신제품 공동 개발 시 공급자의 전략이 신제품 개발성과에 미치는 영향에 대한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Supplier's Strategy on New Product Development Performance)

  • Purpose - In the joint development of new products, buyers and suppliers exchange information to solve various problems. Uncertainty and ambiguity are typical examples. Uncertainty refers to the lack of information to solve the problem, and equivocality refers to the case where the information is interpreted in multiple processes in the process of providing the information. These uncertainty and equivocality cause new products to be delayed in their development and adversely affect quality. However, unfortunately, there is a lack of researches on how the uncertainty and equivocality of such concepts control the results of new product joint development. But, smooth communication and effective exchange of information is not emphasized only in the general organization. The importance of the new product joint development projects to achieve the two organizations' common goals becomes even greater. The purposes of this study are to analyse the effect of supplier's strategy on the NPD performance and moderating effect of uncertainty and equivocality. Research design, data, and methodology - In order to make a contribution to the lack of academic researches in Korea, this study collects data through questionnaires based on organizational information processing theory and previous studies, and conducts empirical analysis. Results - As a result, the product modularization strategy and the strategic supply chain relationship positively influenced the new product development performance - return on investment and ease of manufacturing. And the interaction effect of uncertainty and equivocality with supplier's strategy - product modularity strategy and strategic supply chain management relationship - reduces or negates the influence of product modularization strategy on new product development performance. Conclusions - This implies that it is important to control uncertainty and equivocality in order for the supplier strategy to have a positive effect on new product development performance. It also emphasizes the necessity of sharing information appropriately for companies that do not want to share the information as possible due to their fear of loss of competitive advantage in the joint development of new products. Because this kind of negative policy might let uncertainty and equivocality be happen in new product joint development process.

Featured Student Profiles: An Instructional Blogging Strategy to Promote Student Interactions in Online Courses

  • Although blogs have been used in online learning environments with optimistic expectations, the distributed nature of blogs can pose some challenges. Currently, we do not have a robust collection of tested blogging strategies to help students interact more effectively with each other when blogs are used as a primary form of engagement in an online class. Thus, the purpose of the study was to test an early iteration of an instructional blogging strategy, "Featured Student Profiles," which is designed to help students become acquainted with each other better and encourage them to visit and comment on each other's blogs. Sixteen pre-service teachers who were enrolled in an online course in which student blogs are the primary medium of peer interactions, participated in the study. Using a design case approach, seven students participated in interviews and all student blog interactions were analyzed. Thematic analysis was applied to analyze the interview data and identify salient themes of students' blogging experiences overall under the study strategy. The findings indicated that students took the most direct and efficient path they experienced to complete the blog task. Their peer interaction patterns varied, but several shifted from random to targeted relationships as the semester progressed. Although all students perceived the strategy as a positive approach to peer awareness, there was no clear evidence of its effect on student interactions.

  • FMS is recognized as a useful approach to meet with multi-product small-lot-sized production system Large-scaled investment is needed for installing FMS ; full-discussed systematic prefeasibility analysis and preparation study are necessary for successful installation and running the system. Standardization study is one area of the preparation processes ; especially, standardized production strategy is the core in this area. Conceptual framework and case analysis for the standardization process in relation to FMS installation are suggested in this paper. Case analysis is focused in machinary industry.

  • This paper is concerned with developing a standard costing model based on the case study of PECT and GCT in order to improve operation efficiency and design business strategy. In doing so the model can be a useful tool to analyze current calculation system of lease charge at the two terminals and to judge whether the level of lease charge currently applied to them is justifiable for thier profitability.

SRN을 활용한 대학수학 강좌 운영 사례 (A Case of Operating College Mathematics Course using SRN)

