This study aimed to explore the essence and phenomena that the mothers of children with Asperger's disorder subjectively perceive. Interviews were conducted 2~3 times on the mothers of children diagnosed as Asperger's disorder during six months from August 2012 through February 2013. As a result of analysis with phenomenological method of Colaizzi, the essence of parenting experience of mothers of children with Asperger's disorder was interpreted as 'walking through a cave in shining dim light by hand in hand with a child who was from another star' and were drawn into 18 categories from 6 themes. The six themes turned out to be 'meeting with a unique child from another star', 'jumping into the world with a child seemingly not different but still different', 'finding answers and revising plans', 'passing through a tunnel with no end in sight', 'small consolation in a hard journey', and 'walking together by accepting limitations.' Based on these results, practical and political interventions in parenting children with Asperger's disorder were suggested.

Tectaria fuscipes (Wall. ex Bedd.) C. Chr. (Baek-Rok-Go-Sa-Ri) is newly reported in Korea. This species belongs to the genus Tectaria Cav. of the family Tectariaceae Panigrahi. Thus far, no taxa of Tectariaceae have been reported in Korea. Tectaria fuscipes is characterized by its suberect to ascending rhizome, dimorphic or subdimorphic fronds, and free veins. The species was found on the southwestern slopes of Mt. Halla on Jeju Island, where it grows in sun near a small cave. It also occurs in southern China and in Taiwan. In Japan, eight species of the genus Tectaria have been reported, but T. fuscipes has yet to be recorded there. Jeju Island is the northeastern-most limit of the known range of this species.

"Bonchogyeongjipju(本草經集注)" is a pharmacological classic published in the Southern and Northern Dynasties(南北朝時代, 420-589 A.D.) in China by Dohonggyeong(陶弘景, 456-536 A.D.). In "Bonchogyeongjipju(本草經集注)", Dohonggyeong(陶弘景) edited "Sinnongbonchogyeong(神農本草經)", the earliest classical text about material medica containing notes for 365 drugs, by adding another 365 drugs and further information from "Myeong-uibyeollok(名醫別錄)" and writing extended commentaries on them. His commentaries include changes in the geographical distribution, identification of varieties and other various special characteristics. The original text had gradually disappeared after other pharmacological classics were published such as "Sinsuboncho(新修本草)", in Dang Dynasty(唐代), "Gyeongsajeungryubigeupboncho(經史證類備急本草)" in Song Dynasty(宋代). All of these books were based on "Bonchogyeongjipju(本草經集注)", so the original text can be seen indirectly through these later sources. In the early 1900's, a transcribed manuscript of the preface "Bonchogyeongjipju(本草經集注)" was found almost wholly preserved except the first three lines, in the Makgo(莫高) cave of Donhwang(敦煌). Broken strips of transcribed "Bonchogyeongjipju(本草經集注)" have also been excavated in Turfan[吐魯番], which shows its original form written in red and black ink. Mayanagi Makoto[眞柳誠] researched on Donhwang(敦煌) and Turfan[吐魯番] editions, ascertained their existence and explained their bibliographical and historical facts. Sangjigyun(尙志鈞) restored "Bonchogyeongjipju(本草經集注)" based on other related sources such as Donhwang(敦煌) and Turfan[吐魯番] editions. " Bonchogyeongjipju(本草經集注)" can be said as the locus classicus(典範) of herbal medicine, that is most of the following materia medica was based on it. It makes it possible to pass down "Sinnongbonchogyeong(神農本草經)" to posterity and provide a foundation for herbal medical development.
Jecheon is a place of Korean Medicine with many historical characters, medical tales and cultures. One of the most renowned characters is Lee Gong Gi(李公沂), a 扈聖功臣 (title given to the 86 people that escorted king Seonjo during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592) at the level of Huh Jun(許浚) and famous royal physician of Joseon who served King Seonjo and reached the highest position of chief physician. He was recognized for his talent as a royal physician and was conferred with the title of 扈聖功臣 Rank 3 after attending on King Seonjo during the Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. Despite the fact that he was a renowned man of medicine, he didn't get as much attention as 許浚 or Yang Ye Soo(楊禮壽) because documents on his work had not been studied. In this study, the author was able to study Lee Gong Gi(李公沂) based on documents such as "朝鮮王朝實錄(True Record of the Joseon Dynasty)", "內醫院先生案(Naeeuiwonseonsengan)", "醫科先生案(Euigwaseonsengan)" and on "避難行錄(Pinanhengrok)" by Yakpo Jeongtak (1526~1605) who was a govemmental pharmacist at the time of Japanese Invasion of Korea in 1592. According to "內醫院先生案" and "醫科先生案", Lee Gong Gi's son Lee Young Nam followed his father's footsteps and became the chief royal pharmacist and 崇政大夫(one of the governmental titles of Joseon Dynasty). As for Jecheon's Korean medical traditions, many forms of medical tales and cultures are preserved such as the tales of Neokgogae, Mountain Ami's medical water cave, Otmaru and Seonsimgol. These tales are divided into various types of great doctors, medical herbs and devoted sons and have been passed down With the origin of traditional medicine still intact. Moreover, ancient documents and artifacts on Traditional Korean Medicine that reflect the area's medical culture have been discovered. Not only is Jecheon a place of medical culture but along with Jecheon Drug Market it also carries on the tradition of medical herbs production and possesses the largest new medical herbs market in Korea. In conclusion, Jecheon is a traditional place of Korean Medicine with many medical cultures and characters from a unique history.

