Purpose: This study was performed to develop the case management program that can provide the qualitative health care service to satisfy the increasing needs for health care elderly and prevent the increase in medical cost cased by prolonged and repetitive hospitalization. Method: The survey was completed as follows. First, 290 elderly patients who would be soon discharged in 4 hospitals are participated in the survey on needs of nursing care and case management programs. Second, 70 professionals working at 5 hospitals including doctors, nurses, social workers and so on are participated in the survey on the case management team operation. Result: Level of needs to Nursing care and case management programs showed so high. Professionals suggested on the case management team operation. Finally, based on the survey and literature review, the case management program was developed. Conclusion: In this study, the specific models for the five case management services were suggested. It is thought that the service provision by the case management team based on the multi-disciplinary case management program model suggested in this study would be suggested as a constituent of the effective health care delivery system for the hospitalized elderly patients.

This paper presents a case study regarding a simple accounting information analysis method through the practical design using spreadsheet tool-Excel, which can offer to the management with more useful and practical information for the management decision-making. In this study, spreadsheet program is used to constitute case of the accounting information analysis method. Spreadsheet tool-Excel is easy to analyze the accounting information. And it can constitute a necessary program through function menu. In conclusion, the spreadsheet program should be used for quantitative analysis and evaluation on the accounting information. And it should be used to perform management activities. The results of this study may be summarized as follows: First, it is possible to constitute useful and practical case in the accounting information analysis method with spreadsheet program. Second, this study proposes directions for the accounting information analysis method with spreadsheet program.

Purpose: Financial independence of the museum is an urgent issue in Korea. In this paper, methodology to combine arts and culture facilities with senior society is investigated based on case study of various senior programs in other countries. Methods: In this paper, case study of various senior programs from cultural and arts facilities in other countries are investigated in the aspect of public nature and independent management. Based on the analysis of the case study, optimal methodology is derived. Results: Based on case study of various senior program in other countries, it is clear that art and cultural facilities play important roles in participating elderly people to various social activities through developing programs specialized for elderly people. Conclusion: From analysis of the case study, senior program from arts and culture facilities provides more familiar contents rather than professional contents. Also, they consider more on communication and cooperation with local society to develop the senior program, which fulfill both public nature and financial independence.

Purpose: This paper studies the influence of the case-management program on the change of blood sugar, lifestyle, and knowledge level of diabetes mellitus (DM) for medium-sized-enterprise employees suffering from DM. Method: Subjects, divided into experimental and control groups, are 59 workers with FBS higher than 126mg/$d{\ell}$ or under DM medication treatment in the medium-sized enterprises, being managed by two distinct university hospital group occupational health management service teams. The case management program for DM patients consists of 6 different processes in which each subject is treated. Result: FBS decreased in the experimental group after the program, while that of the control group increased significantly. In the experimental group, the amount of smoking, the frequency of drinking and the amount of drinking per week decreased. Also, the knowledge level for DM and the change of nutrition management showed significant increase. In the control group, the amount of smoking increased and the frequency of drinking, the amount of drinking and nutrition level did not change significantly. And the knowledge level for DM decreased. Conclusion: We expect that taking this case management program for DM management may significantly improve diabetic patients' overall health.

Purpose: The study compared the hypertension care efficacy of a case management intervention program for registered clients. Methods: The nonequivalent control group pretest-posttest design involved 53 registered hypertensive patients of a customized visiting health care service in S-city(n=28 experimental group, n=25 control group). Data collection and case management intervention were carried out from April to July, 2009. The experimental group had six home visits and two phone calls, and the control group had two home visits during the 8-week period. Outcome variables for test hypotheses were changes in physiologic index (blood pressure and total cholesterol) and degree of self-management performance and confidence. Results: Repeated measure ANOVA and t-test of means revealed significant differences before and after program for systolic and diastolic blood pressure and self-management performance and confidence, but no significant difference concerning total cholesterol. Conclusion: A case management program can have positive effects on blood pressure control and self management. However, research is needed to create a more effective case management for vulnerable patient populations.

본 연구는 자활사업의 개입모델로서 사례관리를 제안하며 그 실천적 적용가능성을 살펴본다. 근로빈곤층을 대상으로 한 자활사업이 궁극적으로 탈빈곤의 효과와 함께 지역사회에서의 자립된 삶을 얻는 기회를 제공하기 위해서는 일자리제공을 통한 경제적 자활 뿐 아니라 지역사회에서 개인의 삶에 영향을 미치는 다양한 사회적 위험요인들에 대한 지지적 서비스가 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 자활이 갖는 실천적 의미와 사례관리의 필요성을 살펴보고 이에 적절한 사례관리의 유형과 사례관리자의 역할을 살펴본다. 또한, 자활사업에 필요한 사례관리의 개입방향-상황중심적 사고를 통한 통합적인 사례관리체계의 구성, 역량강화적 접근에 기초한 주체적인 참여와 자율적인 운영, 사회망 개발과 연대적 노력을 통한 포괄적인 사례관리 프로그램으로의 발전-을 제안함으로써 고용과 복지가 통합적으로 고려되는 자활사업의 틀을 구성하고자 한다. 본 연구는 자활사업대상자와 기관차원에서 활용할 수 있는 실천프로그램을 제시함으로써 정책적 차원에 그치던 자활사업에 관한 논의를 서비스제공 차원에서 구체화시킨다는 의의가 있다.

