  • In the past, delivering knowledge mainly, education focused on the development of left brain. However, as the importance of right brain is widely accepted, various approaches on education in creativity have been tried. With the advance in the research on the brain, it has been known that the left brain and the right brain are closely linked to work effectively while they are specialized to some functionalities differently. We developed an educational content exploiting Chinese characters to facilitate the balanced development of both brain. Making categorizations from Yin-yang and five elements of the universe, it consists of four stages. The first stage is to stimulate the brain with visual scandal. The second one, third one, and the fourth one are to develop the right brain, left brain, and both brain respectively. Through expert interview, the potential of the developed content as an efficacious method for brain development was verified.

  • In order to strengthen objectivity and availability of oriental herb medicine, the standard formula for herbs has been attempted to set up by experimenting and documentary testing original herbs which were recorded in authorized document. The object herb medicine is Codonopsis Pilosulae Radix. The internal and external morphological standard in this study is expected to supply the search for several physiochemical reaction, biological reaction, determination of indicator material and identification of gene with basic sources in the future. The result of study is as follows; In the external shape, it was possible that herbs were distinguished according to artificial classification and that same genus-degree of relatedness among herbs could be distinguished by more precise and active observation. In the shape of real herbs, I compared current herbs in market with original herbs which were just collected or were on the course of drying. In addition, it was possible that the internal shape could be identified by using microscope after butanol series. In powder herbs, it was possible to purify the shape by microscope through maceration of natural and powder herbs. Though it was impossible to make distinction of herbs which are not current in my search contents, this search contents will be a standard for alpplying herbs in the future. Despite such a useful character, it was difficult to deal with power herbs because it was uncertain to make a standard for them on account of the crush of these tissue. Since powders shape of herbs in a few documents were regard not as the powder shapes of natural herbs but as the maceration state of them. It is suggested that we should inspect the original herbs which are not crushed yet with a microscope in order to identify crushed shape of powder herbs from now on. An Additional standard establishment including physiochemical reaction and gene research is required in order to supplement the fault of this search. As for the supplement about this search, considering that many kinds of same genus-degree of relatedness are being current now, it is necessary that each herb should he collected only after identifying and that the succeeding search of each herb should be proceeded for the regular establishment of internal and external standard.

The methodology of the study is to interpret the contents from the historic literature on the site map. The result of the study is as follows; Byungyoung Castle does duty as a defensive base for the entire country and has a specific character of location that has the dual function of a mountain fortress for national defense and of a village fortress for the town. Byungyoung Castle has four gates on four sides and has a oval shape very close to a circular form. The road construction inside the castle is composed basically of a cross shape. Byungyoung is located in the northwest area of this major road system. The private houses that lie along the north-south road are build up at the core area of the lower level and the town market built up around the south gate becomes the heart of life for the people. Schematically, it has the same pattern as regular village fortress, in that the houses for the guests and the houses for the public office are arranged to the east and the west. • Gender role identity is a key subject toward adaptation in later life. In this paper, we tried to understand the specific types and characteristics of gender role identity in view of older men. The research collected and examined 40 representative descriptions representing gender role identity, including 20 for masculinity and 20 for femininity from 40 older men. We obtained four types of gender role identity of older men from this research. "Powerful-expressive type" is energetic and reveals his brave and dominant tendency when they are working. "Powerful-taciturn type" is strongly independent and has a firm conviction, but they do not express those characters and remain silent. "Powerful-paternal type" handles his work with a driving force, and has a tender character. "Paternal-caring type" finds his own worth in life by caring for his family and children, and considers others more than himself. Future research is needed to verify how the types of gender role identity are linked to psychosocial adaptive aspects, health behaviors, mental and physical health.

  • Through this thesis, I wanted to understand the form of free indirect discourse of modern films. To this end, I first explored the notion of the polyphonie as a mixture of the speaker and the character' voice in order to establish a concept related to free indirect discourse. However, I could not overlook the differences in the form of novels and movies to apply the following theory to films. Based on the concept of narrative distance, I sought to explore the possibility of free indirect discourse from the dual position of the camera. Next, I introduced the concept of free indirect discourse in the film by introducing the concept of Time in G. Deleuze' CinemaII. In other words, the time from Deleuze is the past and the present cycle, and he sees the Time circulating like the Non-Euclidean space. I wanted to understand the form of free indirect discourse in films by analyzing the concept of Time as an analysis of the movie .

  • This study examines the economic, social, and cultural influence of films. The study also suggests several applications for Christian society through integrating some Christian viewpoints of films in culture. Films affect most of all areas of the society and modern people tried to get used to new culture of moving images, as we have done with the-character-culture, in the past. Many Christians, however, are shy about films and they have a few Christian applications to them. In this paper, researchers integrate the model of Niebuhr, Shin's cultural viewpoint of Niebuhr's understanding, and Johnston and Keller's model about films developed from Niebuhr. Researchers suggest a step-by-step proposal containing 'Extension of critical perspective', 'Establishment of thinking', and 'Expansion of thinking' as Christian effort to communicate films effectively. In addition, more studies are suggested Christianity will find out more possibilities of dialogue and more positive alternative to communicate with diverse cultures that are naturally experienced in today's popular society.

  • A quest in MMORPG functions as a unit of game narrative. It is an essential part to progress game narrative and to construct player's own storyline. In addition, it makes player to expand her territory and helps with character growth by giving reward. A quest consists of four essential elements : the quest giver, the background story, the objective and the reward. A quest shows a blanch structure with two nodes which is same as Claude Bremond's elementary sequence. The sequence of each functions cannot be changed, therefore, it can be explained through a syntagma model. On the other hand, spatial disposition of quests follows a paradigm model. In order to construct a MMORPG narrative, a player connects quests into a single narrative by carrying out them.
