  • According to the importance(production ratio) of special brand eggs, poultry farma can be classified into four types(Types I to IV). A close relation can be observed between these types and farm scale. Special brand eggs used to be the speciality of small-scale, suburban poultry farms. Recently, however, the production of these eggs has been adopted by medium and large farms, too, and is increasing throughout Japan. In particular, small-scale farms specializing in these eggs have attained a high profit and take a characteristic management from as opposed to large-scale poultry farming that adopts the \"small profit and quick returns\" strategy. Because of this, the meaning of special brand egg production to farm management differs according to farm scale. For small poultry farmers, it means securing a high profitability and for medium and large producers, improving the corporate image or meeting the needs for assortment of retailers.

중년기 전업주부의 생활진단 척도개발 (Development of Life-Scale for Middle Aged full time homemakers)

  • The purpose of this study is to develop the life scale of the middle aged homemakers. The life scale are composed of spouse relation 8 items, child education relation 7 items, home economy relation 4 items, homework relation 3 items, selfish health relation 6 items, parent relation 3 items, and interest and social activity relation 4 items. The reliability coefficient of the development scale was Cronbach'α =.83 and the correlations of each demesne was high. For the better future life in this study, the middle aged homemakers are needed the improvement of conjugal relations, the child education, the health, the interest, and the enlargement of social relations. This life scale can help to evaluate their middle age, and to the planning of energetic healthful future, and useful to understanding characteristic and the developmental task of middle aged homemakers.

Quantitative Characterization of Solar Active Regions Based on Their Evolutionary Paths

  • We present a way of quantitatively characterizing solar active regions on the basis of their evolutionary paths. To determine characteristic properties of active regions with different sizes and configurations, we use a physics-based model to derive a relation between emerged magnetic flux and injected magnetic helicity (Flux-Helicity relation), the former of which gives scale information while the latter represents the magnetic field configuration of an active region. We demonstrate how this relation provides evolutionary paths of active regions and determines their characteristic properties, through a comparison with modeled active regions obtained from magnetohydrodynamic simulations.

  • This paper descrives the computational algorithm for determination of system characteristic constants using diakoptic method. When the system charateristic contants of large scale power system are calculated by using sensitivity matrix method which requires the inversion of Jacobian matrix, the necessary computing time and memory requirements increase very largely. Diakoptic mothods is benefit to get around these problems, and it is applied to a model system compared with the integrated method to discuss the efficiency of the algorithm.

  • In this paper was analyzed and compared the resistivity characteristic of concrete between moisture condition and dry condition to measure the variation of resistivity by water after making concrete scale block. The resistivity was decreased when the moisture of concrete block was gradually increased.

  • This paper is aimed to investigate and analyze of characteristic for electrical equipment and work environment for the small-scale site. In order to investigate and analyze electrical equipment and work environment for preventing electric shock disaster in construction sites, 50 small-scale construction sites and 12 large-scale construction sites are selected. This paper completed site investigations of low-voltage equipment and the portable electric machine and equipment in 12 large-scale construction sites and 50 small-scale construction sites. The findings were about the electric shock environment relevant to the ground-relevant equipment, the panel board, the protection tools, the sockets, the temporary wiring system, the portable and movable electric machines and equipments in small-scale construction sites. Finally, this study analyzed the domestic and foreign relevant standards and regulations and these findings can be utilized as educational data warning electric shock risk caused by electric equipment in small-scale construction site.

