In the paper, after we propose a viterbi decoder which has multiple buffering and parallel processing decoding scheme through expanding time-divided imput signal, and map a FPGA, we implement a channel coding system together with PC-based software. Continuous input signal is buffered as order of decoding length and is parallel decoded using a high speed cell for viterbi decoding. Output data rate increases linearly with the cell formed the viterbi decoder, and flexible operation can be satisfied by programming controller and modifying input buffer. The tell for viterbi decoder consists of HD block for calculating hamming distance, CM block for calculating value in each state, TB block for trace-back operation, and LIFO. The implemented cell of viterbi decoder used 351 LAB(Logic Arrary Block) and stably operated in maximum 139MHz in APEX20KC EP20K600CB652-7 FPGA of ALTERA. The whole viterbi decoder including viterbi decoding cells, input/output buffers, and a controller occupied the hardware resource of $23\%$ and has the output data rate of 1Gbps.
A case of fine needle aspiration cytology of an osteoclastic giant cell tumor of pancreas, which is an uncommon variant of ductal adenocarcinoma, is described. Aspirated tumor cells were characterized by three populations: (1) bland osteoclast like giant cells with multiple small, round nuclei with distinct nucleoli, and abundant cytoplasm, (2) Individually scattered or loosely clustered medium sized mononuclear tumor cells, having fine chromatin, smooth nuclear membrane, often prominent nucleoli, and high N/C ratio, (3) bland or atypical spindle shaped cells. Osteoid like lacy material was also seen on cell block section. The immunohistochemical studies using paraffin embedded cell block section showed positivities for vimentin and lysozyme in both giant and mononuclear turner cells. However, they were negative for cytokeratin, epithelial membrane antigen, S-100 protein, carcinoembryonic antigen, and p53.

Satellite communication is getting more important in the coming 21st century because of its wide areas sevice capability, ease of access, and fast channel establishment. As such, satellite communication networks will be the basis of the global communication system in cooperation with the ground ATM networks. In this paper, we consider an efficient transmission methodology of ATM cells over the satellite communication channel. We first analyze possible bottlenecks and performance deterioration factors in the case, and then propose an enhanced cell trasmission mechanism. In order to use satellite channel for ATM cell transmission, the application of complicated channel coding is inevitable. However, the forwared error control such as convolutional encoding brings forth burst errors, which calls for the application of some kind of interleaving mechanism to randomize the burst errors at the receiver. Another aspect which should b econsidered in satellite communication system is the inherent transmission delay, which can be very considered in satellite communication system is te inherent transmission delay, which can be very critical to the delay-sensitive ATM traffic. Therefore, we propose that the processing delay at the block interleaving stage should be controlled propose a variable-size block interleaving mechanism which utilizes the predicted transmission delay for each traffic in the queues of the transmitter. According to the computer simulation, the proposed mechanism could improve the overall performance by drastically reducing the ATM cell drop rate owing to the excessive transmission delay.
In this paper, we introduce the PB/MC-CDMA (Partial Block/Multi-Carrier-Code Division Multiple Access) system to mitigate inter-cell interference (ICI) and enhance user capacity in the small cell environment. In 5G mobile communications, the number of devices connected to the network is expected to increase exponentially with the expansion of the IoT (Internet of Things) services. In addition, each device is expected to be required by the various data rates by their content types. In LTE/LTE-A, there are some limitations that large scale connectivity and supporting various data rates. Therefore, we introduce a PB/MC-CDMA physical layer system which is suitable for the small cell environment, and evaluate the performance in the multi cell environment which is affected by ICI. Through computer simulation results, we demonstrate the effectiveness of PB/MC-CDMA for the small cell environment.

