Career guidance refers to services intended to assist students to make educational and occupational choices and to manage their careers. Young students, specially enrolled in vocational high schools, need programs to help them make transitions to the working world and to re-engage with further learning, and career guidance needs to be part of such programs. Teachers assume the critical roles in planning and organizing the career guidance programs in vocational high schools. The program includes career information provision, assessment and self-assessment tools, career counseling, work search, etc. In this study, we developed a research model based upon TRA(theory of reasoned action) developed by Ajzen and Fishbein to investigate the factors influencing the intention to provide career guidance services to students in vocational high schools. Based on 155 survey responses from vocational high school teachers, we show that attitude and subjective norm motivate teachers to provide career guidance services, and that attitude toward career guidance is directly influenced by self-efficacy for career guidance and burden from extra work. It was also confirmed that facilitating condition is the antecedent of self-efficacy. But contrary to our expectation, self-efficacy for career guidance has no significant effect on the intention for providing career guidance services at 5% significance level. In light of these findings, implications for theory and practice are discussed.

The purpose of this study is to understand the effects of adolescent wellbeing of school maladjusted teens on the career decision self-efficacy and the mediating effect of community capital. The subjects were 116 school maladjusted teens in Ulsan metropolitan area. As analysis methods, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis, three-step mediation effect analysis, and a Sobel test were performed based on factor analysis, reliability analysis, and regression analysis, using the R program. As a result, adolescent wellbeing was found to have a significant positive (+) effect on career decision self-efficacy. The effect of adolescent's wellbeing on career decision self-efficacy was confirmed. This means that the self-efficacy of career decisions will improve as the adolescent's wellbeing of school maladjusted teens increases and there is more positive community capital. Overall, it will be necessary to develop and utilize educational programs that can improve the sense of youth wellbeing and implement systematic intervention of specialized counseling services helpful in career search and decision-making in light of the psychological characteristics of youth. Therefore, to improve the career decision self-efficacy of school-maladjusted teens, reinforcement of teenage wellbeing and various strategies utilizing community capital will be necessary.

Purpose: The purpose of this study was to systematically review and conduct meta-analysis on factors affecting career preparation behavior of Korean nursing students. Methods: Related articles published in Korean and English were collected based on search terms and converted into a numerical database. Data extraction, quality assessment and analysis including a systematic review and meta-analysis were completed. Results: The review included 27 studies. There were 25 factors influencing career preparation behavior of Korean nursing students. Factors were categorized into four sub-factors: personal, contextual, cognitive-emotional, and goal-related. In the meta-analysis of 27 articles the total effect size (ESr) was .34. The effect sizes of the four sub-factors were .37 for individual factors, .25 for situation factors, .34 for cognitive and emotional factors, and .41 for target factors. The main factors were .53 for career-related efficacy, .43 for self-leadership, and .43 for career decision level. Conclusion: Nursing students with high career-related efficacy and self-leadership are more likely to demonstrate career preparation behavior. Based on these results, educational institutions for nursing students must improve students' self-leadership and career effectiveness through education so that they can set career goals.

It aims to provide the basic data for NCS-based education and career guidance. Methods: The subject of the questionnaire survey was dental technology students. The collected data were analyzed using the SPSS 21.0 program. For reliable verification, a significance level of ${\alpha}=.05$ was used and reliability analysis, frequency analysis, descriptive statistics analysis, correlation analysis and regression analysis were performed. Results: The results of the analysis showed that the basic occupational ability had a mediating effect in relation to career barriers and job-seeking efficacy. It was found that the basic occupational ability had a mediating effect in the relationship between job-seeking efficiently and other variables such as difficulty in an interpersonal relationship, lack of self-clarification, conflict with others in important positions, lack of job information, and lack of interest. Conclusion : The results of this study confirmed the importance of the basic occupational ability in improving job-seeking goals, job motivation, job search strength, job skills, and other related areas. If it appears difficult to overcome career barriers such as interpersonal difficulty, lack of self-clarification, conflict with other important people, lack of job information, and lack of interest, then the improvement of the basic occupational ability can be expected to enhance the job-seeking efficiency.
Purpose: Factors related to the major satisfaction of nursing students were systematically searched and quantitatively synthesized. Methods: Meta-analysis was conducted upon 47 articles in Korean master and doctorate degree dissertations and academic journals. Meta-analysis of major satisfaction-related variables was conducted using Comprehensive Meta-Analysis (CMA) 2.0 program. The effect size of the related variables was analyzed by converting the statistic r value to Fisher's Z. Results: The overall average effect size of major satisfaction was the largest effect size (ES=.49), followed by cognitive factors (ES=.58), affective factors (ES=.45), and psychomotor factors (ES=.31). The cognitive factors were in the order nursing professionalism(ES=.70), nurse's image (ES=.65), and critical thinking disposition (ES=.36). The affective factors were self-esteem (ES=.59), emotional intelligence (ES=.55), career identity (ES=.49), self-efficacy (ES=.48), college adjustment (ES=.45), practice satisfaction (ES=.45), resilience (ES=.42), (ES=.40), grit (ES=.34), and stress (ES=.26). The psychomotor factors were clinical performance ability (ES=.38) and career search behavior (ES=.31). Conclusion: The results of this study are valuable when giving consideration to the variables related to nursing students' major satisfaction, for developing a strategic model to enhance the satisfaction of nursing students.

As the result, the strength note program significantly influenced the improvement in self-esteem and self-efficacy of university students. This result demonstrates the necessity of the strength note program for improving self-esteem and self-efficacy of university students.
