This study was proceeded to analyze thixotropy of cement paste according to the addition timing of PVA and borax as a basic study of thixotropy of concrete. According to experiment results, the case added borax first and PVA later is that cement paste shows low thixotorpy, and the case added PVA first and borax later is that cement paste shows thixotropy but in certain mix condition fluidity of decrease due to a chemical bond between PVA and borax. The case add PVA and borax simultaneously is that cement paste was expressed thixotropy in all mix condition. Therefore the case add PVA and borax simultaneously is suitable for expressing thixotropy of cement paste.
With the rapid increase of tourists for sport participation, sporting resort is becoming popular and a related industry is improving. However, sporting resorts have been faced managerial challenges to survive in the competitive sport tourism markets. One of the key issues is to develop an effective marketing mix for resorts to be suitable for sporting tourists. Hence, the current study analyzed a marketing mix of sporting resort, identified its strategies for segmentation, targeting, and positioning, and finally suggested the effective methods for STP. For the study, PyeongChang Alpensia Resort is selected as a case. The study reviewed the documents and online journals that have covered Alpensia Resort. Via literature review, current marketing mix of Alpensia Resort was identified and its current strategies of STP further were analyzed. For the validity of the results, three experts reviewed the results. Given the decent procedures, firstly, the study suggested that Alpensia Resort needs to seek to develop products that can appeal to MICE industry. Second, Alpensia needs to build all-in-one image by providing products and accommodations including lodging, shopping, ski and related sport programs. Third, Alpensia can seek to enhance marketing mix for inbound sport tourists. Conclusions and implications are further discussed.

In this research, considering the practical conditions at field, thermal cracking reducing method was suggested based on the comparative analysis between predicted value and actual value obtained from the actual structure member with optimum mix design. The optimum mix design was deduced from the various mix designs with various proportions of cementitious binder for upper and lower placement lifts of mat-foundation mass concrete. Therefore, before field applications, the mix designs were obtained from the theoretical analysis obtained by MIDAS GEN for upper lift was OPC to FA of 85 to 15, and for lower lift was OPC to FA to BS of 50 : 20 : 30. Based on this mix design, the actual concrete for field was determined and all concrete properties were reached within the predicted range. Especially, the temperature properties of mass concrete at core was approximately $39^{\circ}C$ of temperature difference for low-heat mix design, while approximately $54^{\circ}C$ was shown for normal mix design currently used. Additionally, in the case of cracking index, the low heat mix design showed about 1.4 of relatively high value while the normal mix design showed 1.0. Therefore, it can be stated that applying low heat mix design and different heating technique between upper and lower placement lifts for mass concrete are efficient to control the thermal cracking.

The purpose of this study is investigating characteristics of the concrete containing Fly-ash according to different 4 mix design, that is, the first mix design is partial replace Fly-ash of cement, second is partial replace Fly-ash of cement and fine aggregate, third is partial replace Fly-ash of fine aggregate, fourth partial replacement of fine and coarse aggregate. For this purpose, selected test variables were water-binder ratio with two levels of 45%, 50%, and Fly-ash contents with four levels 0%, 10%, 20%, 30%, As the result of this study are as follow. 1) The result of mix design of a partial replacement of cement, the slump-flow value was appeared a promotive effect of viscosity. But in case of the over with Fly-ash 10% and the other mix design was not changed slump value. 2) The unit weight of the mixing rate with Fly-ash 0% was $1.875{\sim}1.884t/m^3$, the other mix design 10% over with Fly-ash was $1.846{\sim}1.615t/m^3$, the difference was appeared less about 15% than that. 3) In design, partial replace Fly-ash of fine aggregate, this compressive strength was appeared that the concrete age after 7 days was higher than in partial replacement of cement, therefore, the default of a concrete with Fly-ash, that is the earlier compressive strength was to lessen, was improved. 4) The thermal conductivity of the all mix design was $0.447{\sim}1.144kcal/mh^{\circ}C$, this value was as good as a lightweight aggregate concrete.

