LEAP 모델 적용을 통한 대학단위 온실가스 감축안 도출 - 한양대학교 안산캠퍼스 대상으로 (Greenhouse Gas Reduction Scenario from LEAP Model Application to a University Campus-For Hanyang University Ansan Campus)

  • 본 연구에서는 대학 캠퍼스 단위에서의 온실가스 인벤토리 구축을 위해 한양대학교 안산캠퍼스를 대상으로 직접 배출원(도시가스, 실내등유, 이동연소), 간접 배출원(전력), 기타 배출원(항공, 수도) 세 부분으로 온실가스 배출원을 규명하였으며, 2007년부터 2009년까지 온실가스 배출원별 에너지 사용량에 따른 온실가스 배출량을 산정하였다. 그 결과, 전체 온실가스 배출영역 중 가장 많은 부분을 차지하는 것은 간접배출의 전력부문으로 전체 온실가스 배출량의 56.7% 차지하는 것을 확인하였다. 또한, 대학본부에서 수행 가능한 온실가스 감축시나리오 및 학교구성원이 수행 가능한 온실가스 감축 실천시나리오를 대학환경에 적합하게 설계한 후 LEAP 모델을 이용하여 2007년부터 2020년까지의 온실가스 감축잠재량을 평가하였다. 그 결과, 감축시나리오 적용시 2020년 BAU(배출전망치) 대비 2020년에는 직접배출 중 고정연소에서 63.34 ton $CO_{2eq}/yr$, 이동연소에서 221.1 ton $CO_{2eq}/yr$ 감축되었으며, 간접배출 중 조명에서는 4,637.34 ton $CO_{2eq}/yr$ 온실가스가 감축되는 것으로 산출되었다. 또한, 실천시나리오를 통한 온실가스 감축잠재량은 1293.76 ton $CO_{2eq}/yr$으로 산출되었다. 따라서, 한양대학교 안산 캠퍼스에 감축 실천 시나리오를 모두 적용한다면 2020년에는 2020년 BAU 대비 온실가스를 총 24% 감축할 수 있을 것으로 추정된다.

  • In 2009, two national universities were integrated into one and the following was newly named Gangneung- Wonju National University. Therefore, this university requires consolidation and promotion of UI(University Identity) as a college brand in order to secure and enhance its competitiveness. The purpose of this study was to design and develop campus-wear, ultimately, it can be used as a part of the Gangeung-Wonju University's UIP policy. A qualitative approach of searching==incorporating books, dissertations, and web-based information==was taken to investigate theoretical backgrounds. The campus-wears were collected from the selected universities in Korea and abroad for the distinct design development. The result of the research are as follows. The concept for the design planning was "wit, exciting & challenge for campus life". The developed UI had focused on expressing positive images of the University. Six items were chosen for the campus-wear design. The goal was to demonstrate practicality and fashion trend. The color arrangement primarily focused on the University's official color and pursued a bright, breeze look. The detailed techniques used for the actual production were printing, embroidery, and accessories. The UI products may not only instill the members of the university with the spirit and pride by strengthening the sense of belonging, but also create a synergistic effect in education by boosting the university promotion and by newly establishing standing as the integrated university.

대학 소극장의 공간 계획에 관한 기초적 연구 - 서울시 소재 소극장의 내부 공간 분석을 중심으로 - (A Basic Study on the Space Planning of the University Small Theater - Focused on the Space Analysis of the Small Theaters in Seoul -)

  • The purpose of this research is to make a basic study of a small theater planned to be built on the university campus for the exclusive use of performing arts. For this, the documents and records of small theaters in Seoul was first reviewed. And then, some selected theaters among small theaters opened since 2000 was examined and analyzed by their blueprints, design maps and actual measurement on the spot. Since 1990s, the increase in per capital income, the advancement of culture and arts, and the accompanying increase in demand have prompted universities to open performing arts courses. Going beyond the concept of a multipurpose auditorium a space devoted to professional performances has been increasingly needed by many universities. Small theaters that have been the subjects of study have become extinct or changed for other uses due to the rapid changes in the performing environment. This research examined theaters that have opened since 2000 and analyzed the data on their stages and seats. This study is intended for providing preliminary data for building of a small theater on the university campus.

