The increment of user at mobile communication system requires the need of increased system capacity. To increase the system capacity can be realized by decreasing the size of cell. But, this method causes various problems. Therefore, it be used the hierarchical cellular system with macrocell and microcell for a efficient working. The users feel more inconvenience about the drop of connected call than the block of new call. Therefore, it is to be desired that the dropping rate of handoff call is lowered. At this paper, we use non reversible hierarchical scheme and fixed channel assignment scheme at the hierarchical cellular system with macrocell and microcell for the call process strategy. We analyze the system performance in accordance with the number of guard channel for handoff.

In this paper, the prioritized queueing handoff scheme in CDMA (Code Division Multiple Access) cellular system is proposed. Also, the analytical survey for the proposed scheme is carried out, and the performance of this scheme is compared with that of non prioritized scheme and FIFO (First In First Out) queue scheme by computer simulation. The handoff region is defined as the time between the handoff treshold and the receiver threshold, and it is used for the maximum queue waiting time in the proposed scheme. The handoff and the receiver thresholds are defined as rewpectively: 1) the time that the Pilot Strength Measurement Message in the neighbor in the neighbor cell is received to the BS (Base Station) under the T_ADD threshold; and 2) the time that the T_DROP timer is expired and the Pilot Strength Measurement Message in the current cell is received to the BS under the T_DROP threshold. The performance metrics for analyzing the proposed scheme are : 1) probability of forced termination; 2) probability of call blocking; 3) ratio of carried traffic to total offered load; 4) average queue size; 5) average handoff delay time in queue. The simulation results show that the proposed scheme maintains high performance for handoff requests at a small penalty in total system capacity.
A new thermal inkjet printer head on SOI wafer with virtual valve was proposed. It was composed of two rectangular heaters with same size. So we could call it T-jet(Twin jet). T-jet has a lot of merits. It has the advantage of being fabricated with one wafer and is easy to change the size of chamber, nozzle, restrictor and so on. However, above all, It is the best point that T-jet has a virtual valve. And it was manufactured on SOI wafer. The chamber was formed in its upper silicon whose thickness was 40um. The chamber's bottom layer was silicon dioxide of SOI wafer and two heaters were located underneath the chamber's ceiling. And the restirctor was made beside the chamber. Nozzle was molded by process of Ni plating. Ni was 30um thick. Nozzle ejection test was performed by printer head having 56 nozzles in 2 columns with 600NPI(nozzle per inch) and black ink. It measured a drop velocity of 12m/s, a drop volume of 30pl, and a maximum firing frequency of 12KHz for single nozzle ejection. Throwing out the ink drop in whole nozzles at the same time, it was observed that the uniformity of the drop velocity and volume was less than 4%.

The microcell terrain is the most common wireless network terrain in our life. In order to solve wireless network optimization of weak coverage in the microcell terrain, improve call quality and reduce the cost of the premise, power amplifiers in base stations should be adjusted according to user volume. In this paper, characteristics of microcell topography are obtained after analysis. According to the topography characteristics of different microcells, changes in the number of users at different times have been estimated, meanwhile, the number of scatter users are also obtained by monitoring the PCCPCH RSCP and other parameters. Then B-Spline interpolation method has been applied to scatter users to obtain the continuous relationship between the number of users and time. On this basis, power amplification can be chosen according to changes in the number of users. The methods adopted by this paper are also applied in the engineering practice, sampling and interpolation are used to obtain the number of users at all times, so that the power amplification can be adjusted by the number of users in a microcell. Such a method is able to optimize wireless network and achieve a goal of expanding the area of base stations, reduce call drop rate and increase capacity.
The determination method of 2-mercapto-1-methyl-imidazole(MMI) in $5.0{\times}10^{-2}M$ lithium perchlorate solution has been investigated by the differential pulse polarography. The optimum conditions for the determination of MMI were as fellows; -0.9 volt(vs. Ag/AgCl) initial potential, 80mV pulse height, 2mV/sec scan rate, and medium mercury drop size. The calibration curve showed a good linearlity in the range of $1.0{\times}10^{-7}M$ to $8.0{\times}10^{-5}M$ and the detection limit was $2.2{\times}10^{-9}M$. This method was applicable to the determination of MMI in thyroid drugs without interference from the additives.

