This paper proposes a computation model of the quantity supplied to optimize inventory costs for the fast fashion. The model is based on a forecasting, a store and production capacity, an assortment planning and quick response model for fast fashion retailers, respectively. It is critical to develop a standardized business process and mathematical model to respond market trends and customer requirements in the fast fashion industry. Thus, we define a product supply model that consists of forecasting, assortment plan, store capacity plan based on the visual merchandising, and production capacity plan considering quick response of the fast fashion retailers. For the forecasting, the decomposition method and multiple regression model are applied. In order to optimize inventory costs. A heuristic algorithm for the quantity supplied is designed based on the assortment plan, store capacity plan and production capacity plan. It is shown that the heuristic algorithm produces a feasible solution which outperforms the average inventory cost of a global fast fashion company.
In the railway system, transportation plan corresponds to a m aster plan for transport services. This service plan must be constructed to minimize operational cost or maximize revenue considering transportation demands and resource capacities in the railway operation company, and it includes several sub-planning activities such as train operation frequency plan, train (schedule) plan, train capacity assignment plan, and rolling stock requirement plan. In these sub- planning processes, train can be con side red as a product for providing customer services, and customer demands and operational advantages must be considered. In this paper, we present an effect estimation system for the train capacity pattern in a train schedule, and the effect of capacity pattern can be expressed as minimum spilled demand, minimum train service cost, and maximum train revenue or profit.
In semiconductor manufacturing, the probe process between fabrication and assembly process is constrained mostly by the equipment capacity because most products pass through the similar procedures. The probe process is usually performed in a batch mode with relatively short cycle times. The capability of the probe process can be determined by the optimal combination of the equipments and the products. A probe line usually has several types of equipment with different capacity. In this study, the probe line is modeled in terms of capacity to give the efficient planning and control procedure. For the practical usage, the hierarchical capacity planning procedure is used. First, a monthly capacity plan is made to meet the monthly production plan of each product. Secondly, the daily capacity planning is performed by considering the monthly capacity plan and the daily fabrication output. Simple heuristic algorithms for daily capacity planning are developed and some experimental results are shown.
The uncertainty of long term electricity plan consists of the uncertainty of demand forecast and additional generating capacity. Demand forecast is clearly improved the accuracy than the past through improving forecasting methods. However, the uncertainty of additional generating capacity is increased due to the change of market environment. In an operation by a sole utility, additional generating capacity would be possible by the regulation of government. Currently the generation companies have spined off from KEPCO and some IPPs participate the electricity market. It increases the uncertainty due to weakened regulation. Also the environment movement by NGOs and occurrence of civil affairs cause the increase of uncertainty. This research would analyze the current situation on the uncertainty of additional generating capacity and construction delays. Furthermore this research would present the plan to reflecting it in long term electricity plan.
Process planning is a very complex task and requires the dynamic informatioon of shop foor and market situations. Process plan selection is one of the main problems in the process planning. In this paper, we propose a new process plan selection model considering operation flexibility for the computer aided process planing. The model is formulated as a 0-1 integer programming considering realistic shop factors such as production volume, machining time, machine capacity, transportation time and capacity of tractors such as production volume, machining time, machine capacity, transportation time capacity of transfer device. The objective of the model is to minimize the sum of the processing and transportation time for all parts. A genetic algorithm a, pp.oach is developed to solve the model. The efficiency of the proposed a, pp.oach is verified with numerical examples.
Recently, Korea's electric industry is in the midst of a period of profound changes in the structure and function, including the introduction of market competition in the generation sector. Therefore, it is difficult to promote long-term capacity planning and new generating capacity construction which have been driven by KEPCO so far, after the introduction of market competition, so new generating capacity construction and security of reserve margin is needed through self·regulation plan of private generation producers by market mechanism. According to the competition in the generation sector, a new paradigm is necessary to the long-term capacity planning driven by the Government. This paper analyzes the plan and the incentive level able to guide the new generation capacity construction considering the uncertainty risk in a period of introduction of competition. In addition, this paper analyzes the plan able to guide the new capacity construction by market function at the stage which market become established and Government's role to solve the anxiety about the capacity supply and demand.

A capacity calculation and process analysis is a very important part for the entire ship production planning. Ship's production plan is set up with a concept that the product is produced based on the capacity achievable by the processes while general manufacturing sets up the production plan based on product lead-time. Therefore, in case the calculation of capacity for each process of shipbuilding yard is different from actual conditions, a series of production plan - ship table composition, dual schedule plan and execution schedule plan, etc - may accumulate errors, lose reliability of planning information and cause heavy cost deficit in this course. In particular, in case of new shipbuilding yard, stocks between processes are built up and half blocks are not supplied in timely manner, and that is sometimes due to the clumsiness of the operator but it is more often because of the capacity to execute each process is not logically calculated. Therefore, this paper presents the process to calculate the assembly leadtime and assembly process capacity for shipbuilding yard assembly factory. This paper calculated the block type for calculation of assembly lead time based on block DAP(detailed assembly procedure), and introduced cases that calculate production capacities by assembly surface plate by considering the surface plate occupied area of the blocks that change depending on assembly field area and assembly processes through assembly simulation.

This paper develops methodology in order to consider CHP(Combined Heat and Power) capacity in the Basic Plan of Long Term Electricity Supply & Demand. We develop generating cost of CHP considering electric and heat. Also we develop mixed load duration curve which includes the electric load and heat load and then apply CHP capacity to SCM(Screening Curve Method) considering CHP feature. Accordingly, it decide the optimal CHP capacity in the Basic Plan of Long Term Electricity Supply & Demand. Also, We perform the sensitivity analysis according to cost variation.

In order to set the simple criteria to distinguish being or not facilities of Consultation about Energy Use Plan, data analysis and case analysis were carried out. This paper proposes that building, one of the facilities, is being object of the Consultation about Energy Use Plan when in the public project, its gross area is more than 75,000 $m^2$ or main transformer capacity is more than 9,000 kVA and when in the private project, its gross area is more than 100,000 $m^2$ or main transformer capacity is more than 11,500 kVA. Also shows that factory, another of the facilities, is being object when in the private project, its main transformer capacity is more than 6,000 kVA or boiler capacity is more than 24 ton/h and when in the public project, its main transformer capacity is more than 3,000 kVA or boiler capacity is more than 12 ton/h.
Allocation of water pollution load from loading capacity can be much essential, controversial, and its standards can be applied case-by-case to the various situations. Allocation methods to point sources are generally 'Equal effluent concentration', 'Equal percent Treatment', Loading capacity at planning stage consists of basic pollution load, development pollution load, reserved pollution load and margin of safety. But at the implementing stage loading capacity can be consisted of allocatable load and margin of safety to give more flexibility in the total water pollution load management plan. In that case, we can re-adjust and altogether use the pollution load of point sources of series and non-point sources at the implementing stage.
