilities using the DEA analysis method and to present policies. The input variables for the analysis of this data were the number of employees, the number of facilities, and the number of gardens, and the output variables were the current sources. The results of the study are as follows. As a result of CCR analysis, inefficient facilities were found to be temporary protection facilities and comprehensive facilities. As a result of BCC analysis, inefficient facilities were identified as temporary protection facilities. As a result of SE analysis, inefficient facilities were found to be temporary protection facilities. The suggestion is as follows. First, adjustment of the capacity of temporary protection facilities is required. Second, it is necessary to strengthen the professionalism of workers in child welfare facilities. Third, strengthen the expertise of the child welfare facility manager.
The purpose of this study is to establish how community garden spaces should be used to restore communities engaged in village-rehabilitation projects. To achieve this purpose, we have analyzed the perceptions of local residents conducting a town-development project. The community reviewed the benefits of having a garden to improve the residents' quality of life and comfort. Given the role of gardens in revitalizing communities, it is necessary to build spaces where residents can relax and enjoy community life. Those who participated in this study hoped that their community garden would provide shade and relaxation, a children's play area, green spaces, and places for conversation. The space and facilities provided by community gardens vary, in accordance with the expectations and needs of each community. It is therefore inappropriate to apply uniform garden designs to all community gardens. Between 20% and 25% of a community garden should be allocated to each of the following: community space, ornamental space, and space for relaxation. As plants that provide shade and help to maintain the ecosystem are strongly preferred in community gardens, all plants should be chosen for their environmental benefits and functionality, rather than aesthetics. Residents may be willing to participate in a range of activities, including community events, the cultivation of plants, and garden management. Towns must therefore set up programs to support these activities. It is essential to continue studying and investigating the formation of community spaces and facilities, reflecting the characteristics of each community.
Objectives: While employed mothers' use of maternity and parental leave has increased, the contexts that facilitate or hinder mothers' leave policy use have been under examined. The purpose of this study was to explore mothers' experiences of using maternity and parental leave. Method: Twenty-two mothers with young child under age three participated in this study. Results: All 22 mothers used maternity leave and 12 mothers used parental leave. Three main themes were identified: different experiences of maternity leave, experiences of parental leave, and skepticism about the leave policy but with some hope that it will improve. Regarding the mothers' experiences of maternity leave, the mothers thought that maternity leave was easily accessible but some mothers still felt guilty for using maternity leave. They also prepared for their work gap before the leave to avoid harming their colleagues. Accessibility to parental leave varied according to the characteristics of the organizations (i.e., family-friendly organization culture, supportive supervisor) and family contexts (i.e., availability of child care from family members, financial issues). The mothers perceived that while parental leave helps working mothers coordinate their family and work life, it is not as accessible as maternity leave in Korea. They suggested extending the maternity leave duration and improving accessibility to parental leave. Conclusions: These findings suggest that policy support is warranted to help employed mothers with young children remain in the workforce. This study also has implications for supporting employed mothers' work and family life.
Purpose: As more newborns have received expanded newborn screening (NBS) for metabolic disorders, the overall number of false-positive results has increased. The purpose of this study was to explore the psychological impacts experienced by mothers related to the NBS process. Methods: An online parenting community in Korea was selected, and questions regarding NBS were collected using web crawling for the period from October 2018 to August 2021. In total, 634 posts were analyzed. The collected unstructured text data were preprocessed, and keyword analysis, topic modeling, and visualization were performed. Results: Of 1,057 words extracted from posts, the top keyword based on 'term frequency-inverse document frequency' values was "hypothyroidism," followed by "discharge," "close examination," "thyroid-stimulating hormone levels," and "jaundice." The top keyword based on the simple frequency of appearance was "XXX hospital," followed by "close examination," "discharge," "breastfeeding," "hypothyroidism," and "professor." As a result of LDA topic modeling, posts related to inborn errors of metabolism (IEMs) were classified into four main themes: "confirmatory tests of IEMs," "mother and newborn with thyroid function problems," "retests of IEMs," and "feeding related to IEMs." Mothers experienced substantial frustration, stress, and anxiety when they received positive NBS results. Conclusion: The online parenting community played an important role in acquiring and sharing information, as well as psychological support related to NBS in newborn mothers. Nurses can use this study's findings to develop timely and evidence-based information for parents whose children receive positive NBS results to reduce the negative psychological impact.

Purpose: This study was to develop a factor-type patient classification system for general nursing unit based on nursing needs (KPCS; Korean patient classification system for nurses). Method: We reviewed workload management system for nurses(WMSN) of Walter Reed Medical Center, Korean patient classification system for ICU, and nursing activities in nursing records and developed the first version of KPCS. The final version KPCS was evaluated via validity and reliability verifications based on panel discussions and data from 800 patient classifications. Content validity was performed by Delphi method and concurrent validity was verified by the correlation of two tools (r=.71). Construct validity was also tested by medical department (p<.001), patient type (p<.001), and nurse intuition (p<.001). These verifications were performed from April to October, 2008. Results: The KPCS has 75 items in classifying 50 nursing activities, and categorized into 12 different nursing area (measuring vital sign, monitoring, respiratory treatment, hygiene, diet, excretion, movement, examination, medication, treatment, special treatment, and education/emotional support). Conclusion: The findings of the study showed sound reliability and validity of KPCS based on nursing needs. Further study is mandated to refine the system and to develop index score to estimate the necessary number of nurses for adequate care.

Purpose: This study was done to provide effective nursing interventions using an individualized educational program designed to contribute to the knowledge, compliance and physiologic parameters (serum potassium, phosphorus and interdialytic weight gain) of non-compliant hemodialysis patients. Methods: There were 22 participants in the experimental group and 19 in the control group. Nurses with rapport with patients provided education to non-compliant hemodialysis patients for 20 minutes three times a week for six weeks. This education program consisted of individual consulting, telephones conversations regarding hemodialysis, and requests for patient support from patients' families and colleagues. Results: Hypothesis 1; "Knowledge about hemodialysis in the experimental group will be higher than the control. group" was not supported. Hypothesis 2; "Compliance will be higher in the experimental group than in the control group", and Hypothesis 3; "Physiologic parameters of experimental group will improve" were supported as serum potassium and interdialytic weight gain decreased, but results were not consistent for phosphorous. Conclusion: This program for non-compliant patients increased compliance and improved physiologic parameters. Therefore, this educational program should be effective as a nursing intervention.