  • 이 연구에서는 대학의 교양 교육과정으로 운영되는 '대학수학' 강좌에서 자기성찰 노트(SRN)를 활용한 수업을 진행하고 그것이 대학생들의 수학학습에 어떤 영향을 미치는지를 확인하고자 했다. 이를 위해, '대학수학' 세 분반, '대학수학II' 한 분반 수강생 등 95명의 대학생들을 대상으로 SRN 학습 전략을 활용한 수업을 진행하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 학생들의 변화를 확인하기 위해, 정의적 영역 설문조사, 핵심역량 설문조사, 만족도 조사 등을 실시하여 자료를 수집하고 분석하였다. 그 결과, 다음을 확인하였다. 첫째, SRN을 활용한 수업에 참여한 대학생들의 수학에 대한 흥미, 자신감, 향후 기대감이 개선되었다. 둘째, SRN을 활용한 수업에 참여한 대학생들의 핵심역량(자기주도 역량, 소통 역량)이 증진되었다. 셋째, 이 연구에 참여한 학생들은 SRN을 활용한 학습 전략이 자신의 수학공부에 도움이 되었다고 평가했다. 넷째, SRN을 활용한 학습을 통해 학생들은 자신의 학습습관을 개선하고, 단점을 보완하며, 교수자와 실질적 의사소통이 가능하다고 평가했다.

Cost-Effectiveness Analysis for National Dyslipidemia Screening Program in Korea: Results of Best Case Scenario Analysis Using a Markov Model

  • Background: This study evaluated the cost-effectiveness of 21 different national dyslipidemia screening strategies according to total cholesterol (TC) cutoff and screening interval among 40 years or more for the primary prevention of coronary heart disease over a lifetime in Korea, from a societal perspective. Methods: A decision tree was used to estimate disease detection with the 21 different screening strategies, while a Markov model was used to model disease progression until death, quality-adjusted life years (QALYs) and costs from a Korea societal perspective. Results: The results showed that the strategy with TC 200 mg/dL and 4-year interval cost \4,625,446 for 16.65105 QALYs per person and strategy with TC 200 mg/dL and 3-year interval cost \4,691,771 for 16.65164 QALYs compared with \3,061,371 for 16.59877 QALYs for strategy with no screening. The incremental cost-effectiveness ratio of strategy with TC 200 mg/dL and 4-year interval versus strategy with no screening was \29,916,271/QALY. At a Korea willingness-to-pay threshold of \30,500,000/QALY, strategy with TC 200 mg/dL and 4-year interval is cost-effective compared with strategy with no screening. Sensitivity analyses showed that results were robust to reasonable variations in model parameters. Conclusion: In this study, revised national dyslipidemia screening strategy with TC 200 mg/dL and 4-year interval could be a cost-effective option. A better understanding of the Korean dyslipidemia population may be necessary to aid in future efforts to improve dyslipidemia diagnosis and management.

객체지향 시스템 개발에서의 유스 케이스 활용성에 관한 연구 (Investigating the Practice of the Use Case Modeling in the Object-Oriented Systems Development)

  • Object-oriented paradigm has required the fundamental changes in the developers' practice and orientation. However. the relevant literature has not still provided the solid practical methodology but created some myths regarding Use Case modeling. In this study. we attempt to 'demythologize' some key aspects of Use Case Modeling by describing what we have observed in our research and practice. In order to identify the developers' perceptions. the survey methodology was utilized. By discussing the differences between what must be done and what has been done. this study provides rich insights into the better understanding of the Use Case modeling and the successful development of object-oriented systems.

비대면 시대의 온·오프라인 통합매장의 서비스 활성화 전략에 관한 사례 연구 (A case study on service activation strategy of online and offline integration stores in the non-face-to-face era)

  • 본 연구는 비대면 시대의 온·오프라인 통합매장의 서비스 활성화를 위한 사례 연구이다. COVID-19로 인해 리테일 아포칼립스 위기가 심화되었고, 이를 극복하기 위해 오프라인 매장에 온라인 경험을 제공하는 피지털 전략이 주목을 받고 있다. 하지만 국내 유통업체의 대응은 초기단계이며 소비자의 접근성을 향상시키고 오프라인 매장을 활성화하기 위한 전략적 연구가 필요한 실정이다. 기술 발전에 따른 이론적 고찰을 통해 3가지 전략을 확인하였고, 국내외 선행 사례를 조사, 분석하여 4가지 전략으로 정리하였다. 도출된 전략을 유형화하여 결론적으로 3가지 핵심 전략을 제시하였다. 이 연구는 문헌 조사와 사례조사를 토대로 한 연구로서 향후 온·오프라인 통합매장을 활성화하기 위한 전략적 기초자료를 구축하는 데 도움이 될 것으로 기대한다.
