This study was conducted to improve the insufficiency of fruit vegetable grafting system developed by National Institute of Agricultural Sciences, Rural Development Administration. When the rotary blade cut the stem of scions and rootstocks, the grafting failure at curved cutting surfaces happened. The cutting depth of a tomato seedling by a rotated cutter was calculated 0.11 mm even when the cutting arm length and the maximum stem diameter were 50 mm and 5 mm, respectively. Mathematical analysis and high-speed photography showed that there was no problem by cutting in straight the stem of scions and rootstocks. The compression test of seedling stems to design the optimal shape of gripper showed that stems were not completely restored when they were compressed above 0.8 mm and 0.6 mm in case of rootstocks and scion, respectively. This study found that the bending angle of stem of tomato seedlings at the grafting period was 10 degree on average. The optimal gripper finger was the edge finger type which could be precisely set center point by adjusting the distance between fingers. In addition, it was found that most of seedling could be grasped without damage when the finger-to-finger distances is set to 2.5 mm for scion and 3.0 mm for rootstocks and finger are coated by 1 mm-thick flexible material.
The purpose of the study was to offer in-depth understanding of the women's wear research trend in South Korea and thus to provide insights from the findings throughout the study to set appropriate directions for further development of women's wear related researches in the clothing and textile study area. The study considered research papers published by the 6 major apparel related journals listed on the KCI(Korea Citation Index) i.e. journals of the Korean Society of Clothing and Textiles(KSCT), the Korean Society of Costume(KSC), the Costume Culture Association (CCA), the Korean Society of Fashion Business(KSFB), the Korean Home Economics Association (KHEA) and the Korean Society for Clothing Industry(KSCI). A total of 380 research papers that were related with women's wear published from 2001 to 2010 were selected for the study and analyzed in the form of descriptive statistics using the SPSS Software ver. 18.0. Recently, due to the increment of national income and the living standard of citizens, the leasure business has been dramatically expanded. Among the business, inland water activities such as cruise tour or water taxi have drawn attention from the people. As more people come for a new pleasure, the frequency and the number of services continues to rise yet the safety of people values less recently. In fact, the number of relating accidents also has risen accordingly. In order to prevent such accidents in inland waters, the vessels' real time voyage data, the advanced warning system and the emergency rescuing system are required. In this paper, we have developed navigation guiding application for safety of passengers and vessels in inland waters. Navigation guiding applications not only provide Inland Electronic Navigational Chart(IENC) and vessel information but also allows communication between traffic service center and nearby vessels in case of an emergency situation. In order to implement Navigation guiding applications, developing Inland Electronic Navigational Chart was inevitable. Therefore, IENC of Han River, has developed based on measuring the water depth using multi-beam echo sounder system.

Because individuals come together to form a society, society has characteristics that are different or similar. Furthermore, as globalization and language acquisition in other countries have been activated, the frequency of studying abroad has increased. While Korea also studies abroad, the number of students coming to Korea from other countries continues to increase, increasing. In particular, when there was interest in start-up businesses, the factors were discovered through exploratory research in order to identify factors affecting the level of growth in start-ups when they had different nationalities. In order to conduct exploratory research, the government wanted to check more in-depth information through semi-structured interviews with co-founder companies composed of Koreans and Chinese. The main keywords were repeated or emphasized continuously during the interview, and other keywords were obtained through additional questions. As a result, it has been confirmed that self-acceptance, cultural distance, entrepreneurship, knowledge quality and growth are very large keywords in the co-founding start-up of different countries. The proposition was established as having a relationship of justice with self-acceptance, cultural distance and entrepreneurship as independent variables and with the degree of growth as dependent variables. In particular, in the case of co-founding with different nationalities, the most important knowledge quality was represented the effect of reverse U in each relationship (the relationship between self-acceptance, cultural distance, entrepreneurship and growth).

