Background and Objects : The environment of hospital have been changed rapidly. To adapt changes, it is needed to boost customer satisfaction. This study aims to investigate satisfaction of customer satisfaction program participants Method : After the one week customer satisfaction program was completed, we surveyed 50 participants. The questionnaire method was used in this study. The questionnaires item were sex, age, department, satisfaction, positive change, necessity and interval in customer satisfaction program. Results : The major results of the analysis were as follows Positive change after customer satisfaction program were 6.90±1.94. Necessity further customer satisfaction program were 7.74±2.09. Conclusions : Customer program should be needed and keep teaching to the staff.
Objectives: The purpose of this study is to evaluate the effects of Metabolic Syndrome care program with Korean Medicine in public health center. Methods: The data were collected from 28 participations who joined Korean Medicine care program. The program was started from April of 2013 and finished November of 2013. The effect of Metabolic Syndrome were evaluated with blood pressure check and blood test, physical test. Results: The number of Metabolic Syndrome patients decreased after the program(-24.9%). Specially TG decreased from 83.321 to 80.036(p<0.05) and FBS also decreased 8.607(p<0.01) after the program. HDL increased from 47.821 to 53.000(p<0.01) but blood pressure didn't change. BMI decreased 0.789(p<0.01) and abdominal obesity decreased 2.607(p<0.01) after the program significantly. Conclusions: From these study, the Metabolic Syndrome care program with Korean Medicine is worthy for treating Metabolic Syndrome.
This study was to conduct a literature review and a theoretical study on 95 environmental education programs currently being run in the metropolitan area and obtained Environmental Education Program Certification of Ministry of Environment. First, the suitability of the environmental education programs was analyzed in terms of the following criteria which the Second National Environmental Education Master Plan propose: strengthening environmental education within the curriculum, strengthening preschooler environmental education, diversification of environmental education among targeted groups, and invigoration of community-based environmental education, and evaluated the contents and the proportion relevant to climate change. Based on the result, the measure for the improvement of the environmental education programs was proposed. As a result of the analysis, there were only 15 programs for children, and 20 programs for adults. Also, only 9% of the children and adult education programs were addressing climate change respectively, which was indicating low percentage. 75 programs were directly related to the school curriculum, and 8 programs were not related to subjects in regular curriculum. Also, considering addressing climate change, 7 out of 11 programs were related to the school curriculum. 71 out of 95 programs were located in the facilities of local governments. Programs that were including the contents relate to climate change were only 11 out of 95 programs. It is necessary to operate programs by expanding environmental education programs targeting children and adults, so all people are took into account, and consider the connectivity between curriculum and environmental education program in South Korea to increase the effectiveness of education. Also, it is necessary to educate people sustainably by relating the programs with various resources which can be utilized in the local community, to include climate change related contents with more proportion, and to address various subjects rather than focusing on one part of the subjects.

Objectives : The purpose of this study was to investigate the change of posture balance and muscular strength before and after exercise by conducting a health gymnastics program for the elderly with chronic diseases of musculoskeletal system. Methods : The subjects of this study were 32 elderly people who had no experience participating in the musculoskeletal system linkage gymnastics program over 65 years old in a rural area in H city, Gyeonggi-do. The data were analyzed by computerized processing with SPSS 23.0. Results : The results of the study were as follows: First, the average of muscular strength before and after gymnastics according to general characteristics was significant in average according to age, presence of spouse, education level, and cohabitation type. Second, the subjects exercised for 2 days a week, and 25.59(±0.51) minutes on average. Third, the change of balance of the face (t=2.993, p=.011), shoulder (t=3.811, p=.002) and pelvic left and right (t=3.584, p=.004) was statistically significant in the posture balance. Fourth, muscular strength was statistically significant in motor function of AMS, SMS, and FMS (p<0.001). Conclusion : Therefore, after applying the health gymnastics program, the improvement of posture balance and muscular strength of the elderly became apparent, so it is necessary to disseminate this gymnastics program. The health gymnastics program is expected to positively improve the quality of life for the elderly.
