유아의 학습관련 사회적 기술을 예언하는 부모양육에 대한 연구 (The relationship between parenting and children's learning related social skills)

  • The present study examined variables relevant to children's learning-related social skills to determine predictive contributions of such variables as parenting behaviors and parenting competence. Subjects were 130 four and five years old children and their parents. Data were analyzed with mean, standard deviation, t-test, bivariate correlation, multiple regression, and step-wise multiple regression. Results indicated that passionate participation parenting and parenting competence were significantly correlated with children's learning-related social skills, and passionate participation parenting was the most critical predictors of children's learning-related social skills.

The Effects of Mothers' Market Work Participation and Away-from-Home Food Consumption on Children's Selected Nutrient Intakes

  • This study examines the effect of mother's market work participation and presumably in the home, on the production of child quality, where child quality is measured by nutritional status. In general, our analysis answers how does mothers' employment affect away-home food consumption and their children's diet quality. The data come from the 1994-1996 Continuing Survey of Food Intakes by Individuals (CSFII) in 1998 and the sample used in this study is 1774 children that provided information on their food intake for two days from 1065 households. The direct effects and indirect effects through foods-away-from home consumption were obtained. The results suggested that although mothers' employment showed small direct effects on their children's nutrient intakes, it can have a larger effect through foods-away-from home consumption.

IPA 기법을 통한 교사들의 유아권리에 대한 중요도 및 수행도 인식 차이 (Importance-Performance Analysis(IPA) of Teachers' Perceptions Regarding Young Children's Rights)

  • Objective: The purpose of this study was to investigate the differences in early childhood teachers' perceptions of the importance and institutional performance regarding young children's rights. Methods: 171 early childhood teachers responded to the questionnaires. The data were analyzed by using the paired sample t-test and the IPA graph to identify differences in the teachers' perceptions of the importance and performance of each right. Results: First, the teachers perceived the importance of children's rights to be high but low in institutional performance. The main effect of teaching years on the perception appeared significant only regarding performance of the rights of protection and participation. The main effect of teacher education experiences was significant in all areas except the importance of survival rights. The results from Two-Way ANOVA showed the two variables have no interaction. Second, the second quadrant of the IPA matrix displayed the items regarding initiative and autonomy of young children. Both inexperienced- and highly-experiencedteachers, when they had teacher education, recognized that the items related to participation rights should be further improved. Conclusion/Implications: We discussed the various ways in which children's rights should be improved and ways of improving teacher education according to teacher variables in order to promote young children's rights.

뇌성마비 아동의 활동 능력과 참여 사이의 상관관계 (The Correlation between Activity Ability and Participation in Children with Cerebral Palsy)

  • 본 연구는 대동작 기능 분류 체계 확장판(GMFCS E&R)과 사물조작 능력 분류 체계(MACS)를 이용하여 뇌성마비 아동의 활동 제한을 알아보고, 뇌성마비 아동의 참여 영역에서의 제약 정도를 파악하여 활동 제한과 참여 제약 사이에 어떤 관계가 있는지를 알아보고자 시행되었다. 본 연구는 2010년 5월 1일부터 2010년 8월 31일까지 부산, 경남 지역의 병원과 복지관에서 재활치료를 받는 4세~12세 뇌성마비 아동 152명 대상으로 GMFCS E&R과 MACS를 이용하여 뇌성마비 아동의 활동 제한 정도를 평가하고, 뇌성마비 아동의 참여 제약에 대한 설문을 실시하였다. 본 연구의 결과는 SPSS 12.0 통계처리 프로그램을 이용하여 뇌성마비 아동의 활동 제한과 참여 제약 정도를 분석하고 활동 제한과 참여 제약 사이 상관관계를 분석하기 위해 Spearman 상관분석을 하였다. 본 연구 대상자의 활동제한에서 빈도가 가장 높은 GMFCS E&R 5 단계, MACS 5단계는 이동, 교육, 사회적 활동에 대해 심한 참여 제약이나 완전한 참여 제약이 있는 아동이 가장 많았다. 활동 제한과 참여 제약의 상관관계 분석 결과는 유의한 정적관계가 있음을 보였다. 따라서 본 연구를 바탕으로 참여 영역에서 뇌성마비 아동의 기능적 움직임에 대해 평가하고 중재 계획을 세우는 데 유용할 것이다.