As demonstrated in study for non-submerged groynes, the flow field is predominantly two-dimensional, with mainly horizontal eddies. The eddies shed form the tips of the groynes and migrate in the flow direction. These eddies have horizontal dimensions in the order of tens of meters and time-scales in the order of minutes. In the standard flow simulations, these motions are usually not resolved, due to a too coarse grid, too large time steps and, more importantly, the use of inadequate turbulence modelling. using for example a k-${\varepsilon}$ model, it is necessary to introduce substantial modifications. Therefore simulation resolved in this study, were carried out using the DELFT-3D-MOR programme, which is part of the DELFT3D software package of WL/Delft Hydraulics and In this study, apply a two-dimensional depth-averaged model, taking an horizontal large eddy simulation(HLES). The bed morphology computed when using HLES, as well as the associated time-scale, is similar to what has been obseved in a field case. When using a mean-flow model with-out HELS, the bed morphology is less realistic and the morphological time-scale is much larger. This slow development is the result of neglecting(or averaging). the strong velocity fluctuations associated with the time-varying eddy formation.

Purpose: Recently, lighting energy consumption in buildings has been gradually increasing and more studies are being carried out in order to solve this problem. Especially, the efficiency of the light-shelf system, which is a natural lighting system, has been recognized as a potential solution in addressing this problem and so various studies regarding the light-shelf system are being conducted. However, if high luminance material is used for the light-shelf system, glaring may occur in certain circumstances even though such material increases efficiency, and there are also difficulties related to maintenance and management in the case of an external light-shelf system. Therefore, the purpose of this study is to suggest modifications in relation to the reflectivity of the light-shelf system and introduce a rolling type light-shelf system with built-in cleaning equipment. In addition, a performance evaluation technique was established to verify its effectiveness. Method: In this study, we reviewed previous studies related to the light-shelf system and its performance. Then a testbed was established to assess the performance of the rolling-type light-shelf system suggested in this study. Also, the performance of the rolling-type light-shelf system suggested in this study was compared and analyzed with that of existent light-shelf systems in order to better verify the performance, and the uniformity ratio of illumination and lighting energy consumption were calculated for this purpose. Result: The results of the performance evaluation are as follows. 1) The performance evaluation result of the light-shelf system on the day of the summer solstice shows that $30^{\circ}$ is appropriate for the angle of light-shelf system, and the depth of the incoming natural light also increases as the angle of the light shelf increases. 2) It is possible to improve the uniformity ratio of illumination by increasing the reflectivity of the light shelf, and the reason for this is the increase in the amount of incoming light entering indoors due to the increased reflectivity of the light shelf. 3) The rolling type light-shelf system suggested in this study enables energy saving in comparison with existent light-shelf systems, and when the external illuminance decreases to 60,000 lx and 40,000 lx during the summer solstice due to factors such as the weather, the suggested light-shelf system can save energy by 12.1% and 5.1% respectively. Thus the light-shelf system proposed in this study is deemed to be effective in reducing energy costs.
In an intensively competitive global market, small-and medium-sized firms are puzzled about how to develop sustainable competitive advantages against global rivalries, thus leading satisfactory economic performance. However, despite the roles and contributions of such small-and medium-sized firms in the local community and national economies in Japan, little guidance has been offered to the practical issues related to their strategic behaviors toward global management. To fill this notable knowledge gap, this study aims to investigate the conditions in which how Japanese small-and medium-sized could dominates global market, which is one of key challenges in the literature of small business and entrepreneurship. To obtain better insights to this research area, this study undertakes an in-depth interview survey with I.S.T (Industrial Summit Technology) Corporation that shows off the highest global market share (40 per cent) with seamless polyimide tube product widely used in office automation equipment (e.g., copiers and printers). This method of survey is designed to deeply understand historical considerations about how I.S.T Corporation could dominate in the global market of such seamless polyimide tube product. Based on findings drawn from an interview, this study identifies five major factors enabling I.S.T Corporation to be a competitive global hidden company: vision sharing through founder's entrepreneurship, core competence, strategic network, risk management, and employee engagement. Specifically, to become a global hidden champion, sharing the vision motivating employees to partake in shaping company's future will be the first step on the road to global success through founder's entrepreneurship. However, in order to achieve such a vision, the importance of company's core competence cannot be overemphasized, which differentiates your customer solution with those of competitors. As such, a group of experts will be naturally formed and demonstrates your expertise in the global market, thereby building sustainable competitiveness. On the other hand, to maintain sustainable competitiveness, it is necessary to make up for the weaknesses small-and medium-sized firms suffer from competitive resources while strengthening their own strengths through strategic networks with external organizations. Here, every company has to understand the critical role of risk management, which is essential in this process of being global company so as not to lose your own strengths. Last but not least, do not forget the significant effects of employee engagement in firm performance. To enhance employees' engagement, a company has to create an ideal organization culture which fits into company's history and personality. In doing so, such organization culture can allow the vision and strategy to be implemented into detailed business tactics while facilitating employees to challenge the status quo by experimenting with creative ideas.
