  • A commonly used device to determine fixation disparity curves is the Wesson Fixation Disparity Card. A fixation disparity curve is an x, y coordinate plot of the angular amount of fixation disparity as a function of the power of prisms through which the patient views. The fixation disparity curve variables that are used to aid in the diagnosis and management of binocular vision disorders include the x-intercept, y-intercept, curve slope and curve type. Fixation disparity curves were measured on 102 subjects with the Wesson fixation disparity card. The purpose of this study is to investigate distribution of the curve types obtained with Wesson card. Fixation Disparity by Wesson Fixation Disparity Card were that in case of type I 63.0%, in case of type II 0.0%, in case of type III 25.0% and in case of type IV 12.0%.

  • As an increase of chip complexity and level of chip integration, chip input/output (I/O) pad pitches are also drastically reduced. With arrival of high complexity SoC (System on Chip) and SiP (System in Package) products, conventional horizontal type probe card showed its limitation on probing density for wafer level test. To enhance probing density, we proposed new vertical type probe card that has the $70{\mu}m$ probe needle with tungsten wire in $80{\mu}m$ micro-drilled hole in ceramic board. To minimize alignment error, micro-drilling conditions are optimized and epoxy-hardening conditions are also optimized to minimize planarity changes. To apply wafer level test for target devices (T5365 256M SDRAM), designed probe card was characterized by probe needle tension for test, contact resistance measurement, leakage current measurement and the planarity test. Compare to conventional probe card with minimum pitch of $50{\sim}125{\mu}m\;and\;2\;{\Omega}$ of average contact resistance, designed probe card showed only $22{\mu}$ of minimum pitch and $1.5{\Omega}$ of average contact resistance. And also, with the nature of vertical probing style, it showed comparably small contact scratch and it can be applied to bumping type chip test.

  • The card-based user interface is one of the easiest navigation methods for smart phones, and many of the contents have recently been exposed as cards. In this paper, we have dealt with the definitions of cards and the components of cards used in smart phones. The card can play multimedia including various images and media, and serves as an entry point into detailed contents through the arrangement of buttons or actions. The card UI had different characteristics depending on the type, if it could be classified into basic type, timeline type, workflow type, and dashboard type. The basic type and the timeline type were not suitable for the hierarchy and order of information, and they were suitable for providing large contents. The workflow type was not significantly different from the amount of content, horizontal content arrangement was possible, and the dashboard type was analyzed to be suitable for providing various data as graph or number.

  • This study addresses some solutions of the technical problem of using e-money systems. The solutions are on/off line e-money, one card, ordering system, and card-card settlement system etc. The alternatives are described as source code in the example of Angel Plus e-money. E-money is classified as IC card(off-line) type and net work(on-line) type. But, They should be integrated. End-users want to use the combined card for its conveniences. This research introduces on/off line e-money with a case study. On the basis of this paper, future research is to be further conducted on the Customer-oriented e-money with multiple functions.

  • Dramatic changes are beginning to occur in payment system according to increase electronic commerce. and so electronic money as a new payment system are increase role in new and innovative systems. There are two type Electronic money as a IC card type and network-type. Advanced card technologies such as IC-card are playing an increasingly important role in new and Innovation system. The merit of IC-card are more capacity, more secure, more reliable, quick and easy to update, secure offline processing, enabling technology etc than magnetic stripe card. And so many countries began using experiment of IC- card and our country began October 13 in Cheju island. Then there are four types using-experiment (K-cash, VISA-cash, A-cash, MONDEX) in Korea. There are some problems such as standards, widely using, high cost, double investment etc. I think that important things in IC-card using is an international- standardizations and issuing corporation.

  • As smart phone users increase the number of users who insert credit cards into wallet type smart phone cases is increasing. In this paper, we developed an Android application for preventing credit card loss in a wallet type smart phone case using the NFC (Near Field Communication) technology of smart phone. The developed android application uses the NFC reading and writing functions of the smart phone. When the credit card is inserted into the wallet type smart phone case, the android application detects the NFC tag in the credit card and registers credit card information. When the credit card is removed from the smart phone case, the Android application automatically detects the credit card loss and notifies to the user. The user can check and finds the location information of the lost credit card on the map of the Android application. We can easily develop the Android application for preventing credit card loss when a function that automatically detects an leaving NFC tag is added to Android.

  • Recently, smart card system which is known as easy to portable and also safe from physical, electrical, and software attack is observed to manage information that becomes the target of security in safety. And java card graft upon java technology to smart card platform is having very good advantage with object-oriented techniques and also, java card have the open type OS that can show the same action in different hardware characteristic which allows various application programs. In this paper, we introduced independent execution characteristic of java platform because being set to each smart card was uncomfortable till now and we designed access control member card that allows several administrators in different access privilege by single card using java card. Several administrators can approach to various information of file type that is included on issued card to user by using different PIN. In the proposed method, confirmation of personal information, administration contents update, demand by contents, is possible by single card. At this moment, wish to do safer user certification that improve security limitation which is from PIN, used for user certification, and signature data. In the proposed method, as design and implementation of utilization technology of java card, biometrics, user certification which uses multi PIN, provide that more safety and conveniently.

  • This paper introduces a new credit card payment scheme called No Number Credit Card that can significantly reduce the possibility of credit card fraud. The proposed payment system is loosely based on Kerberos, a cryptographic framework that has stood the test of time. In No Number Credit Card, instead of card numbers, only payment tokens are exchanged between the customers and merchants. The tokens are generated based on the payment amount, payment type, client information, and merchant information. However, it does not contain the credit card number, so the merchant or a database hacker cannot acquire and illegally use any credit card numbers. The No Number Credit Card system is ideal for online e-commerce transactions and can be used with any credit card that users possess. It can be used with minor modifications to the current card payment system. We provide the principles of its operation through scenario analysis, a sample implementation, and a security analysis

  • In this study, we developed a counting method for non-contact ID cards using an optical fiber displacement sensor instead of the traditionally used friction counting method. The proposed method has the advantage of high speed and automated measurement. For counting non-contact ID cards, an H-type optical fiber sensor, jig part, and counting program are developed separately to build the system and adjust it. Through the experimental test results, it was confirmed that counting is possible with one type of international ID card and one type of financial security card based on ISO7810. Furthermore, by applying the proposed method to 100 ID cards 100 times repeatedly, it was confirmed that it has high accuracy and an error ratio of 0%. We experimentally demonstrated that the proposed counting method for non-contact ID cards using an optical fiber displacement sensor can perform measurements with high accuracy and high speed.

  • We present a new type of silicon micro-probe card using a three-dimensional probe beam of the cantilever type. It was fabricated using KOH and dry etching, a porous silicon micromachining technique, and an Au electroplating process. The cantilever-type probe beam had a thickness of $5 {\mu}m$, and a width of $50{\mu}$ and a length of $800 {\mu}m$. The probe beam for pad contact was formed by the thermal expansion coefficient difference between the films. The maximum height of the curled probe beam was $170 {\mu}m$, and an annealing process was performed for 20 min at $500^{\circ}C$. The contact resistance of the newly fabricated probe card was less than $2{\Omega}$, and its lifetime was more than 20,000 turns.
