Web-based services have fundamentally confidential problems due to characteristics of internet environment such as anonymity. These problems are serious obstacles to grow the web-based services. The security and confidence of web-based services rely on both service provider and users' opinion. But the former has difficulty in trusting the service provider and the latter takes too long time to propagete all users after converging their opinion. Therefore it is necessary to establish the objective and confidential evaluation and certification program for web-based service. In this paper, the internal and external web-based services evaluation and certification programs are compared and analyzed. The critical factors and evaluation methodology for secure and confidential web-based service are identified. Finally, this paper provides the improvement and strategy for web-based services evaluation and certification program.

Since 100PPM Qualify Certification System has been established by the Industrial Advancement Administration in 1995, 1000PPM Quality Innovation Movement has contributed much to the enhancement of quality competitiveness of Korea's parts industry. And in 2000, raised to a higher level, Single PPM Quality Certification System has been established by the Small and Medium Business Administration. Single PPM Qualify Innovation Movement seeks to reduce the number of defects to below 10 out of one million industrial items produced. Ultimately, Single PPM Quality Innovation Movement aims at achieving perfection, by enabling a zero defect rate in industrial production through the participation of all members of an organization. So this study aims to show the tangible and intangible effects of Single PPM Quality Certification System. and to suggest a methodology to improve current problems of Single PPM Quality Innovation Movement.

This study was performed to inquire demand for indroducing certification on contract foodservice management company(CFMC) and review about the system in a related field. The methodology was practiced an in-depth interview for grasping demand on certification of CFMC and composition on an appraiser group. Content analysis was reviewed about the system in a related field. Large enterprises and small and medium-sized enterprises were positive opinion on a certification of CFMC and they suggested that education and research institution, industry, government, association will be included in appraiser group. The review about the system of a related industry was investigated by field such as similar product and service with restaurant industry, similar service with hotel and tourism industry. And similar purpose with a certification of CFMC was put in operation as PQ(pre-qualification) and selecting an adequate corporation in architecture industry. Therefore, a certification of CFMC should be tried to scientific introduction by objective verification.

Purpose - This study analyzed the effect of obtaining international products and qualification certification on exports according to the suitability evaluation system. Recently, non-tariff barriers have emerged as technical barriers, and the Biden administration is trying to achieve export growth and economic growth by utilizing the demand for conformity assessment following the Fourth Industrial Revolution and the free trade system from the perspective of Korea. Design/methodology - This study analyzed the effect of a manufacturer's product certification acquisition on a company's export performance using Resource-Based View-based multiple regression analysis. To this end, concentration validity was confirmed through Factor analysis and Cronbach's alpha, and correlation analysis was performed to verify discriminant validity. Findings - Product certification and qualification have a positive impact on the company's export performance. In particular, technological dynamism and relationship control have had a significant impact. Originality/value - Considering that the Conformity Assessment Management Act will take effect in earnest in 2022, this study is believed to suggest that companies that have been certified to meet international standards may improve their export performance and increase their value in the future. Purpose: This study suggests how to upgrade performance certification technology. Current performance certification of aviation security equipment and the requirements thereof were analyzed. Methods: The performance certification of aviation security equipment worldwide and identified issues with the domestic certification system were compared. The government must upgrade certification in terms of technical standards, the assessment methodology used, and the operating system. Results: Three principal conclusions were drawn. First, certification requirements must be based on a review of the technical literature and real-world experience. Second, development priorities must be set by reference to assessment techniques. Third, both research on the certification system and improvements thereof are essential. Conclusion: Certification of aviation security equipment performance requires gradual upgrading.

During the 21st century, the rapid changes in libraries and the information environment require the reassessment of the education and certification of library and information professionals in order to enhance their competencies. The purpose of this study is to elicit and propose preliminary models in order to improve the librarian certification system in Korea. In doing so, the perceptions among librarians and users were surveyed through an online questionnaire methodology. Based on the results of the survey and analyses, a mid- and a long-term plans for improving the overall library certification system have been proposed.

Purpose - This paper aims to analyze and investigate to find out the appropriate ways to make an easy TBT of smart city. It is an important issue between Korea and China because TBT of smart city has lots of advantages in IT, S/W, IOT, and Home network. Research design, data and methodology - First, the paper made use of reviewing2nd data analysis and focused on group interview, and then compared with analysis on the international rule and system such as smart city system, technical regulation, and standard through test certification procedure and inspection. Second, this paper reviewed electric/electronic test, certification, and calibration. Third, through analyzing MRA between Korea and china, the paper focused on SDoC, Mutual Acceptance of International certification, and IECCB scheme. Results - Through the comparison and analysis, this paper found that it is important to promote multi-track agreements with the countries that need short-term promotion. Moreover, it is necessary to conclude an agreement with the leading countries in Middle East and Central America. Conclusions - Through the above the reviews and analysis, we can see the importance of promotion in FTA and MRA with the efforts to remove the obstacles and promote to make an easy TBT by MRA between Korea and China.

A small integral reactor SMART (System Integrated Modular Advanced ReacTor), being developed in Korea since late 1990s and targeted to obtaining a standard design approval by the end of 2011, is introduced. The design scope and level for design certification (DC) is well described in the U.S. NRC SECY documents published the early 1990s. However, the documents are valid for a one-step licensing process called a combined operating license (COL) by the U.S. NRC, while Korea still uses a two-step licensing process. Thus, referencing the concept of the SECY documents, we have established the design scope and level for the SMART DC using the contexts of the standard review plan (SRP). Some examples of the results and issues raised during our review are briefly presented in this paper. The same methodology will be applied to other types of reactor under development in Korea, such as future VHTR reactors.

Purpose - The paper aims to explore the critical and uncover issues encountered to the supply-chain companies in launching halal based services in India. Research design, data, and methodology - After a meticulous review of relevant literature on the halal concept and halal logistics, researchers involved in a data collection by conducting semi-structured focus group interviews. Four groups with a maximum of 5 members each have chosen from the areas of transportation, warehousing, certification, and packaging. A total of 20 questionnaires were collected by applying purposive sampling method. Results - More than 95 percent of the chosen focus groups agreed that they know only about halal but don't have any exposure to halal logistics. The discussion has revealed that the adoption rate for halal transportation, warehousing, halal certification, and packaging is almost zero. The respondents were chosen only from transportation, warehousing, certification and packaging companies from south India which are operating throughout India. This research never attempts to be acquainted with the opinions of channel members who directly or indirectly involved in meeting customer demands. Conclusions - This is a ground-breaking effort aimed to study the critical issues related to Indian halal logistics which is beneficial to both logistic companies as well as to the academic world.
