It is mainly referred to 2015 Gyeonggi-do land-use restriction map. Result: First, Gyeonggi-do confronts many problems related to the development restrictions and the financial increasement for environmental management by redundant regulations. The development restrictions include supplying additional land for industrial use, relocating colleges, and height limitation relating to military facilities. Second, in order to organize redundant regulations, it is required to combine similar regulations and adjust through communication system among other departments. Of these, 150 useable questionnaires were returned and analyzed by t-test, multiple regression analysis using SPSS. 3) Results: The organizational commitment and job satisfaction were a little bit higher than moderate level, and that of leadership perceived by medical record administrators was also in moderate level throughout types. Significant characteristics (positively) related to organizational commitment and job satisfaction by univariate analysis were marital status (married), position (middle management) and both type of leadership. However transformational leadership was the only significant factor in leadership styles after considering all the factors related to organizational commitment and job satisfaction together by multivariate analysis. 4) Conclusion: The average organizational commitment and job satisfaction of medical record administrators was just in moderate level. • Background: Prostate cancer is the second leading cause of cancer death in men worldwide. Several factors such as availability of screening tests, and dietary, other lifestyle, environmental and genetic influences contribute to worldwide disparities in prostate cancer incidence and mortality rates. Our aims were to investigate patient characteristics at the time of diagnosis, common treatment strategies employed and survival in an Iranian male population with prostate cancer. Materials and Methods: Archives of Pathology Departments of five referral centers affiliated with the School of Medicine of Shahid Sadoughi University in Yazd province were reviewed. Paraffin-embedded blocks were reviewed by two independent pathologists to confirm the diagnosis. The latest modification of the Gleason Scoring System was adopted to determine pathological grading. Following pathological evaluation, patients were contacted via telephone to acquire information regarding their current status. Results: Pathology blocks were available for 113 patients. However, upon phone contacts, we were unable to determine the survival status in 23 patients (response rate=83%). Therefore, 90 patients were enrolled in the final analysis. The median follow-up time was 6.0 years (ranging from 0.3 to 8.8 years). There were 30 death attributed to prostate cancer in the study group. Kaplan-Meier analysis revealed that patient age at the time of diagnosis was a significant predictor of survival. Another significant predictor of poorer survival was higher tumor grade. Conclusions: Our observations indicate that age and pathological grade can negatively affect survival of individuals with prostate cancer in Iran.

  • The purpose of this study is to compar self-reported fatigue and fatigue-regulating behaviors of rheumatoid arthritic patients and normal persons. This study collected the data from 75 rheumatoid arthritic patents visited the departments of internal medicine or orthopedics of four general hospitals T-city and K-city by means of direct interview and questionnaires. in this study also collected data from 75 normal persons who had not been exposed to any other disease in T-city and K-city by means of direct interviews anti questionnaires which were conducted by two trained nurses. This experiment was conducted from August 1, 1998 to October 15, 1998. This study used both MAP(Multi-Dimentional Assessment of Fatigue) developed by Belza(1995) to measure fatigue and the measurement developed by Kwon, Young-Eun to investigate fatigue regulating behaviors. The collected materials were analyzed by means of descriptive statistics, t-test, and the ANCOVA according to the SPSS PC+ program. The findings are as follows : 1. There was the statistically significant difference(t =5.07, p=.000), between rheumatoid arthritic patients(32.76 points) and normal persons(25.81 points) in t-test comparison by group about fatigue. A fatigue degree of rheumatoid arthritic patient group was high in five kinds of lower realms such as common fatigue degree, fatigue severity to be experienced, distress due to fatigue, daily fatigue degree, and fatigue timing at the last week by dimension. 2. There was the significant difference in the number of fatigue-regulating behaviors between rheumatoid of fatigue arthritic patients(9.37 times) and normal persons (8.15 times), but there wasn't any significant difference in the efficiency between rheumatoid arthritic patients(2.85 points) and normal persons (2.78 points) This research suggests two kinds of things as follows : 1. It is necessary to develop an educational program for improving efficiency of fatigue-regulating behaviors as well as some nursing arbitration measures for reducing fatigue of rheumatoid arthritic patients. 2. It is necessary for the future studies to continuously grasp characteristics of fatigue by gender variable by selecting more rheumatoid arthritic male patients.

  • Purpose: As the improvement in quality of medical environment and the spatial consideration for the prevention of infection in the hospital have become increasingly important in the recent years, specific and practical planning for air conditioning room's area has become a major issue accordingly. However, the air conditioning room tends to be discussed focusing on technical factors such as air conditioning systems that are irrelevant to building plans, while discussions of most departments related to the medical functions have actively taken placed. Therefore, this study aims to investigate the factors influencing the planning for the air conditioning room area, and through subsequent analysis of the area of the air conditioning room, to propose a way to improve effective planning for the air conditioning room area. Methods: This study examines the case hospitals that fall into two types: each floor supply system and concentrated supply system, and compares and analyzes the air conditioning room area-related factors and the characteristics of changes in the interior of air conditioning room before and after remodeling through air conditioning floor plan of those case hospitals. Results: The air conditioning room can be classified into the net area of the functional space such as duct passages, and the public area such as aisle space, and of those the public area is an important factor in calculating the area of the air conditioning room. The public area of the air-conditioning room should not be planned considering only the spaces for mobile passage or maintenance activities, but should be planned taking into account internal changes such as expansion and replacement of equipment in the future from the beginning. Implications: When planning a medical facility, it is used as basic data for the planning of the air conditioning room area, which is a significant fixed factor in the initial setting.
