This study aimed at comprehending the meaning of sexual life for aged people, their strength of sexual desire and causes of change in their sexual life. It was another purpose to understand the extent of aged people's acknowledging the necessity of sexual consultation. This study adopted descriptive method using open-ended questionaires. The data for study was collected from 26 people over 65 years who reside in communities. It was gathered from April to June of 1998 through interview. The interviewee includes 16 males, 9 females and their average age was 73.3. 19 people among them have spouses. The conclusion of this study can be summarized as follows. 1) Attitude to sexual life: The meaning of sexual life for aged people is categorized as 'sense of duty', 'feeling of intimacy', 'basic desire', 'decrease of meaning' and 'meaningless'. 2) Sexual desire: Sexual desire of aged people is categorized as 'extinction', 'decrease', 'continuation' and 'restraint'. Restraint of sexual desire is due to social convention or the difficulty in fulfilling desire. 3) Causes of troubles in sexual life Causes which lead to troubles in sexual life of aged people can be categorized as 'physical', 'psychological' and 'social'. 'Physical' elements include 'incompetence of erection', 'decrease in duration of erection', 'increase in time needed to re-erection', 'declining of physical strength', 'decrease in vagina secretion' and 'worsening of health'. Among 'psychological' elements 'decrease of self-confidence', 'diminished concern of female aged people' are. 'Social elements' are 'absence of sexual parter', 'circumstances of living' and 'recognition of neighbor'. 4) Response to change of sexual life The reaction of aged people to change of sexual activities is classified as 'positive' and 'negative'. 5) Attitude to the consultation of sexual life of aged people The attitude to the consultation of sexual life in old age is classified as 'negative', 'doubtful' and 'positive'. This study explored the meaning which aged people in community attach to sexual life, the extent of their sexual desire, the causes of troubles in their sexual life, their emotional response to changes in sexual life, their recognition of necessity in sexual consultation. Considering the frequency of the statement, most of aged people who were interviewed thought much of sexual life and put emphasis on it. Those who said that sexual life has decreased meaning or is not important to them are few, Though aged people still maintain sexual desire, most of them have some trouble in sexual life. These trouble changes the sexual life, and results in negative feeling such as depression, renunciation and difficulty in relations. So they acknowledged that sexual consultation is necessary to them.

The change in moisture content of moisture sensitive products in moisture-semipermeable packages was investigated for the purpose of predicting the shelf life of a product-package combination. A mathematical model, and a computer program based on the physiochemical properties of the product and the moisture permeability of the package was developed. The moisture content for products in moisture-semipermeable packages was determined under various environmental conditions and the results were compared with the predicted values by means of the simulation model. These experimental studies demonstrated that the prediction of the change in moisture content of packaged products over time by the simulation model is accurate, within a practical range of temperature and relative humidity values. The developed semi-empirical model is considered to have applications in industry, since it provides product shelf life information for a range of temperature and relative humidity conditions, with a limited number of experimentally obtained data points.

We are been overconcerned about the economic changes in the information society. But there is clear viewpoint that we should consider the social or familial changes in conjunction with the emergence of an 'information society'. Additionally, the introduction of new technologies, for example internet, WWW and their network community increase the change to family and family member's life. Thus, this paper is prepared to examine how the information process is presented in our family life. The whole paper has three sections. The first chapter introduce the author's topic and related viewpoints, and the second explored many aspects linked family life in information society. Finally the third chapter explained about the studied results like the information gap according th sex and age, the familism and the concept of child as reward/cost in the informationalized group.

In a resent paper, Na and Kim(2000) develop a family of test statistics for testing whether or not the mean residual life changes its trend based on complete data and show that the new tests perform better than previously known tests. In this paper, we extend their tests to the randomly censored data. The asymptotic normality of the test statistics is established. Monte Carlo simulations are conducted to compare our tests with a previously known test by the power of tests.

The study on the progress of automatic machining system has been active centering at the CNC machine tools recently to lead the applied production technology like unmaned machining to the practical level, and to make these application more efficient, they require detective method for tool wear and breakage while machining. In this study chiefly on turning, first derive cutting force about the tool surface by the cutting resistant sensor and with which change into electric signal and compare with the standards to make the tool life detection system to let know the tool life and study its application; the cutting resistance detected by the cutting resistant sensor has increased to the level of standards, the measuring system which can decide whether we change tools on the basis of comperative circuit is shown to be very reliable model for cutting tool life detection system.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the influential factors on the change in life satisfaction of elderly households. In this study, single and couple elderly households were defined as elderly households and the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th data of the Korean Longitudinal Survey of Ageing (KLoSA) provided by the Korea Employment Information Service (KEIS) were used. And 677 respondents aged 65 and over who had replied to all 3 sessions were included in the final subjects. multinomial logistic regression analysis was conducted to examine the influential factors on life satisfaction by the type of elderly households according to consumption pattern and the result showed that there were common influential factors such as house owning status and subjective health status and the factors that influence specific types such as expectancy of standard of living. In addition, in the longitudinal analysis of life satisfaction of elderly households, individual satisfaction level was confirmed to reduce with time and the factors that influence the longitudinal change in the level of life satisfaction of elderly households was analyzed through the conditional model of a latent growth model. The analysis results showed that household type, house owning status, and subjective health status influenced the initial value of life satisfaction of elderly households while household type and expectancy of living standard influenced the change rate of life satisfaction of elderly households. Based on the results of this study, the followings are suggested. There is a need to improve the life satisfaction of old age by increasing the opportunity for self-realization of elderly households and also policy approach should be made selectively taking various types into consideration.

The study is the analysis on Oe-am village which is designated as a folk-preservation village in 1988 and is included in the fact of the dwelling change through Spot-Survey and Case-Investigation in the last decade from now(2001), The result shows the main change on the stand-up dining room installation, the place with the boiler and bathroom installation, the additional expansion through the combination of the small twice or third space, the using change, the prototype restoration. The reason of this change is shown the following. 1. There is the dual structure that the villager repairs that because the repairing operation is biased the prototype restoration since the government construction. 2. The internal change is come from more at thatched house than at tiled house and the order of the main element's change is Kitchen (35%), main room (30%), living room (24%) and other rest room (11%). 3. The change of the dining room in the internal composition material is the strongest and the change is included in the using change, the installation of the new sub-division in the spot and the expansion of the outside if necessary. The reason of the main change is life-style's. Therefore we can know the change of the dwelling structure and we are able to make a modern-life. Also, If the restoration or repair is necessary, the change element on that must be considered.
