산업기술 R&D 투자의 고용창출효과 분석 (An Analysis on the Effect of Industrial Technology R&D Investment on Employment)

  • 최근 정부는 고용률 저조로 인한 저성장세의 고착화가 우려됨에 따라 창조적이고 혁신적인 R&D 활동을 통한 신규 고용창출을 중요한 국정목표 중 하나로 삼고 있다. 본 논문에서는 산업연관분석을 적용하되 가장 최근에 발표된 2011년도 산업연관표를 이용하여 정부 산업기술 R&D 투자의 고용창출효과를 분석하고자 한다. 여기서 고용창출효과는 직접고용효과와 고용유발효과로 분해된다. 산업기술 분야를 대분류 기준 총 7개로 구분하여 분석한 결과, 산업기술 R&D 투자액 10억원당 고용창출효과는 8-12명인 것으로 분석되었다. 지식서비스 기술분야의 고용창출효과가 큰 것으로 나타난 반면에, 전기 전자 기술분야는 고용창출효과가 상대적으로 낮았다. 고용창출 우위기술에 속하는 바이오 의료 기술분야와 직접고용 우위기술에 속하는 지식서비스, 화학, 에너지 자원 기술 분야에 대한 선택과 집중을 통해 단기적으로 고용창출의 견인차 역할을 할 필요가 있다. 고용유발 우위기술에 속하는 정보통신, 기계 소재 기술분야는 산업간 파급효과를 통한 중장기적 고용창출 효과가 중요하기 때문에 기술이전, 개방형 혁신 등을 통해 기술 확산에 주력하는 전략이 필요하다. 이상의 결과는 산업기술 R&D 투자의 고용창출효과를 진단하고 예측하는 데 참고자료로 활용할 수 있을 것이다.

한국·미국 핀테크(FinTech) 산업의 고용창출효과 비교 연구 (A Comparative Study on the Employment Creation Effect of FinTech Industry in Korea and USA)

  • 본 연구는 한국과 미국의의 핀테크 산업 고용창출효과를 비교분석하여 한국의 핀테크 산업의 발전을 모색하고자 한다. 분석에 사용된 산업연관표는 한국과 미국 모두 동일한 산업분류와 통화 단위로 구성된 WIOD를 이용하였다. 또한 분석을 위해 핀테크 산업을 ICT분야와 금융분야를 하나의 산업으로 구성 하였다. 뿐만 아니라 본 연구는 두 국가의 핀테크 산업 특성을 구분하기 위해 핀테크 산업 외에도 ICT분야와 금융분야의 고용창출효과도 함께 비교하였다. 분석결과, 한국은 핀테크 산업에 100만 달러의 투자 또는 생산이 이루어질 때 취업유발효과는 11.33명, 고용유발효과는 9.47명으로 총20.8명의 고용창출효과를 나타냈고 미국의 경우 취업유발효과는 8.07명, 고용유발효과는 7.72명으로 고용창출효과는 총15.79명으로 나타났으나 절대적인 비교에서는 한국이 더 높게 나타났다. 하지만 국가 산업 전체 평균 고용창출효과를 기준으로 분류한 결과 한국의 핀테크 산업은 고용유발효과가 높은 고용유발우위 산업으로 미국은 취업유발효과와 고용유발효과가 모두 높은 고용창출우위 산업으로 분류되었다.

대도시권 시대의 도시정책을 위한 기초지자체 유형 구분 (Classifying Types of Local Governments for Urban Policies in the Metropolitan Era)