This study investigated the effects of education program conducted through individual home visit by CHPs, which was developed ,by the operational re-search technique for families of dementia patients. (Yeo Shin Hong et at,1994) The study was conducted in the form of a primary experimental design with 43 people as subjects, including dementia patients and family member in several Myon areas of Chungcheong Namdo between June 10 and August 20, 1994. The data was collected by questionnaires through the home visit by the CHPs. The results of study are as follows. 1. There is no difference in the quality of life between before and after the education program. 2. Role stress 'before the education program' was significantly different than 'after the education program'. 3. There was no difference in the feeling of burden between before and after the education program. 4. There was a significant difference in the abnormal behaviors of patients between before and after the education program. 5. The knowledge of dementia by the patient's family increased significantly after the education program, compared to that of 'before the education program'. 6. There was a significant difference in the attitude of family members toward the education program on dementia between before and after the education program. 7. The results of analysis on the coefficient relationship of various variables showed that the age of patients and family members have a significant correlation with role stress(p=.01). 8. In the subjective evaluation of family members on changes in actual nursing actions and the improvement of knowledge and technique in terms of daily living, (including abnormal behavior of patients, adjustment of environment for patients, activity programs for patients, communication technique with patients, ensuring the safety of patients, clothing, meals and elimination, 60-65% of family members responded that their knowledge had increased. As for improvement in techniques for each item, the technique for communication with patients showed the greatest improvement while the action program method for patients showed the least change. As for the nursing service provided to patients, most respondents showed a positive change. The specific items for which more than 80% respondents answered positively were as follows : recognizing the demand of patients, getting patients to do simple house works, talking softly and gently, removing dangerous things, preparing comfortable clothes that are easy to put on and take off, and limiting water consumption at night. As a result of study, the following suggestions can be made. The purpose of the study was to examine the effect of an education program developed and applied for dementia patients and family members in the community. This needs to be compared with a similar study conducted in the urban setting. In addition, a community service program (ex : nursing hem and shelter) including the application of the education program should be developed and the study done to investigate its effect.
Purpose: The study was performed to identify the process of change, decisional balance and self-efficacy corresponding to the stage of exercise behavior change based on a Transtheoretical Model in middle aged women. Method: The subjects consisted of 317 women by convenience sampling residing in city B. The collected data were analyzed using one-way ANOVA, Scheffe test, and Discriminant analysis by SPSS/WIN program. Result: The subjects were distributed in each stage of change of exercise behaviors: 53 subjects (16.7%) in the precontemplation stage, 86 subjects (27.1%) in the contemplation stage, 88 subjects (27.8%) in the preparation stage, 51 subjects (16.1%) in the action stage and 39 subjects(12.3%) in the maintenance stage. Analysis of variance showed that consciousness raising (F=24.96, p=.00), environmental reevaluation (F=7.l3, p=.00), self reevaluation (F=19.47, p=.00), dramatic relief (F=15.22, p=.00), social liberation (F=4.26, p=.00), counter conditioning (F=26.44, p=.00), a helping relationship (F=13.l7, p=.00), reinforcement management (F=21.25, p=.00), self liberation (F=27.70, p=.00), stimulus control (F=13.49, p=.00), pros (F=14.40, p=.00) and self-efficacy (F=39.9l, p=.00) were significantly associated with the stages of change of exercise behaviors. Through discriminant analysis, it was found that ‘stimulus control’ was the most influential variable in discriminating the five stages of change. Conclusion: This study can provide the basis of a staged matching exercise program using TTM for more effective and useful intervention.