This study was executed to evaluate adaptability of dentin bonding agents to dentinal wall with measuring contraction gap on interface between cavity wall and composite resin by SEM study. 6 kinds of dentin bonding agents were investigated for this study : Gluma, Super Bond C & B, All bond 2, Scotchbond multipurpose, Scotchbond 2 and Clearfil photo bond. 30 of fresh extracted teeth were randomly selected and divided into 6 groups with each 5. The round shaped cavities with 3mm dia. and 1.5mm depth were prepared on cementoenamel junction of buccal surface of teeth. Dentin bonding agents were applied to cavity wall and then the composite resin was filled in the cavity. Specimens were sectioned longitudinally on buccal surface. Sectioned aspects of specimens were impressioned with rubber base materials and finally precise replica were made of epoxy resin poured in negative impression. Contraction gaps were examined on interface between cavity wall and composite resin under condition of 200 and 2000 magnification of SEM. The results were as follows. 1. There were no gap on interface between enamel and composite resin in all specimens, but gaps were mainly exhibited on apical side of lateral wall of dentin of cavity. 2. In Gluma, 2 cases of 5 specimens exhibited excellent adaptation to the cavity wall, indicating no gaps on interface between cavity wall and composite resin. The other specimens showed gaps with range of $0{\sim}15{\mu}m$ width. 3. In Super Bond C & B, gaps with range of $0{\sim}10{\mu}m$ width were mainly exhibited on apical side of lateral wall of dentin of cavity. 4. In All bond 2, all specimens showed the most exellent adaptation to cavity wall when compared to the other materials, indicating no gap interface between cavity wall and composite resin. 5. In Scotchbond multipurpose, gaps with range of $0{\sim}10{\mu}m$ width were locally located on cavity wall. 6. In Scotchbond 2, all specimens showed great amount of gap with range of $5{\sim}25{\mu}m$, indicating the worst adaptation to cavity wall compared to the other materials. 7. In Clearfil photo bond, 2 case of 5 specimens exhibited exellent adaptation to cavity wall, indicating no gap. the other specimens showed gap with range of $0{\sim}15{\mu}m$ width on inferface between cavity wall and composite resin.
In this paper, we describe the design and the implementation of word clustering system using a definition of an entry word in the dictionary, called a dictionary definition. Generally word clustering needs various features like words and the performance of a system for the word clustering depends on using some kinds of features. Dictionary definition describes the meaning of an entry in detail, but words in the dictionary definition are implicative or abstractive, and then its length is not long. The word clustering using only features extracted from the dictionary definition results in a lots of small-size clusters. In order to make large-size clusters and improve the performance, we need to transform the features into more general words with keeping the original meaning of the dictionary definition as intact as possible. In this paper, we propose two methods for extending the dictionary definition using ontology. One is to extend the dictionary definition to parent words on the ontology and the other is to extend the dictionary definition to some words in fixed depth from the root of the ontology. Through our experiments, we have observed that the proposed systems outperform that without extending features, and the latter's extending method overtakes the former's extending method in performance. We have also observed that verbs are very useful in extending features in the case of word clustering.
