Development of Safety and Environment Index for Vehicle Inspection Data Using Statistical Methods (통계적 분석 기법을 활용한 자동차 검사 안전지수 및 환경지수 개발)

  • It is important to guarantee the safety of vehicle to minimize the damage to the driver in case of the accidents. In order to inspect and later enhance the safety of vehicle, the owner of the vehicle usually have a vehicle safety inspection. The Korea Transportation Safety Authority (KOTSA) issues the Comprehensive Performance Inspection Certificate after vehicle inspection. The certificate only specify the legal inspection criteria for safety and measured values of the safety parameters, however, as ordinary driver in lack of expert knowledge about the vehicle is difficult to understand the contents of the Certificate. Thus, in this paper, the authors try to give the information about the inspection results in easier way to understand. This information not only guarantees the owner of the vehicle to better understand the inspection results, but it also gives the opportunity to the driver to deal with the specific problem listed in the results. The methods in this paper are to transform the vehicle inspection data into the non parametric distribution to easily represent the values to the index later on. Also, example indexes are presented to the actually inspected vehicle based on the reference distribution to show the better assessment of the developed method.

  • As FTA is spreading, it is becoming more and more necessary to improve the accuracy and reliability of the country of origin information at the domestic trading stage in preparation for the actual surveys expected to surge in the near future. However, there are many problems in collecting and managing information related to origin. It is pointed out that the shortage of export-oriented profits and the incentive for issuance of FTA-related profits, as well as the lack of information on the distribution and management of origin information of domestic manufacturing companies are also pointed out as important causes. In this paper, we propose a method to improve the efficiency of management and circulation of smooth FTA origin (comprehensive) certificate of Korean companies and to improve reliability through manipulation prevention by building prototype of origin information management system based on private block chain Hyperledger. The block chain, called Distributed Ledger or Trusted Internet, provides a technical infrastructure that enables various related companies to distribute origin information with high reliability and immediate distribution in the supply chain, but research on its application is still in the beginning stage.

  • Interworking Web Application to share the resource between Battlefield Management Systems(BMS) is critical issues for accomplishment of information superior. However, authentication system of BMS differ from each other because of having the independent plan for system build. This problem causes inefficiency such as the information insufficiency owing to not share web application and the need of additional laptops. To solve the problem, in this paper, we propose the improved certificate acquisition and verification algorithm for the user of different BMS. By testing the proposed algorithm appling to the real field, we verify the performance of proposed method.

  • In this paper. proposes Multi_Kerberos certification mechanism that improve certification service of based on PKINIT that made public in IETF CAT Working Group. This paper proposed to a certificate other realm because search position of outside realm through DNS and apply X.509 directory certification system, to get public key from DNS server by chain (CertPath) between realms by certification and key exchange way that provide service between realms applying X.509, DS/DNS of based on PKINIT, in order to provide regional services. This paper proposed mechanism that support efficient certification service about cross realm including key management. the path generation and construction of Certificate using Validation Server, and recovery of Session Key. A Design of Multi_Kerberos system that have effects simplify of certification formality that reduce procedures on communication.

The Study on Improvement Plan of FTA Origin Information Management System (FTA 원산지정보 관리체계 개선방안에 관한 연구)

  • There has not been enough distribution of documentary evidence of origin at the stage of domestic transaction yet due to the exporter bias of interest in utilizing FTA and shortage of attracting their issues, etc. although about more ten years has passed since Korea-Chile FTA was running. Furthermore, in case of issued and distributed documentary evidence of origin, the accuracy was doubt, so it contains various problems like errors in the certificate of origin issued by the final exporter. Accordingly, this study was to find out the limitations of 'declaration of origin third party confirmation system' operated in order to solve problems of lacking the management ability of origin place of the domestic supplier and improve the accuracy of certificate of origin (comprehensive), and to investigate a method of improvement. To achieve this, this study was to suggest the institutional complementary plans for distribution activation and error prevention on the declaration of origin and introduction plan of loss prevention plan due to the errors in the certificate of origin that the final exporter did not intend in the domestic areas in order to support the use of FTA smoothly for our enterprises.