  • The purpose of this study is to present a plan to distinguish 229 local governments nationwide by taking into account various characteristics such as population, employment, housing, and industry of the region for customized urban policies in the era of metropolitan areas. The National Statistical Portal (KOSIS) collected and standardized data related to population, housing, industry, and finance by region from 2000 to 2015 for the classification of regional types necessary for customized urban policies, and this was used to classify them into regional types that considered population, employment, housing and industry. The summary of the analysis results is as follows. First, as a result of the regional type classification, 10 key employment sites (4.4%), 5 employment centers (2.2%), 38 residential centers (16.6%), 20 growth areas (8.7%), 26 industrial cities (11.4%), 35 low-fertile farming and fishing villages (15.3%) and 95 stagnant areas (41.5%). Second, the Seoul metropolitan area is the most diverse type of metropolitan area in the country, with most of its core employment sites inside Seoul, residential centers inside and outside Seoul, and growth areas in the southeastern part of the country (Busan, Ulsan, and Gyeongsangnam-do) are mixed with industrial and growth areas centered around Busan, Ulsan and surrounding areas, while the rest of the local governments are found to be low-fertile farming villages or stagnant areas. Daegu (Daegu, Gyeongbuk) is an industrial city in Daegu, and the rest of the local governments are either low-density farming and fishing villages or stagnant areas. The Honam region (Gwangju and Jeolla) was found to be a low-mill farming and fishing village or stagnant area except for Gwangju, while the Chungcheong region (Daejeon, Sejong, and Chungcheong) was seen as a growth area with areas adjacent to Daejeon, Sejong, and the Seoul metropolitan area, and some industrial cities were included. Finally, the Gangwon area was mostly classified as low-density farming and fishing villages and stagnant areas.

  • The purpose of this study was to explore the effects of family and employment characteristics on the psychological well-being of Korean men in their early/middle adulthood. For this purpose total-sample of 415 married white collar male workers in Seoul were selected. Major findings were as follows; First There was no significant difference between early adulthood and middle adulthood in the level of psychological well-being of married male workers. Second marital satisfaction parental role satisfaction and th employment rate of their spouses were higher among men in the early adulthood whereas the rate of specialized and managerial jobs and job flexibility were higher among men in the middle adulthood. Third parental status parental role satisfaction work flexibility job security and job satisfaction significantly affected the psychological well-being in the early adulthood whereas parental status parental role satisfaction the quality of relationship with colleagues and job s tisfaction had significant effects on it in the middle adulthood.

중학교 일반교실 실내음향 시뮬레이션에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Computer Simulation of Acoustic Characteristics in Middle School Lecture Room)

  • The purpose of the research on the noise of educational facilities is to build up pleasant environments by minimizing the influence on the students in the school. This study provides fundamental data for acoustic design by measuring, computer simulation and analyzing the room acoustic characteristics of the lecture room in middle school. For measurement on the factors of room acoustic, RT of lecture room and noise reductions depending on various walls of different structures were measured and analyzed. The lecture system being installed and carried out on the normal lecture room was divided into 4 types-employment of multimedia machines, employment of multimedia machines and loud speakers, employment of loud speaker, and existing verbal speaking-and SPL for each type was measured and analyzed. Based on the measured characteristics of acoustic characteristics for normal lecture room, the problems for environment of noise were understood through computer simulation, applications for improvements of performance for each facility were studied, schemes for improvements of performance by using the effects were presented, necessary fundamental data were secured, and schemes to enhance flexibility on the existing facilities of school against changing educational courses were secured.

Relations between Information Items of Job Posting and Vacancy Duration in Mid-level Labour Market - by GLM, Decision Tree

  • In this paper, we study the relationship between vacancy duration and information items of a job posting by using generalized linear models and a decision tree analysis w.r.t. the three factors such as company characteristics, employment conditions, and constraints. The results indicate that the employment conditions rather than company characteristics are more influential to the vacancy duration. These effects are presumed to be based on the complex relations between the decisions of the employers and the job seekers. And in this paper we suggest the need to provide personalized and profiled labor market information tailored for a quick decision to job seekers and employers. Policy implication is that since employer's decision affects the vacation duration, employers may had better to provide a comprehensive labour market information including supply and demand of the required skills in order to reduce the time for judgment on the cost-effectiveness.

