  • Today, the development of industries and rapid urbanization has a profound impact on the human environment. It can be said that the environment in the craft village is most affected. The environment in these areas is severely degraded and depending on the type of production, the environment in the craft villages is different. In Phong Khe ward of Bac Ninh Province, Vietnam, there are over 204 small and large facilities of recycling and producing paper. The paper facilities produce about 200,000 tons of paper each year and the amount of paper produced is not less than 500 tons each day in Phong Khe. They are creating livelihoods for more than 6,000 workers and generating local budgets from VND- 50 billion to VND 60 billion per year. Despite this great contribution, the use of old machines and "backward" modes of production means that paper recycling has caused serious air, soil, and water pollution in the region. The specific objectives of this study were as follows: (1) provide an overview of paper production process in the Phong Khe paper craft village; (2) comprehensive literature review of the current status of water environment, atmosphere environment, soil environment and solid waste; (3) figure out about waste treatment in Phong Khe ward.

With this the same small capital currently as the city and the area where the quality of the rural village coexists, has the regional quality which belongs in guard of the capital region or strong-point city. With relative estrangement from the support process against this result past falling behind farming village it does not illustrate the possibility of knowing the fact that the duplex point who is falling behind as guard territory of reverse appears. Selects the small capital of the each area from like this point of view and the possibility of knowing center role of traditional market the possibility which is various is the possibility of doing in the process which propels an activation. • In this article I would like to propose the characteristics of "Village Council(Consejo del Pueblo)" as a sociopolitical device and institution, which maintains and encompasses all aspects of governance in a decentralized authority. A brief definition of Village Council is a "select group of people from the same village who are in charge of deciding the most important affairs of the village". The Village Council took charge of the most fundamental aspects of prehispanic Mayan society, most significantly, during the Late Postclassical era. The members of this council were respected people from the village, but not necessarily the people who held high positions within the hierarchical structure of Mayan society. It is likely that they were selected by the public in a direct way. This is the most essential bureaucratic institution in terms of the control of the political and socioeconomical affairs. The important decisions regarding legislation, the governance and jurisdiction of the village were entrusted to the council. Especially, the Village Council was responsible for monitoring and punishing the abuses of village governors. The majority of the members of the council were elders, consequently, the council was a political institution, more powerful than the governorships. The "Multepal" of Yucatán, could be an example of the Village Council during the late postclassic period.

  • We have observed the seropositive rate of Taenia solium cysticercosis in residents at Nabo Village, Tiandong County, Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region, China by enzyme linked immunosorbent assay. The village had been found to be a relatively high endemic area of porcine cysticercosis among roaming pigs. Of 202 persons examined four males aged 15, 25, 35 and 41 year-old exhibited absorbance (abs) at 0.18, 0.20, 0.35 and 0.55, respectively. In addition, two females whose ages were 35 and 39 years revealed specific antibody levels of abs 0.26 and 0.41 in their sera. Overall positive rate among the people was $2.97\%$. All of these persons agreed that they had ingested the pork infected with T. solium metacestode (TsM), while history of proglottid discharge was not noticed from all of them. Three males and one female complained of intermittent headache. Our findings reinforced not only that the prevalence of cysticercosis might be related with roaming pigs infected with TsM but also that behavioral and environmental practices in local community constituted risk factors for transmission of the infection.

  • Purpose: This case study was done to describe the health survey conducted by a community health practitioner. Methods: The community health survey was carried out from April 16 to May 31, 2018 with face to face interviews done by 48 trained senior nursing students. Results: Compared with other regions, rates for chronic disease prevalence, chewing discomfort, falls, and depression were higher than those of the relevant district/the relevant city, and the whole country. It is encouraging that the treatment rate for hypertension, diabetes, and hyperlipidemia, and walking practice rate were higher than those other regions. Those who participated in village events had low stress, and those who participated in health promotion programs had a higher quality of life. Conclusion: The community health practitioner in the public health center post needs to operate health promotion programs continuously. Programs including chronic disease management, fall prevention, depression control, and oral health management should be emphasized, and ways to increase social participation, including participation in village events should be developed.

  • In rural settlement planning, its spatial development framework should be constructed on the basis of the hierachial settlement system. However, up to now, there does not exist widely - accepted model on rural settlement hierachy. In this study the basic planning principles and directions on the modelling of the settlement hireachy in rural areas have been consolidated through theoretical study and situational analysis on planning environments. And also, a new yardstick on the grading of the middle - level centers between villages and rural towns has been tried to find out. The research resulted that the existance of periodical rural market might be used as a simple and innovative yardstick on the hierachial ordering of rural settlement system. Based on the above results, an alternative 4 - step model of rural settlement hierachy was proposed ; Rural Town(county hall sitted) -Market Center(having standard periodical market) - Village Center(having no market) - Village. Finally, because the conclusion has been made by very limited case studies and several previous works, there should need continuous studies and checks in future for full reasoning of the proposed model.