인공환경 분포방식에 의한 공간크기 인지 변화에 대한 연구 - 대학 캠퍼스 내 공간의 실제크기와 인지크기의 차이를 중심으로 - (Distortion of Spatial Size Perception by the Pattern of Object Distribution - Focused on the Floor-area Estimation of the Spaces in the Campus by Students -)

  • An attempt has been made to prove the so-called 'feature accumulation theory'. It is the theory describing that people tend to feel the same space with more identifiable objects much larger than that with fewer objects. Applying this theory to our cognition of spatial size, this paper made an experiment. Students were asked that if the lecture room they are sitting becomes a module (module 1), then how large are the questioned spaces in the campus. The result was striking. Through the mental image processing, they answered that the library and the architecture building looks much smaller than they actually are, and more surprisingly the basketball field much more smaller than it really is. This experiment shows that there is a strong tendency by which people regard the space much larger when there are more occupiable or behavior-causing elements in the space. In the case of basketball field, since there is nothing that can be occupied, this open space is seen as a small space for the subjects. This line of cognitive perception can be applied to the practice of urban planning and architectural planning. With the same size of given space, we can make it feel more rich and larger.

Comparative study on bearing characteristics of pervious concrete piles in silt and clay foundations

  • With the advantages of high permeability and strength, pervious concrete piles can be suitable for ground improvement with high water content and low bearing capacity. By comparing the strength and permeability of pervious concrete with different aggregate sizes (3-5 mm and 4-6 mm) and porosities (20%, 25%, 30% and 35%), the recommended aggregate size (3-5 mm) and porosity (30%) can be achieved. The model tests of the pervious concrete piles in soft soil (silt and clay) foundations were conducted to evaluate the bearing characteristics, results show that, for the higher consolidation efficiency of the silty foundation, the bearing capacity of the silty foundation is 16% higher, and the pile-soil stress ratio is smaller. But when it is the ultimate load for the piles, they will penetrate into the underlying layer, which reduces the pile-soil stress ratios. With higher skin friction of the pile in the silty foundation, the pile penetration is smaller, so the decrease of the pile axial force can be less. For the difference in consolidation efficiency, the skin friction of pile in silt is more affected by the effective stress of soil, while the skin friction of pile in clay is more affected by the lateral stress. When the load reaches 4400 N, the skin friction of the pile in the silty foundation is about 35% higher than that of the clay foundation.

  • 캠퍼스플랜은 대학의 공간적 가치와 특성, 정체성을 포함한다. 세계적으로 친환경에 대한 인식이 높아지면서 캠퍼스 정책과 플랜에도 그린캠퍼스 논의와 실행, 인증이 진행되고 있다. 본 연구의 목적은 캐나다 UBC의 지속가능한 캠퍼스플랜을 통해 그린캠퍼스 인증제와 별도로 UBC가 추구하는 지속가능한 대학캠퍼스 장책 및 공간, 실천전략으로서 건축적용 사례를 분석한다. 이를 통해 캠퍼스플랜의 지속가능한 방향과 건축의 실천요소들을 도출하고자 한다. 결과, 첫째, 개별 건축물과 전체적인 목표와 부합성이 중요했다. 대학은 지속가능한 캠퍼스를 만들기 위한 목표설정 및 전략적인 실행체계가 필요하다. 둘째, 초기 단계에서 각 분야의 전문가 또는 이해관계자들의 참여형 디자인샤렛을 통한 가이드라인의 설정과 제도적 계획과정이 필요했다. 셋째, 완공 후 건축물의 실시간 에너지 사용량의 비교, 검증 모니터링과 이것의 피드백을 적용하는 선순환 구조체계가 필요했다. 본 연구는 지속가능한 도시의 리빙랩 개념으로서 캠퍼스정책과 플랜이 필요하다는 의도를 갖는다. 또한, 국내 대학의 상황에 부합하는 지속가능성의 목표와 실행방안 수립 모색에 근거가 될 수 있다는 점에서 의미가 있다.

캠퍼스내 레거시 웹서버 통합 운영을 위한 클라우드 컴퓨팅의 최적용량 및 전환이익 분석 (Conversion Profit and Optimal Capacity of Cloud Computer for Integrating Legacy Campus Web Servers)

  • 홈페이지 서비스를 주로 하는 웹 서버들의 평균 이용률이 대체로 낮고 업무 부하의 변화도 크지 않은 편이다. 또한 대부분의 사용자가 구성원 등으로 국한되고 새로운 서버를 구매할 때 최적용량 보다는 최대용량을 선택하는 경향이 있어 과도한 서버를 독점 운용하게 된다. 웹 서버의 운용에는 초기 비용뿐 아니라 평상시 운용비용도 포함된다. 평균 이용률이 낮은 웹 서버들을 클라우딩하여 통합 운영하면 사용자에게 동일한 품질을 제공하면서도 총 비용을 줄일 수 있을 것이다. 본 논문에서는 캠퍼스내의 여러 웹 서버들을 클라우딩하여 통합 운영할 때 기존 웹 서버와 동일한 서비스품질을 제공하기 위한 최적용량을 산출하고 그때 절약되는 비용을 분석한다. 전통적인 웹 서버들과 통합 클라우딩을 위한 서비스 모델을 정립하고 사용자 요구 행태에 따른 최적용량을 대기이론으로 분석하고 비용 절감 정도를 제시한다. 제시된 서비스 모델과 분석 결과는 중대규모의 대학 캠퍼스는 물론 비슷한 규모의 기업, 기관들에 쉽게 응용할 수 있다.