Fluctuating lift and drag acting on a 5:1 rectangular cylinder in various turbulent flows

  • In this paper, the fluctuating lift and drag forces on 5:1 rectangular cylinders with two different geometric scales in three turbulent flow-fields are investigated. The study is particularly focused on understanding the influence of the ratio of turbulence integral length scale to structure characteristic dimension (the length scale ratio). The results show that both fluctuating lift and drag forces are influenced by the length scale ratio. For the model with the larger length scale ratio, the corresponding fluctuating force coefficient is larger, while the spanwise correlation is weaker. However, the degree of influence of the length scale ratio on the two fluctuating forces are different. Compared to the fluctuating drag, the fluctuating lift is more sensitive to the variation of the length scale ratio. It is also found through spectral analysis that for the fluctuating lift, the change of length scale ratio mainly leads to the variation in the low frequency part of the loading, while the fluctuating drag generally follows the quasi-steady theory in the low frequency, and the slope of the drag spectrum at high frequencies changes with the length scale ratio. Then based on the experimental data, two empirical formulas considering the influence of length scale ratio are proposed for determining the lift and drag aerodynamic admittances of a 5:1 rectangular cylinder. Furthermore, a simple relationship is established to correlate the turbulence parameter with the fluctuating force coefficient, which could be used to predict the fluctuating force on a 5:1 rectangular cylinder under different parameter conditions.

단순 매트릭스 액정 표시기의 계조화 구동에 관한 연구 (A Study on the grey scale driving of the simple matrix LCDs)

  • 본 논문에서는 단순매트릭스 액정 표시기의 새로운 계조화 방식으로서 새로운 코드 체계를 사용한 계조화 방식을 제시하였다. 새로운 계조화 방식의 실험 및 특성 평가는 16계조 및 32계조 패턴의 시뮬레이션과 구동전압의 산출을 통하여 수행하였다. 실험 및 특성 평가 결과로서 3비트 코드 체계, (7, 5, 3)을 이용한 16계조 모드는 본 논문에서 고찰되는 기존의 계조 표시 모드들과 비교하여 각각 19% 및 9.6% 줄어든 최대 구동 전압을 갖는다. 이러한 구동 전압 특성의 개선 정도는 표시 계조 수가 증가할수록 더욱 증가된다. 한편 계조 패턴의 시뮬레이션을 통한 화질 평가 결과로서 3비트 16계조 모드는 기존 방식과 비교하여 계조 특성을 다소 저하시키나 이러한 특성 저하 정도는 32계조 등 계조 수가 증가할수록 크게 감소된다. 결과적으로 본 논문에서 제시하는 새로운 코드 체계를 이용한 계조화 방식은 계조 특성의 저하를 최소화하면서 구동 전압 특성을 효율적으로 개선할 수 있는 방식임을 확인하였다.

이종 입자복합재의 미세구조 생성과 계층적 모델의 선형 탄성적 응답특성 해석 (Microstructure Generation and Linearly Elastic Characteristic Analysis of Hierarchical Models for Dual-Phase Composite Materials)

  • 본 논문은 $Ni-A{\ell}_2O_3$로 구성된 금속-세라믹 이종 입자복합재의 2차원 미세구조(microstructure) 생성과 미세구조 스케일(scale)에 따라 정의되는 계층적 모델들의 역학적 특성 분석에 관한 내용이다. 이종 입자복합재의 미세구조는 수학적인 MDF(random morphology description functions) 모델링기법을 복합재의 2차원 RVE(representative volume element) 영역에 적용하여 생성하였다. 그리고 미세구조 생성에 필요한 가우스 함수들의 개수에 따라 미세구조의 계층적 모델을 정의하였다. 한편 임의 미세구조 내 금속과 세라믹 입자가 차지하는 체적분율(volume fraction)은 RMDF 함수의 레벨을 조정함으로서 설정하였다. RMDF기법에 의한 미세구조들은 가우스 함수들의 개수가 일정할지라도 랜덤하게 생성된다. 이렇게 랜덤하게 생성되는 미세구조들을 2차원 보(beam) 모델에 적용하여 미세구조의 스케일에 따른 수직응력과 전단응력의 계층적 변동을 수치 해석적으로 고찰하였다. 또한, 균열해석을 통해 RMDF의 랜덤성과 가우스 함수들의 개수가 균열선단에서의 응력값에 미치는 영향을 고찰하였다.