PURPOSE: This examined the effects of a sling exercise based on music on the cognition, physical performance of patients with dementia. METHODS: Thirty subjects with dementia volunteered to participate in this study. All subjects were allocated randomly to either the experimental group or control group, with 15 subjects in each group. All subjects underwent the exercise program for an average of 60 minutes per day for 16 weeks. The experimental group performed sling exercise based on music, and the control group performed the general exercise program. Assessments were made using the Korean version of mini-mental state examination (MMSE-K), 10 m walk test (10MWT), Tinetti mobility test (TMT), and Katz's Index of Independence in activity daily living (KIIADL) to detect changes in the cognitive level and physical performance before and after the 16-week training period. A paired t-test was conducted to compare the within-group change before and after the intervention. An independent t-test was performed to compare the between-group difference. The statistical significance level was set to α=.05 for all variables. RESULTS: The experimental group showed significant within-group changes in the MMSE-K, 10MWT, TMT, and KIIADL (p<.05). The control group showed a significant change in only the KIIADL (p<.05). A significant difference was observed between the experimental group and the control group regarding the change in MMSE-K and KIIADL after the interventions (p<.05). CONCLUSION: A music-based sling exercise program effectively improves cognition, physical performance, and ADL in patients with dementia. Further studies with a wider range of subjects and scientific equipment will be needed to strengthen the results of this study.
Objectives : The purpose of this research was to investigate the effect of oriental medicine public-health program on frozen shoulder patients. Methods : Oriental medicine public-health program was done to 50 frozen shoulder patients who visited Eumseong-gun public health center. Oriental medicine treatment(twice a week for 12 weeks) and prevention-educaiton program was included in public-health program. The schedule was proceeded from 16th March 2010 to 3rd June 2010. The efficacy of program was measured by visual analog scale (VAS), ROM(range of motion), Apley scratch test and Life function score, sleep quality score of their first and last visit. Then we analyzed the improvement in the same group. Results : 1. In VAS change, program showed statistically significant improvement. 2. In ROM(flexion, extension, abduction, adduction) and apley scratch test, program showed statistically significant improvement. 3. In Life function score, program showed statistically significant improvement. 4. In sleep quality score, program also showed improvement, but didn't do statistical significans. Conclusions : The above results suggest that oriental medicine public-health program can be used as effective method for frozen shoulder's treatment and care.
1. Objective This study was performed to research the biological change of forest healing according to Sasang constitution. 2. Methods Forty seven applicants are involved in this study. They were classified into three groups(Soyangin, Taeeumin, Soeumin) by QSCC II. And then they participated in forest healing program from March 26 to March 27 in 2011. We performed before and after experiment, including vital sign, electroencephalography(EEG), heart rate variability(HRV), complete blood cell count(CBC), biochemical test(BC), and stress hormones. 3. Results Men had the relaxative effect of tension. While, the group of women and Soyangin was more sensitive to sudden environmental change than the group of men or other constitutions. The tension of women and soyangin's group increased after the forest healing program. Soeumin group showed reduced diastolic blood pressure after the forest healing program. 3. Conclusions Forest healing program has shown better efficacy in relaxation in men than women, in lowering diastolic blood pressure in Soeumin group than other constitutional groups. However a single positive result within this study should be carefully interpreted.

This study investigates the effect of ASI program on the improvement of gifted students' scientific creative problem solving skill and science learning motivation. ASI developed by reflecting the characteristics of scientific inquiry. The study was aimed at Twenty elementary gifted students from C Gifted Education Program participated in the sixteen sessions of ASI curriculum from June 2010 to October 2010. First, we found that the ASP program is effective to improve the gifted students' scientific creative problem solving skill overall. Specifically, the ASI was effective in the sub-catagories of scientific creative problem solving skills such as 'fluency', 'flexibility', 'originality', and 'appropriateness'. However, there was no significant change in the sub-category of 'reliability' and 'elaborateness' Second, we found that the ASP program is effective to improve the gifted students' sscience learning motivation overall. Specifically, the ASI was effective in the sub-catagories of science problem solving skills such as 'intrinsic motivation', 'correlation with personal goal', 'self-determination', and 'fear of evaluation'. However, there was no significant change in the sub-category of 'extrinsic motivation' and 'self-efficacy'. summary, the ASI program was shown to be effective for improving their scientific creative problem solving skill and scientific learning motivation; This study implies that the ASI curriculum would be a effective tool to help gifted students to improve their ascientific creative problem solving skill and their motivation to learn science.