Management Method for Private Key File of PKI using Container ID of USB memory (USB 메모리의 컨테이너ID를 이용한 PKI 기반의 개인키 파일의 안전한 관리 방안)

  • Mosts user of internet and smart phone has certificate, and uses it when money transfer, stock trading, on-line shopping, etc. Mosts user stores certificate in a hard disk drive of PC, or the external storage medium. In particular, the certification agencies are encouraged for user to store certificate in external storage media such as USB memory rather than a hard disk drive. User think that the external storage medium is safe, but when it is connect to a PC, certificate may be copied easily, and can be exposed to hackers through malware or pharming site. Moreover, if a hacker knows the user's password, he can use user's certificate without restrictions. In this paper, we suggest secure management scheme of the private key file using a password of the encrypted private key file, and a USB Memory's hardware information. The private key file is protected safely even if the encrypted private key file is copied or exposed by a hacker. Also, if the password of the private key file is exposed, USB Memory's container ID, additional authentication factor keeps the private key file safe. Therefore, suggested scheme can improve the security of the external storage media for certificate.

  • 현재 그리드 컴퓨팅 툴킷으로 사용되고 있는 Globus는 PKI (Public Key Infrastructure) 기반의 인증방식을 이용하고 있다. PKI 인증방식은 통합 인증 기능(Single Sign-On)을 구현하기에 적당하지만, 그리드에 참여하는 수많은 컴퓨터와 사용자들의 공개키 인증서(public key certificate)를 발급하고 관리해야하는 부담이 따른다. 본 연구에서는 인증기관이 사용자에게 인증서를 발급하고, 인증서를 관리하는 과정을 자동화 해 줄 수 있는 시스템을 개발하고, 다양한 클라이언트에 서비스 제공을 위해 웹서비스를 통한 인터페이스 기능을 새로 추가하였다.

  • 본 논문에서는 PKI(Public Key Infrastructure)의 주요 응용 프로토콜 중에서, 인증서를 발급하고 인증서를 전달하는 절차, 인증기관간의 믿음을 확장하기 위한 상호 인증과 관련된 절차, 인증기관이 인증서를 발급 받는 최종개체의 공개키에 대응되는 개인키를 소유하고 있음을 증명하는 개인키 소유 증명(POP: Proof Of Propession)절차, 인증기관의 암호키 생신을 위한 절차 등과 같은 인증서에 대한 관리 프로토콜(CMP: Certificate Management Protocol)에 대하여 중점적으로 논의 하고자 한다.

Service Identification Method for Encrypted Traffic Based on SSL/TLS (SSL/TLS 기반 암호화 트래픽의 서비스 식별 방법)

  • The SSL/TLS, one of the most popular encryption protocol, was developed as a solution of various network security problem while the network traffic has become complex and diverse. But the SSL/TLS traffic has been identified as its protocol name, not its used services, which is required for the effective network traffic management. This paper proposes a new method to generate service signatures automatically from SSL/TLS payload data and to classify network traffic in accordance with their application services. We utilize the certificate publication information field in the certificate exchanging record of SSL/TLS traffic for the service signatures, which occurs when SSL/TLS performs Handshaking before encrypt transmission. We proved the performance and feasibility of the proposed method by experimental result that classify about 95% SSL/TLS traffic with 95% accuracy for every SSL/TLS services.

BIM application in Quantitative Assessment of High-Speed Information and Communication Criteria for Building Certification

  • As buildings become increasingly diverse in size and type, a continuous process of generating and processing various information within these structures occurs. This process is being addressed with the advancement of high-speed information and communication technology, which is being extensively applied in buildings. Such changes are institutionalized through the certification of high-speed information and communication buildings. This certification is crucial for ensuring the quality and connectivity of the essential communication infrastructure in modern buildings. Building Information Modeling (BIM) has established itself as an effective tool for the integrated management of design, construction, and operation in architectural projects. This research aims to refine and categorize the evaluation criteria suitable for the building certification based on high-speed information and communication criteria and to explore the applicability of BIM tools based on these criteria. By enhancing the substitution and connection of each library, the functionalities of BIM programs for a comprehensive review of information and communication facilities are expected to be applied in a more utilitarian direction.