입원 환아 간호에 대한 부모의 참여 개념분석 (Parent Participation in care of Hospitalized Children: Concept Analysis)

  • 목적 본 연구는 입원 환아에게 최적의 간호를 제공하기 위한 전제조건인 입원 환아 간호에 대한 부모의 참여의 개념을 탐색함으로써 아동간호 실무에 대한 이해를 증진시키고자 시도되었다. 방법 Walker와 Avant (2005)의 개념분석 방법을 사용하였으며, 선행연구를 근거로 1994년부터 2012년 사이에 이루어진 부모의 참여 관련 논문 중 입원 환아 간호, 부모참여를 주요어로 하여 고찰한 논문 30편을 통해 속성, 선행요인, 결과를 확인하였다. 결과 입원 환아 간호에 대한 부모의 참여의 속성은 협상, 돌봄 활동 수행, 개별화된 간호 제공으로 확인되었다. 선행요인은 환아의 연령과 상태, 환아 부모 참여 필요성에 대한 환아 부모와 아동간호사의 태도 및 상호 이해이며, 결과는 환아 부모와 아동간호사의 효율적인 파트너십이 이루어지고, 환아 부모와 아동간호사를 임파워먼트시키게 되는 것으로 확인되었다. 결론 본 연구에서 확인된 입원 환아 간호에 대한 부모의 참여의 개념 정의와 속성은 아동간호실무 이론 개발의 기초자료로 활용될 것이다.

사회인구학적 변인, 가족의 정서적 환경, 어머니의 훈육방식 및 학령기 아동의 정서조절능력 (Socio-demographic Variables, Family Emotional Environment, Maternal Discipline Style, & School Children's Emotional Regulation)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of socio-demographic variables, family emotional environment and maternal discipline style on school children's emotional regulation. Subjects of this study consisted 953 elementary school students drawn from 4 elementary schools in Cheong-ju city and Cheongwon-gun. Data were analyzed by the methods frequency, percentage, Cronbach's ${\alpha}$, factor analysis, Pearson's correlation, and hierarchical regression using SPSSWIN 12.0 program. The results of this study were as follows: First, girls used greater problem-focused coping than boys did. Children in sixth grade used more problem-focused coping regulation compared to those in fourth grade. When children perceived higher level of family communication, emotional support, participation of family rituals, family worries, and parental conflict, they were more likely to use problem-focused coping. Additionally, both maternal supportive discipline and behavioral controlling discipline styles increased children's problem-focused coping. Second, girls presented greater emotional venting than boys did. Children in sixth grade expressed higher level of emotional venting compared to those in fourth grade. While family communication, family worries, and parental conflict increased children's emotional venting, family emotional support and participation of family rituals decreased it. Only mothers' psychological controlling discipline positively predicted children's emotional venting. Third, girls presented higher level of children's aggressive expression than boys did. The lower level of family support increased children's aggressive expression. Higher level of family worries and parental conflict increased it as well. Also, children's aggressive expression was positively predicted by mothers' psychological controlling discipline. Fourth, girls presented greater avoidance than boys did. Children in sixth grade expressed higher level of emotional avoidance compared to those in fourth grade. In family emotional environment, while family support lowered children's emotional avoidance, family worries and parental conflict increased it. Moreover, mothers' psychological and behavioral controlling discipline styles positively explained children's emotional avoidance. In conclusion, family emotional environment was the strongest factor to predict school children's emotional regulation among other variables.

신세대 기혼여성의 의사결정 공동참여와 가정관리만족도 (New-generation Married Women결s Joint Participation in Decision-Making and Home Management Satisfaction)

  • This study was designed to examine the effect of joint participation in decision-making on the home management satisfaction of new-generation married women, which will issue basic data for improving the quality of new-generation home life. The sample was composed of 371 married women under 39years old, selected by age and the local distribution. Major findings are as follows. 1) New-generation married women’s joint participation in decision-making showed a significant difference by degree of communication, perception of the adequacy of resources, perception of the level of living. Home management satisfaction shoed a significant difference by state of employment, existence of children, sex role attitudes, degree of communication, perception of the adequacy of resources, perception of the level of living. 2) The more a couple participated in decision-making about eating and children, the higher level a new-generation married women showed in home management satisfaction. 3) The main variables predicating new-generation married women’s home management satisfaction was perception of the adequacy of resources, perception of the level of living, gender role attitudes, existence of children, joint participation in decision-making about eating and children. They accounted for 36% of the variance.