Background: We first launched the case management program for diabetic patients who were registered in NHIC (National Health Insurance Corporation) in Korea and conducted this study to assess the effectiveness of the program. Methods: During the period from October in 2002 to March in 2003, 30 case managers performed the program for 71 diabetic patients. We evaluated the effectiveness of the program based on the results of fasting blood sugar level, two hour post-prandial blood sugar level, knowledge for diabetes, difficulty index in diabetes management, and the health risk factor changes of them. We analyzed results related to these factors through $x^2$ test and paired t-test. Results: The ave rage age of the subjects was 58.9. and the numbers of women and men were 43 and 28 respectively. The fasting blood sugar level and two hour post-prandial blood sugar level decreased from 164.3mg/dl to 146.5mg/dl and from 224.0mg/dl to 203.0mg/dl respectively. The knowledge for diabetes and difficulty index in diabetes management changed from 8.13 to 9.10 and from 3.52 to 2.91 respectively, and these changes were the positive. We observed improvement in self-test of sugar level, foot management, oral hygiene and proper medication but not in self-test of nutritional management. Conclusions: This study revealed that the case management program for diabetic patients who were registered in NHIC is significantly effective. However, the program need to study further to understand its long-term effects.

연구목적 응급실 기반 자살시도자 사후관리사업에 등록된 자살시도자의 인구학적 요인, 자살시도 패턴 및 정신건강의학과 병력 및 관리가 사후관리 프로그램 완수에 어떠한 영향을 끼치는지 알아보고자 하였다. 방 법 2018년 6월 1일부터 2021년 5월 31일까지 중앙대학교병원 응급실을 방문한 자살시도 환자 중 사례관리에 동의한 661명을 연구대상으로 하였다. 대상자는 응급실 퇴원 후 8주간의 사후관리 서비스 프로그램에 등록하여 관리를 받았다. 인구학적 요인, 자살시도 패턴, 정신건강의학과 병력 및 관리에 해당하는 요인들을 독립변인으로, 사후관리사업 프로그램의 완수 여부를 종속변인으로 두고, 위계적 로지스틱 회귀 분석을 시행하였다. 결 과 자살시도 패턴이 사후관리 사업 완수에 가장 큰 영향을 미치고, 인구학적 요인, 정신건강의학과 병력 및 관리 순으로 사후관리 사업 완료 여부에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났다. 자살시도자 사후관리사업 프로그램 완수자는 미완수자에 비해, 향후 자살계획을 가진 경우가 유의하게 많았고, 자살시도의 진정성이 강했으며, 과거자살시도력 또한 유의하게 높았다. 결 론 대상자들이 사후관리사업 프로그램을 완수하고 지역사회 서비스로 연계되도록 하기 위하여, 자살시도 패턴, 인구학적 요인, 정신건강의학과 병력에 대한 고려를 바탕으로 한 개별화된 접근이 필요하다.

Purpose: The primary goal of this study was to develop a case management with exercise program for community dwelling elders who live alone, and examine the effects of the program. Method: The design of this research was a one group pre-post test study. The participations were 85 elders diagnosed with hypertension and diabetes mellitus and who lived alone as residents of D city. The case management with exercise program included exercise and counseling as the intervention and was provided for 12 weeks. Data were collected before and after the intervention which lasted from September 3 to November 26, 2009. Collected data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, and paired t-test. Results: There were significant differences in blood pressure (t=-5.24, p<.001, t=-1.94, p= .040), fasting blood sugar (t=-4.41, p<.001), ADL (t=-5.43, p=.022) and cognitive function (t=7.41, p=.008) between pre- and post intervention. Conclusion: These results indicate that the case management program is an important intervention for health promotion for community-dwelling elders, and exercise improves functional status of older persons with diseases. Therefore, now is the time to develop new supportive community-based programs for elders who live alone. However, it is also necessary to do further longitudinal studies to confirm the results of this study.

Program management is a concept to deal with huge and complex business activities from social, economical, cultural and environmental points of view and increase their value for client and society. The aim of this study is to establish a framework of program management process and develop a supporting system for program management. In this paper we propose a framework and a proto type supporting system based on case studies and report the result of application to an urban redevelopment using partially implemented software.