공간구문론을 이용한 대학교 캠퍼스 코어의 공간구조 유형 및 특성 분석 (A Study on the Analysis of the Configuration and Properties of University Campus Cores through Space Syntax)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the configuration and properties of university campus cores for systematic approach and planning through space syntax based on master plans of 55 universities in Korea. The results of this study showed that: first, the campus cores were classified into 10 types through axial map analysis. They were '一 type', '二 type', 'ㄱ type', 'T type', '+ type', 'radiation type', 'grid type', 'polygon type', 'tree structure type' and 'combination type'.(table 7) The frequency of '一 type' was the highest by 27.2%, and 'radiation type' was the next by 14.5%; second, the integration value was 2.03(+ type), te90(grid type), te75(ㄱ type), te74(一 type), te67(二 type), te63(T type), te46(polygon type), te347(tree structure type) and te343(radiation type).(table 9) We could categorize the 'radiation type' and the 'tree structure type' as the first group, the 'polygon type' as the second group, the 'T type', the '二 type', the '一 type', and the 'ㄱ type' as the third group, the 'grid type' as the fourth group, the '+ type' as the fifth group; third, cases that the integration value of access road was very low(58.2%) was much more frequent than that of very high(32.7%); fourth, the most important space in the campus core were as follows: library and media center(18.1%), administration buildings and headquarters(15.7%), student center(15.7%), lecturing building(13.9%), streets and squares(13.3%).

도심 캠퍼스 공유공간의 공간 구조 변화에 대한 연구 - 그리드락의 반대 개념으로서의 공유 캠퍼스로의 변화에 대하여 - (A Study on the Change of Spatial Structures of Shared Space at Urban Campuses - The opposite concept of Gridlock upon the change to shared campuses -)

  • Urban campus, one of the main urban facilities, is the representative place that is struggling with 'gridlock'. Due to privatization of space among different departments and space shortages, gridlock has been occurring as a result. The urban campus trying to solve this problem by changing the quality of space, especially the structure of the shared space, which is expected to be the solution to the grid lock problem. The main purpose of this study is to investigate the structural change in the university's shared space based on paradigm transition. The theoretical consideration is to analyze the spatial characteristics of university shared space that appear at different stages through a new perspective that compares the gridlock phenomenon and the shared paradigm. The framework of the analysis of the shared space, which has recently been restructured, is classified into the spatial characteristics of collaborative space, the creative space, and the common/complex space. In addition, these spatial characteristics are again analyzed through the division of legislative facility classification, management governance subject, area, building location and layout, exposure to the outside as well as the analysis of student and staff entry and exit, sharing structure of site and space, and the classification of program characteristics. The results are as follows: The restructured space is systemized so that the management governance of each space would be connected to each other to share information and space. Furthermore, the spatial boundary between colleges or between campus spaces are not only physically, but categorically clear. The restructured space has semi (or in-between)-spatial characteristics such as the intersection in inside and outside of the pedestrian's circulation and the mixture of programs. This study could serve as principal references in presenting the systematic analysis of directions of the shared spatial structure for the urban campus where new educational space is required due to the changes in the university system.

A Simple Interactive 3D Interior Design Application for Living Room - Cost Management

  • The title of this project is "A Simple Interactive 3D Interior Design Application for Living Room - Cost Management", focusing on developing an application that enables costing and designing to be executed concurrently in interior design phases. This is because any changes made at costing phase after design phase is completed, it will potentially lead to unnecessary increase in cost and time. Therefore, the objective of this project is aimed to devise a cost management module to be included in the proposed application, allowing interior designer to make cost-based decision at the designing phase itself. This can be achieved through its proposed functions which include total cost update, budget management, cost estimator calculator and material list generation. The methodology being proposed in this project is Prototyping Development, categorized under Rapid Application Development (RAD), by starting off with planning, analysis, design and implementation phases are performed concurrently and repeatedly in a cycle to produce a prototype until the application is completed. In the end of this project, the developed prototype is expected to contribute a better solution towards cost management in interior design.