아버지의 놀이신념과 유아 놀이성 관계에서 아버지의 놀이 참여도의 매개효과 분석 (A Study on the Analysis of Mediated Effects of Father's Play Participation in the Relationship Between Father's Play Belief and Child's Playfulness)

  • 유아들은 놀이를 통해 성장 및 발달을 한다. 놀이는 유아들의 일상생활 속에서 친구, 학습 매체 및 도구로서 활용되고 있다. 본 연구는 아버지의 놀이신념과 놀이참여도가 유아 놀이성에 미치는 영향을 실증적으로 분석하는데 목적을 둔 조사연구이다. 본 연구의 목적을 달성하기 위해 서울시 D구에 소재한 유치원에 재원 중인 만5세 유아 284명을 연구대상으로 선정하여 설문조사를 수행하였다. 설문조사를 통해 수집된 자료는 SPSS 프로그램을 이용하여 빈도분석, 기술통계, 신뢰도 검증, 상관관계 분석 및 회귀분석을 실시하여 다음과 같은 연구결과를 도출하였다. 첫째, 아버지의 놀이신념과 놀이 참여도는 신체적 자발성, 사회적 자발성, 인지적 자발성, 즐거움의 표현, 유머 감각의 유아 놀이성에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 둘째, 아버지의 놀이 신념과 유아 놀이성 관계에서 아버지의 놀이 참여도는 부분매개변수로서 유의한 효과가 있는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 아버지의 놀이 신념과 놀이 참여도는 유아의 놀이성을 예측할 수 있는 중요인 변인이라는 결론을 도출하였다. 따라서 아버지와 유아 관계에서 놀이를 통한 다양한 상호작용을 할 수 있는 가정 내 분위기 형성과 유아와 놀이 활동에서 아버지의 바람직한 역할에 대한 부모교육 프로그램을 유아교육기관 차원에서 지속적으로 제공하여 유아들의 놀이성 발달을 촉진할 필요가 있을 것이다.

지체장애주부의 조직적인 행동과 가족구성원의 참여도 조사연구 (Physically Disabled Homemaker's Organizational Activities and Family Participation)

  • The objectives of this study were as follows: 1) To describe the group of selected disabled homemakers in terms of demographic and medical variables related to organizational activities in the home and family participation in household activities. 2) To identify those demograhpic and medical variables that were related to organizational activities in the home and family participation in household activities. 3) To identify relationship between organizational activities in the home and family participation in household activities. Questionnaires were given to the selected disabled homemakers living in Seoul. The sample was small(N=35) and it was not random; therefore generalizations could not be made to the population as a whole. Data were analyzed by mean, Kruskal-Wallis one-way analysis of variance by ranks, and Spearman rank correlation coefficients. Homemaker's organizational activities were measured by 16 items about physical and mental activities from Mumaw's Organizational Activities Index. Family participation in household activities was measured by 8 items about how often family members participated in two areas of household activities: house chores and extra-activities. The results were as follows: 1) The homemaker's higher organizational activities scores were associated with younger homemaker, higher the level of education, small households, and higher the economic status. The homemaker without children performed better organizational household activities. The homemaker with shorter the duration of disability performed better organizational activities. The homemaker who needed crutches for mobility performed better organizational household activities. 2) The homemaker who was younger, higher the level of education, with smaller households, and lower the economic level was helped by husband. Husband helped better the homemaker with shorter the duration of disability in household activities. 3) Factors affecting children's participation in disabled homemaker's house chores and extra-activities were the age of homemaker and the marital status. The homemaker was single and older, the children were more helpful. 4) Task standardization score was the highest among the factors of homemaker's organizational activities and families with a disabled homemaker participated more extensively than families with abled homemaker. 5) Significant intercorrelation was found between the dependent variables.

다문화 가정 아동을 위한 방과후 요리활동 프로그램의 만족도 및 효과 (The Effect and Satisfaction Level of After-school Cooking Activities for the Children of Multicultural Families)

  • This study examined the satisfaction level and effects of after-school program cooking activities in children of multicultural families. A total of 135 children of general and multicultural families from 3th to 6th grades and their 11 teachers were surveyed, and 75 multicultural family children underwent a cooking activity program. Children of multicultural families showed higher participation in cooking activities than other Korean children. Children of multicultural families wanted to be involved in cooking activity programs after school more than other Korean children. These children also showed a higher rate of wanting to cook Korean foods compared to children of general families. Regarding reasons for participating in cooking activities, 'I think I'm glad to be served delicious food' response was the most common. Children of multicultural families showed higher participation in cooking activities than children of general families. Regarding school life changes, children of multicultural families were found to be less picky of foods in general as well as kimchi and vegetables. In conclusion, cooking activity programs for children of multicultural family showed beneficial effects on diet and understanding of Korean culture.