Three unrecorded fern species from the flora of Korea, Nephrolepis cordifolia, Athyrium epirhachis, and Asplenium castaneo-viride, are reported here. Nephrolepis cordifolia, recognized as introduced species and cultivation in Korea until now, is found in the wild at the entrance of small cave in Jeju island. Athyrium epirhachis is found under the Quercus acuta forest at about 400 - 500 m alt. in Jeju island. This species is similar to A. otophorum but different from the latter by having once pinnately divided leaf blade and the decurrent base of ultimate segment. Asplenium castaneo-viride is hybrid between A. ruprechtii and A. incisum and is distinguished from parental species by presence of proliferation, shape of leaf blade, pattern of venation, and leaf texture.

An algific talus slope is composed of broken rocks with vents connected to an ice cave, releasing cool air in summer and relatively warmer air in winter to maintain a more stable microclimate all year round. Such geological features create a very unusual and delicate ecosystem. Although there are around 25 major algific talus slopes in Korea, lichen ecology of these areas had not been investigated to date. In this study, we report the first exploration of lichen diversity and ecology at an algific talus slope, Jangyeol-ri, in Korea. A total of 37 specimens were collected over 2017-2018. Morphological and sequencing analysis revealed 27 species belonging to 18 genera present in the area. Of particular interest among these species was Solorina saccata, as it has previously not been reported in Korea and most members of genus Solorina are known to inhabit alpine regions of the Northern Hemisphere. We provide here a taxonomic key for S. saccata alongside molecular phylogenetic analyses and prediction of potential habitats in South Korea. Furthermore, regions in South Korea potentially suitable for Solorina spp. were predicted based on climatic features of known habitats around the globe. Our results showed that the suitable areas are mostly at high altitudes in mountainous areas where the annual temperature range does not exceed 26.6 ℃. Further survey of other environmental conditions determining the suitability of Solorina spp. should lead to a more precise prediction of suitable habitats and trace the origin of Solorina spp. in Korea.

This paper is a study on structural measurement by using a terrestrial camera. The aim of this paper is to understand the method of a composition by analyzing the geometrical compositive ratio of threestoried pagodas at Gamun-Sa, Gosun-Sa, Bulguk-Sa, Seated iron Buddha in Kwang-Jn, and Main-Seat Buddha at Sukkuram Cave-temple. Measured data and contour maps are accurately obtained by means of photogrammetry, and the following points are able to he found by analyzing them. At first, for Stone Pagodas. the breaths of the Okgesuks are made to the ratio, 8 : 7 : 6. And when an equililateral triangle and an 45$^{\circ}$ isosceles triangle are drawn of which the bases are the length of the upper Gabsuk, and then a circle is drawn whose radius is the length between the vertexes of the two triangles and its center is the vertex of the former the circle passes the upper line of the third Oksin. Also it can be found that an $70^{\circ}$ isosceles triangle being drawn at base line, the triangle passes the edge point of the upper Gabsuk and the center of the third Okgesuk. Also for Budha statues, it can be found that circles whose center is that of eyes can be drawn, and if 2 lines which pass the shoulder and the center of Buddha's body are extended, they intersect the knees.

John William Waterhouse (1849-1917) is a painter renown for his romantic beautiful femme fatale images in the late 19th century in England. The purpose of this study is to examine the fashion in Waterhouse's femme fatale images. Waterhouse displays the devilism of femme fatale by the symbols of a wicked woman. He emphasized how wicked she is by means of water such as lake, river, and sea as well as symbols associated with demons such as forest, cave, naked woman, long hair, a monster-headed woman looking like an animal, water lily, and garden. On the other hand, he illustrates the woman's style as an image of a typical feminine beauty. Expressing naturally a fine-curved, immature girl's body with marvel-like white and clear skin in a kneeling down or crouching passive rose and depicting it as an innocent and fragile feminine image, he created a passive and lovely image of a young girl. With her eminent beauty and sex appeals, she lured men into danger. Words such as evil, women, and death had been used in describing her as femme fatale to emphasize her wickedness as well as to deliver the meaning across from the inside and to the outside. They also described her as a type of woman with body posture and fashion corresponding to the sexual ideology during the Victorian Age. His description of this fashion image was to show that femme fatale's fashion, which represents attraction and fatality, does not necessarily translate to an active fashion style that emphasizes sensuality. It also tends to minimize resistance and feelings of being threatened. Therefore, it allons us to acknowledge that even girlish body with innocent and frail-looking fashion can be a form of femme fatale, and that fashion styles is essential in forming the image of femininity.