There are many methods for speed up counting in speech recongition. A multiple processing method is the one way to achieve the aim using systolic array. This arithmetic operation by the array is achieved pipelining skill. And the operation is multiprocessing by processing element(PE) that is incresing counting efficiencies. The DTW PE cell is seperated into three large blocks. "MIN" is the one block for counting accumulated minimum distance, "ADD" block calculated these minimum distances, and "ABS" seeks for the absolut values to the total sum of local distances. We have accomplished circuit design and verification about the "ADD" and "ABS" blocks, and performed total layout '||'&'||' DRC(design rule check) using 3um CMOS N-Well rule base.le check) using 3$\mu$m CMOS N-Well rule base.
To achieve targeted drug delivery for chemotherapy, a ligand-mediated nanoparticulate drug carrier was designed, which could identity a specific receptor on the surfaces of tumor cells. Biodegradable poly(ethylene oxide)/poly$({\varepsilon}-caprolactone)$ (PEG/PCL) amphiphilic block copolymers coupled to biotin ligands were synthesized with a variety of PEG/PCL compositions. Block copolymeric nanoparticles harboring the anticancer drug paclitaxel were prepared via micelle formation in aqueous solution. The size of the biotin-conjugated PEG/PCL nanoparticles was determined by light scattering measurements to be 88-118 nm, depending on the molecular weight of the block copolymer, and remained less than 120 nm even after paclitaxel loading. From an in vitro release study, biotin-conjugated PEG/PCL nanoparticles containing paclitaxel evidenced sustained release profiles of the drug with no initial burst effect. The biotin-conjugated PEG/PCL block copolymer itself evidenced no significant adverse effects on cell viability at $0.005-1.0{\mu}g/mL$ of nanoparticle suspension regardless of cell type (normal human fibroblasts and HeLa cells). However, biotin-conjugated PEG/PCL harboring paclitaxel evidenced a much higher cytotoxicity for cancer cells than was observed in the PEG/PCL nanoparticles without the biotin group. These results showed that the biotin-conjugated nanoparticles could improve the selective delivery of paclitaxel into cancer cells via interactions with over-expressed biotin receptors on the surfaces of cancer cells.

To confirm the overcome of in vitro 2-cell block, ICR mouse I-cell embryos were cultured in CZB media. All embryos in CZB were overcome in vitro 2-cell block and 92% of embryos were developed to the blastocyst at day 4. However, in m-KRB group(control) only 20% of embryos were developed over 2-cell. Any embryos in m-KRB did not develop to the morular stage. Developments and degenerations of ICR mouse I-cell embryos were compared in CZB medium prepared with water of three quality:(l) Milli-Q ultrafiltration water(UF);(2) Milli-Q reverse osmosis water(RO);(3) tap water(TAP). The objective was to evaluate the potential of quality control using ICR mouse 1-cell embryos. The more water was purified, the better embryo developments were supported and the less embryos were degenerated. As a quality control system, the culture of ICR 1-cell mouse embryos in CZB was useful.

Barley stripe mosaic virus (BSMV) induces massive actin filament thickening at the infection front of infected Nicotiana benthamiana leaves. To determine the mechanisms leading to actin remodeling, fluorescent protein fusions of the BSMV triple gene block (TGB) proteins were coexpressed in cells with the actin marker DsRed: Talin. TGB ectopic expression experiments revealed that TGB3 is a major elicitor of filament thickening, that TGB2 resulted in formation of intermediate DsRed:Talin filaments, and that TGB1 alone had no obvious effects on actin filament structure. Latrunculin B (LatB) treat-ments retarded BSMV cell-to-cell movement, disrupted actin filament organization, and dramatically decreased the proportion of paired TGB3 foci appearing at the cell wall (CW). BSMV infection of transgenic plants tagged with GFP-KDEL exhibited membrane proliferation and vesicle formation that were especially evident around the nucleus. Similar membrane proliferation occurred in plants expressing TGB2 and/or TGB3, and DsRed: Talin fluorescence in these plants colocalized with the ER vesicles. TGB3 also associated with the Golgi apparatus and overlapped with cortical vesicles appearing at the cell periphery. Brefeldin A treatments disrupted Golgi and also altered vesicles at the CW, but failed to interfere with TGB CW localization. Our results indicate that actin cytoskeleton interactions are important in BSMV cell-to-cell movement and for CW localization of TGB3.

This study is concerned with the development of efficient p-median approach to nondegenerate cell formation(CF) in group technology(GT) manufacturing. Unlike most of existing CF methodologies allowing degenerate cells or families that contains no parts or machines, this study attempts to find cell configuration where each machine cell contains at least two or more machines processing at least two or more parts so as to fully utilize the similarity in designing and processing parts. Nondegenerate CF seeks to minimize both the exceptional elements outside the diagonal block and the voids within the diagonal block. To find nondegenerate cells, a two-phase p-median methodology is proposed. In phase 1, the classical p-median model is implemented to find initial cells. In phase 2, bottleneck machines and parts are reassigned until no further degenerate cells and families are found. Test results on moderately medium-sized CF problems show the substantial efficiency of the proposed approach.