The concrete mix should be designed and produced to reflect the specific site conditions during concrete placement. That is, the concrete mix design should be planned considering temperatures, work environments, pouring methods, etc. The objective of this research is to understand the external factors of curing temperature and delay time that influence concrete strengths during pouring work, and provide concrete mix design that can be most robust to the effects of external factors. The Taguchi's robust method is used in preparing the concrete mix design to achieve the research objective. In a case study, an indoor concrete test was performed to find the optimal combination of concrete mixes with external factors of curing temperature and delay time. Concrete test cylinders were made to test concrete strengths given different external factors. The study results showed that the optimal performance of concrete strength can be achieved by applying the robust method when preparing a concrete mix design.

Recently damages caused by the additional costs and degradation in durability combined deterioration due to plain concrete deterioration has occurred. In particular, in the case of the finish that is not exposed to the outside air in the concrete to respond to the harsh environment (freeze-thawing, calcium laying, etc.), to establish a quality control way for the process and the concrete mix design for it.
This study is to performed to find the optimum mix proportion of the high strength and self compacting concrete for the above-ground LNG storage tank construction and field application. If LNG storage tank wall thicknesscan be reduced, the construction cost and quality can be improved by using self-compacting high strength concrete with compressive strength 60~80 MPa. For this purpose, low heat cement (Type IV) and class F fly ash are used in concrete mix to control hydration heat, flowability, and viscosity. Mix design variables of unit water, fly ash replacement ratio, water-binder ratio, and fine aggregate ratio are selected and tested for material properties and manufacturing cost of the concrete. Also, fly ash replacement ratio is considered using confined water ratio test. The test results showed that the optimum mix proportion of the self-compacting high strength concrete characteristics are as follows. 1) In case of the concrete with specified compressive strength of 60 MPa, the optimum mix proportion is fly ash replacement ratio of 20% and water- binder ratio of 27~30%. 2) In case of the concrete with the strength of 80 MPa, the optimum mix proportion is fly ash replacement ratio of 10% and water-binder ratio 25%. But unit water and fine aggregate ratio are 165 $kg/m^3$ and $51{\pm}2%$, respectively, regardless of the traget concrete compressive strength range. Also, test results showed that concrete manufacturing cost of 60 MPa and 80 MPa concrete require additional costs of 14~22% and 33%, respectively, compared to the manufacturing cost of 40 MPa concrete. Therefore, application of the self-compacting high strength concrete has proven to be economical in the perspective of the material cost, quality control, and site management.
The objectives of the study were to provide the basic informations needed in the development of balanced medical services throughout the nation. As the national health care system was expanding rapidly along with the economic growth, quantitative re-evaluation of the system is of great need. For that reason, characteristics of the admitted patients were analyzed for the case-mix and patients' flow within and through regions. Materials were 421,530 cases of inpatients, who were reported through Korea Medical Insurance Corporation(KMIC) for insurance claim, during the period of March 1, 1985 through February 28, 1987. Korean Diagnosis Related Groups(K-DRGs) classification system was adopted for the study of case-mix and 189 cities and counties were classified into 5 district groups by factor analysis results of K-DRGS. The major findings of this study were as follows ; 1) Factor analysis of case-mix, employing K-DRG system, revealed 5 distinct funtional district groups. Group A(18 districts) was prominent for tertiary medical care. In group B(36 districts), rather simple procedures were prevalent. Group C(26 districts) was distinctive for the medical care of well organized internal medicine practices with qualified clinical laboratories. Group D(17 districts) was characterized by relatively high balanced medical care. Group E (92 districts) was with very low level of medical care. 2) Analysis of the case-flow through the districts showed 3 types of flow patterns : inflow, outflow, and balanced types. Inflow type of case-flow was found in Group A, C and D while Group B and E showed outflow type. Inflow was most prominent in Group A and Group E was of typical outflow type. Group B was consistently the outflow type except for Major Diagnostic Category XX regardless of the disease treaters, but Group C and D were inflow or outflow types according to the disease tracers.

As the size and the diversity of the beauty industry grow, the need for systematic marketing strategy in beauty shop also increases. This study aims at finding 1)how to segment the market of beauty industry based on lifestyle variable and 2)how to set up the corresponding mix strategy on target market. The case of 'B beauty shop' shows that the validity of lifestyle-based segementation model is verified as the shop has posted a drastic financial outcome during last 5 years. In addition, this study implies that the corelation research between lifestyle variables and marketing mix strategy should be included as an important factor in launching a beauty-related business in segmented market.
