In this paper, we prove that a complex Finsler manifold is a complex locally Minkowski space if and only if it is a strictly K$\ddot{a}$hler-Berwald manifold with zero holomorphic sectional curvature.

In this article the problem of characterizing multivariate distributions, possessing certain conditional distributions that have the same form as the parent model, are considered. It is shown that the forms of such conditional distributions characterize some well known distributions like the multivariate exponential, multivariate Burr, multivariate Lomax etc.

구형교반조 및 원통교반조에서 paddle 임펠러의 교반소요동력을 넓은 범위의 레이놀즈수 영역에서 측정하였다. 구형교반조는 교반조 높이가 직경과 같고, 구형교반조의 체적과 같은 원통교반조의 겉보기 직경을 이용하여 구형교반조 및 원통교반조 모두에 적용할 수 있는 교반소요동력 상관식을 구했다. 이 상관식은 Nagata 등 및 Hixson 등의 실험결과에도 양호하게 상관되었다. 또한 임계레이놀즈수는 본 상관식에서 얻은 층류영역에서 난류영역으로의 전이에 관한 계수 $C_{tr}$에 잘 상관되었다.

Traditional service-level agreements (SLAs), defined by average delay or packet loss, often camouflage the instantaneous performance perceived by end-users. We define a set of metrics for service availability to quantify the performance of Internet protocol (IP) backbone networks and capture the impact of routing dynamics on packet forwarding. Given a network topology and its link weights, we propose a novel technique to compute the associated service availability by taking into account transient routing dynamics and operational conditions, such as border gateway protocol (BGP) table size and traffic distributions. Even though there are numerous models for characterizing topologies, none of them provide insights on the expected performance perceived by end customers. Our simulations show that the amount of service disruption experienced by similar networks (i.e., with similar intrinsic properties such as average out-degree or network diameter) could be significantly different, making it imperative to use new metrics for characterizing networks. In the second part of the paper, we derive goodness factors based on service availability viewed from three perspectives: Ingress node (from one node to many destinations), link (traffic traversing a link), and network-wide (across all source-destination pairs). We show how goodness factors can be used in various applications and describe our numerical results.

In recent years, the importance of the characterization of fall for a fracture prevention system keeps increasing since fracture from a fall can lead to serious health problems. Fall is one of the major sources which increase morbidity in elderly people. In terms of the cost and the influence to the quality of life, the most serious injury with hip fractures is caused by falls. The traditional methods in characterizing fall patterns have been mainly by the epidemiological surveys. With surveys, the exact data of fall patterns can not been acquired. In this paper, we measured and analyzed with the parameters related to fall pattern such as velocities and accelerations during the motion of falls using 3D motion capture program. We acquired the parameters of the fall pattern of intentional and unexpected fall. The result showed that the variation of velocity and acceleration during fall was very important in characterizing fall pattern, which of vital importance for the development of a fracture prevention system and for the safety of the elderly.

오피니언 마이닝은 문서로부터 의견을 추출하는 텍스트 마이닝의 응용분야로 현재 활발한 연구가 진행되고 있다. 대부분의 관련 연구는 특정 제품군에 대해서 주어진 특징별로 긍정과 부정 평가를 나누는 감성분류에 초점을 맞추고 있다. 하지만 제품별로 강조되는 특성들을 구별해내는 연구는 거의 이루어지고 있지 않다. 본 논문에서는 특성별로 오피니언 문서들을 분류하고, 이를 이용하여 특정 제품군에 대해서 제품별로 강조되는 특성들을 선별하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안된 기법에서는 텍스트 클러스터링을 활용하였으며, 새로운 유사도 계산 방식을 사용하였다. 또한 실험을 통하여 제안된 방법의 유용성을 증명하였다.
