The Stele for Buddhist Monk Wonjong at Godalsa Temple Site was destroyed a long time ago. Only the tortoise-shaped pedestal and the ornamental capstone in the form of a hornless dragon remain at the site and the broken stele body is stored at the National Museum of Korea today. The stele is made of two kinds of rocks that are coarse-grained biotite granite for the pedestal and the capstone, and fine-grained biotite granite including hornblende assemblages and feldspar phenocrysts for the stele body. The coarse-grained biotite granite of the pedestal and capstone showed same magnetic susceptibility and lithological characteristics with biotite granite outcrops in Yeoju area, whereas the fine-grained granite of the stele body did not. To find a provenance of the stele body stone, we investigated Korean granites in terms of magnetic susceptibility, lithology and old recordings about construction process of the stele. As a result, Haeju granite is the most likely to be a cognate rock of the stele body stone as it has same texture and lithological characteristics like color, hornblende assemblages, mineral composition and magnetic susceptibility. It is imported from Haeju (North Korea) to South Korea via China commercially, and the most suitable for a replica stone of the stele body.

The importance of University Archives Management is increasing. In this study, we researched cases of collecting and managing educational archival contents in universities. Developed archival contents for software practical education, and implemented it to the Capstone Design course and overseas program. The effect of applying the model was analyzed through surveys and interviews. The Capstone Design Survey, involving 349 participants, indicated the highest satisfaction with the University-Industry Cooperation type. The experience of dissemination and enhancement was aggregated as the second highest satisfaction. In the second survey, 62 students who had participated in the overseas program over the span of two years took part. All nine Likert-type questions showed high satisfaction scores of more than 4 points. The top three satisfaction factors-content, program type, and advanced experience-showed high satisfaction scores of 4.85, 4.74, and 4.71, respectively. Through interviews with professors, mentors, and students, it was also confirmed that instructional methods utilizing archival contents are effective. And the model we developed is applicable for convergence education.

Through which Entrepreneurship and job creation in developed countries. This study explores the current status and characteristics of Entrepreneurship education in Korea and suggests some directions for effective management of Entrepreneurship education.

현재 사회적인 이슈가 되고 있는 불량 식품에 대한 경각심을 아이들에게 심어주어 좋은 식습관을 유지하도록 교육하는 앱을 개발하고자 한다. 개발하고자 하는 앱은 몸에 안좋은 불량식품을 좋아하는 아이들에게 경각심을 일깨워 주며, 불량 식품에 첨가된 발암불질, 표백제 등이 성장기 아이들에게 치명적임을 인식시키는 정보제공을 하며, 게임 형식을 통해 스스로 좋은 것과 나쁜 것에 대해 확인하여 창의적 자아활동을 유도 한다. 음식에 대한 올바른 이해와 함께 성장기 어린이들의 인지 및 언어 능력을 학습하고자 개발하였다.

본 작품은 학생들의 캡스톤디자인 작품이다. 본 작품은 역사적으로 존재했던 공룡에 대한 이해와 생명에 대한 존중을 알리기 위한 앱으로, 단조로움을 피하기 위해 게임형식으로 퀴즈를 풀어 공룡관련지식을 얻을 수 있도록 개발하였다. 따라서 본 앱은 공룡알부터 어미가 되는 일대기를 앱으로 표현하고자 하였으며 알에서부터 성장까지 중간중간에 정답을 맞추게 함으로써 공룡알이 시간에 따라 점점 성장하는 형식으로 꾸며졌다. 본 앱의 타겟 사용자인 유아기 어린이들의 생명에 대한 애정과 책임감을 강조하였고, 오락적인 측면을 합친 교육용 게임 어플리케이션이다.

본 작품은 학생들의 캡스톤디자인 작품이다. 본 작품은 특정한 형식에 구애받지 않고 자신만의 생각을 텍스트뿐만아니라 여기에 사진과 동영상 등의 다양한 멀티미디어를 함께 첨부할 수 있는 앱 형식의 전자책을 개발하고자 한다. 이 전자책은 디자인 템플릿을 통해 예쁘게 꾸밀 수 있으며, 본인이 담고 싶은 글을 책으로 만들고, 이렇게 만들어진 개성 있는 전자책은 상대방에게 공유를 통해 선물할 수 있는 어플리케이션으로 개발하고자 한다.

본 작품은 학생들의 캡스톤디자인 작품이다. 본 작품은 지금까지 내려온 전래동화에 나와 엄마, 아빠가 등장할 수 있는 있도록 동화속의 캐릭터 대신 독서자의 얼굴을 교체한 작품이다. 즉, 아이와 부모가 전자기기(갤럭시탭 등)에 등록된 사진을 동화속 주인공 대신 삽입하면 동화를 읽으면서 가족간 서로의 역할을 수행하는 작품으로 아이가 동화속에 이입될 수 있고, 집중할 수 있도록 꾸민 작품이다. 본 작품의 개발은 플래시 기술을 활용하지만, 앱 형태로 제작되어 동화를 좋아하는 아이와 부모가 쉽게 접근하도록 개발되었다.

This paper presents a concept of training coursework for engineers in cooperation with the industry combining system, comparing Korea with France. The students, after first two years in a university for the foundation/basic courses, will be centered in the industry, rather than at an academic institution, where field training engineering coursework will be offered in structured or capstone design(problem based learning) formats through the industry. This study on the improvement of the concept has several advantages including the followings ; 1) Industry hiring local-area students who have the potential to be long-term employees; 2) Industry's immediate access to employees with developing engineering skills; 3) On-the-job training reduced industry training costs after graduation; 4) More effective learning through observing complex operations; 5) Students and industry input for continuous improvement of the curriculum; 6) Greater amenability on the part of industry to actively participate in research and development; 7) Increasing in the flow of real research problems for engineering. Finally, the implications for student quality, accreditation, assessment of partnership, academic freedom, and fundraising for scholarships and researches are discussed briefly.

Design and management of information and industrial engineering (DMIIE) is a project-oriented junior/senior class that integrates the methodologies of industrial and information engineering in order to solve real-world problems. It examines social issues, engineering approaches to solve the problems and business models that can generate sustainable value for society. This course help students use their engineering knowledge to assess and solve the problems faced by local community. By conducting real-world projects, students get an opportunity to refine their oral and written communication skills. In this paper, the experience of DMIIE course is presented. The effects of the community-based learning for a senior design course are discussed. The possibility of using this blended type of design course to meet the ABEEK outcomes is also stated.

In this study, we investigated the perception difference of industrial managers and engineering faculties in the engineering education, and searched for a rational solution to resolve this perception differences. Both engineering faculties and industrial managers place strong emphasis on practical training, but they showed a significant difference in addressing the issues on the graduates of engineering education have. This different perceptions are occurred since the industrial managers prefer "the instant(or ready-made) human resource type", the ones to put to work right away whereas professors prefer the ones with the strong basic knowledge, "the potential human resource type", who may in the long run contribute to the development of the industry. We believe Finland Helsinki Engineering School's co-op course and Pennsylvania State University's Capstone Design Education are the good examples of nurturing "practical" human resource although both programs are conducted in very different imaginative ways.