In offering a statistical end-to-end bandwidth guarantee service, typically called Assured Service, in Differentiated Serviced (Diff-Serv) framework, the biggest issue is its inconsistency. Larger profile TCP flows fail to achieve the guaranteed rate when competing with many smaller profile flows. This phenomenon, which we call "bandwidth skew", stems from the fact that larger profile flows take longer time to recover from the congestion window size backoff after a packet drop. Proposed solutions to this problem, therefore, are focused on modifying the TCP behavior. However, TCP modification is not practicable, mainly due to its large installation base. We look to other mechanisms in the Diff-Serv framework to find more realistic solutions. In particular, we demonstrate that RIO, the de facto standard packet differentiation mechanism used for Assured Service, also contributes to the bandwidth skew. Based on this new finding, we design a modified RIO mechanism called RI+O. RI+O uses OUT queue length in addition to IN and IN+OUT queue length to calculate OUT packet drop probability. We show through extensive simulation that RI+O significantly alleviates the bandwidth skew, expanding the operating regime for Assured Service.d Service.
Multimedia contents what we call Digital Items include various types of resources such as music, speech, text, video, graphics, and so on. The current Adaptation QoS described in the ISO/IEC 21000-7 CD-Part 7: Digital Item Adaptation, however, lacks adaptation methods for audio signals. The goal of this paper is to provide adaptation methods that are necessary to deal with audio signals. Two operations are introduced in order to adapt audio items. One method is to make use of the functionality of Fine Grain Scalability, and the other is intended to drop the channel of audio output channel. This paper provides a DIA description tool that associates the operators with the corresponding values of the constraint and the utility. Furthermore, the operations are evaluated and compared to alternative solutions.
When providing flexible data transmission for future CDMA(Code Division Multiple Access) cellular networks, problems arise in two aspects: transmission rate. This paper has proposed an approach to maximize the cellular network capacity by combining the genetic transmission rate allocation and a rapid power control algorithm. We present a genetic chromosome representation to express call drop numbers and transmission rate to control mobile's transmission power levels while handling their flexible transmission rates. We suggest a rapid power control algorithm, which is based on optimal control theory and Steffenson acceleration technique comparing with the existing algorithms. Computer simulation results showed effectiveness and efficiency of the proposed algorithm Conclusively, our proposed scheme showed high potential for increasing the cellular network capacity and it can be the fundamental basis of future research.
The stress of connection points between railway vehicle equipment and carbody is considered as one of the important railway safety factor under the vehicle service condition. If any material or equipment drop in to the rail during the service condition, the vehicle call be lose its control as well as run off the rail. The be]t safety evaluation method by using hand calculation is broadly used by manufacturer is introduced in this paper. Two different kinds of the bolt, such as regular bolt and the bolt aluminum extruded carbody use, are tested based on U.I.C according to equipment fixed. The effect of holder and base to bolt under tile loading condition is analyzed on this paper.

This paper proposes enhanced designs of global service logic and information flow for the mass-call based IN service, which increase call completion rates and optimize the resource in joint wired and wireless networks. In order to hanve this logic implemented, we design a Dynamic Queue Manager(DQM) applied to the call queuing service feature in the Service Control Point(SCP). In order to apply this logic to wireless service subscribers as well as wired service subscribers, the service registration flags between the Home Location Register(HLR) and the SCP are managed to notify the DQM of the corresponding service subscribers’ mobility. Hence, we present a dynamic queue management mechanism, which dynamically manages the service group and the queue size based on M/M/c/K queueing model as the wireless subscribers roam the service groups due to their mobility characteristics. In order to determine the queue size allocated by the DQM, we simulator and analyze the relationship between the number of the subscriber’s terminals and the drop rate by considering the service increment rate. The appropriate waiting time in the queue as required is simulated according to the above relationship. Moreover, we design and implement the DQM that includes internal service logic interacting with SIBs(Service Independent building Blocks) and its data structure.