가구조사를 통해 본 고용형태와 작업관련 손상 경험 (The Type of Employment and Occupational Injuries - Based on Household Survey -)

  • This study was planned to analyze the effect of the types of employment on work-related injury experience. The types of employment may have influenced on working conditions including the exposure to risk factors. Korean Working Conditions Survey have collected the various working conditions as household survey with structured questionnaire. The probability of work-related injury of self-employed is more than that of regular worker. But there is no difference of probability of work-related injury experience between regular and irregular worker controlled by general characteristics and the exposure to risk factors. Authors have found that the type of employment have indirect effect on work-related injury experience via the exposure to risk factors. The result of this study may be heuristic one because of data limitation as cross sectional survey data. In future, well designed survey data can evaluate the effect of the type of employment on safety and health status.

대졸자의 자격보유가 취업과 일자리적합도에 미치는 영향 분석 (Analysis of the effects of college graduates' qualifications on employment and job suitability)

  • 본 연구는 자격을 보유하고 있는 대졸자들의 특성을 파악하고, 학교소재지에 따른 취업과 일자리적합도 분석을 통해 자격의 경제적, 비경제적 효과를 확인하고자 하였다. 이를 위해 2016년 "대졸자직업이동경로조사" 자료를 SPSS 25를 사용하여 기초통계, 로지스틱회귀분석을 실시하였다. 본 연구를 통해 선행연구에서 밝힌 취업의 효과성을 재확인하였으며, 특히, 비 서울권 대졸자의 자격보유는 취업 및 일자리적합도를 높이는데 일부 긍적적인 영향을 주는 것으로 조사되었다. 결론적으로, 개인속성과 학교소재지에 따른 자격의 효과성은 다를 수 있으나, 이를 고려한 적절한 자격보유 독려와 취득 지원은 대졸자의 취업과 일자리적합도에 도움을 줄 수 있음을 시사한다.

온라인 개인간 대출시장에서의 차입자 특성 연구 (A Study on the Determinants of the Characteristics of Online Peer-to-Peer Lending)

  • In this paper, we examine factors of success in online P2P (peer-to-peer) lending auctions. This paper finds the following empirical results. First, loan applicants with a stable employment status are more likely to succeed in the auction than loan applicants with an unstable employment status. Second, loan applicants, who actively share personal information and interact with lenders through online message boards, are likely to succeed in the auction. Third, the purpose of a loan for debt repayment has a significant impact on the success of the auction. However, the purpose of a loan for essential living expenses such as housing, living, and medical expenses has an insignificant relationship with the success of the auction. Our results imply that the characteristics of loan applicants such as employment status and social interaction are the factors of success in online P2P lending auctions.

제조업 고용구조변화의 특징 분석 (Structural Change and Employment in Manufacturing Sector -Polarization by Firm Size-)

  • This paper presents the relationship between the pace of structural change and the magnitude of employment growth in the manufacturing sector in OECD countries. To measure the pace of structural change, the compositional change index in value-added in manufacturing sector is introduced. For mid to long-term there seems to be a positive relationship between the pace of structural change and the magnitude of employment growth. In those countries with higher value of the compositional index, the employment growth in manufacturing sector was generally higher. To analyse the characteristics of structural change in manufacturing sector, this paper classifies manufacturing industries into groups: one based on technology, one on orientation, one on wages and one on skills. The international comparison of manufacturing sector's employment patterns based on above four classifications are presented. International comparison suggests that Korean manufacturing sector move into jobs with more skills and knowledge The structural change of SMEs and large firms are compared based on above four classification methods. It is shown that SMEs' employment in low value sectors, that is low-technology, labor-intensive, tow-wage, and unskilled sectors, have risen faster than SMEs' employment in high-technology, science-based, high-wage and skilled sectors. Large firms' employment have been mainly increased in high value sectors. However, the employment growth of both large and small firms have been concentrated on production worker-intensively-using sectors, i.e. unskilled sectors. This widened the wage differential of production workers by firm sizes and concurrently led to severe shortage of production workers for SMEs, which has little ability to pay high wage to production workers because they usually belong to low-wage sectors. Korea need to push SMEs forward to high value sectors. The premise of that is, however, to pull large firms out of production worker-intensively-using sectors.
