캘리퍼 실린더의 피로에 대한 내구성 해석 (Durability Analysis on Fatigue of Caliper Cylinder)

  • In this study, two models due to the configuration of caliper cylinder among the parts of automotive brake system are studied by structural and fatigue analysis. As the maximum equivalent stress at model 2 becomes 1.5 times lower than model 1, model 2 can endure load higher than model 1. In case of fatigue damage analysis on model 1 and 2, model 1 has the damage area more than model 2. Fatigue damage at model 1 happen more than model 2. These study results can be effectively utilized with the design on caliper cylinder by anticipating prevention against its damage and investigating durability.

자동차 제동시스템의 패드, 라이닝, 허브디스크에 관련된 트라이볼로지적인 특성에 관한 고장사례연구 (Failure Study for Tribological Characteristics Including with Pad, Lining and Hub disk in Vehicle Brake System)

  • The purpose of this paper is to study and analyze the improvement method for the failure examples including the vehicle brake system in actual field. It was verified that the indicator plate of pad wear scratched the brake disk because of wearing after displacement of non- identification parts pad. The caliper of other vehicle was installed with brake system verified the phenomenon produced groove in center point because of one side wear when the pad was not fully contacted with the rub disk by other action surface pressure and pad action condition. It verified that the crack phenomenon fatigue was produced by brake thermal deformation because of decreasing the thickness by grinding to modify the non-uniformed wear of brake disk. It verified that the friction sound was produced by the friction phenomenon because of non-uniformed contact of lining and an alien substance with inner of the drum and lining braking by crack phenomenon with brake drum surface.

드래그 토오크의 자동 성능시험기 개발에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Development of the Automatic Performance-Test-Bench for Drag Torque)

  • Recently, the automotive industry has been developing rapidly. With the progress parts of the automobile components need high quality and the reliability. Among them, braking unit is essential device, and acquire the reliability through the performance test of brake. This study was aimed to design the performance-test-bench to measure the drag torque which has effect on caliper in braking unit. In this progressive technology, it is vital importance to use hydraulic and pneumatic, and to combine test bench with instrumentation engineering technology. This system to construct the design of hydraulic and pneumatic circuit, interface technique between sensors and personal computer, data acquisition and display design, and integrated control are very important technology. Moreover, reliable data are obtained through vacuum system and hydraulic and pneumatic system by using of booster and brake master cylinder which are actually applied to automobile. Then, data signal detector sensors for speed, pressure and torque is attached on this system. Therefore, in this study, we designed a performance-test-bench by and we also made an total control system using personal computer which is more progressive and flexible method than existing PLC control.

Improvement of Intermittent Advancing Accuracy of Pneumatic Cylinder-Driven Roll Feeder

  • A proposed pneumatic cylinder-driven roll feeder and an air press were designed to be operated automatically by a PLC. The accuracy of the intermittent feed pitch of the roll feeder was evaluated by measuring lengths of cut-offs of a strip stock by a digimatic vernier caliper. At each predetermined feed pitch, the proposed roll feeder was tested 100 times by varying the feed/cut intervals as 2.0/1.5, 3.0/2.0, and 3.5/2.5 s as test sets. The lengths of the cutoffs of the strip stock ranged from 9.89-10.34, 12.1-12.65, and 15.21-15.67 mm at the predetermined 10, 12, and 15 mm feed pitch, respectively, among the total of 300 samples in each feed pitch, regardless of the feed/shear interval. Therefore, the feed/cut interval at each selected feed pitch was found to have no effect on the accuracy of the intermittent advancing of the strip stock.

전류변화에 따른 Over Cut에 관한 실험적 연구

  • A study is drawn up its result's tables and graphs by measuring tools(outside micrometer cylinder gauge and dial caliper gauge) on the difference of diameter volumes from before-discharge and after-discharge under 52 Kind's experimental condition by cupper and graphite electrode of CNC EDM. The EDM is attached with A.V.R. and memory scope for keep up accuracy and the fixed table of work piece is used in order to eliminate the noise by the internal resistance of it and forcing to eradicate the discharge liquid. It is analyzed cutting conditions to compare its wave value and pulse time.(Ton Toff) through voltage and current for decreasing working error.

목재수축률 측정에 대한 총설 (Review on The Measurement of Wood Shrinkage)

  • 본 논문에서는 목재 수축률에 관한 1976-2015년도에 발표된 목재공학회지 논문을 정리하였다. 국내산 낙엽송(Larix kaempferi) 수축률을 측정한 연구자들간에 접선방향 수축률은 4.21%-9.79%, 방사방향 수축률은 2.09%-4.67%, 섬유방향 수축률은 0.17%-0.33%로 접선방향 2.3배, 방사방향 2.2배, 섬유방향 1.9배로 연구자들마다 측정 값에 차이가 나타났다. 소나무(Pinus densiflora) 시편 크기가 $20{\times}20{\times}20mm$에서 $100{\times}100{\times}100mm$로 증가함에 따라 접선방향, 방사방향, 부피수축률은 2.61%, 1.32%, 0.80% 감소하였다. 아피통(Dipterocarpus grandiflorus)을 밀폐건조, 오븐건조, 실온건조 하였을 때 부피수축률은 31.6%, 26.5%, 21.0%로 건조방법에 따라 5.5%-10.6% 차이가 나타났으며 건조온도가 $115^{\circ}C$, $120^{\circ}C$, $125^{\circ}C$로 증가함에 따라 낙엽송의 수축률은 일정한 증가, 감소 경향이 보이지 않았다. $20mm^3$ 크기의 삼나무(Cryptomeria japonica) 시편을 한국산업규격(KS F 2203, 2004)에서 제시하는 정밀도 0.01 mm의 길이측정도구로 수축률을 측정하였을 때, 방사, 섬유방향 수축률 측정오차는 1.97%, 35.7%로 크게 나타났다. 목재의 수축률은 시편 크기, 건조방법, 측정방법에 영향을 받는 것으로 나타났다.

편심회전축 기반의 전기기계식 제동장치의 피로수명 해석 (Fatigue Analysis for Electro-Mechanical Brake Caliper based on Eccentric Rotating Shaft)

  • 전기기계식 제동장치(EMB : Electro-Mechanical Brake)는 자동차 및 철도차량의 차세대 제동장치로서 현재 연구가 활발히 진행되고 있다. 현재의 철도차량용 제동장치는 공압 실린더를 이용하여 제동 압부력을 발생시키나 전기기계식 제동장치 (EMB)에서는 전기 모터 및 기어와의 조합을 통하여 압부력을 발생시킨다. 본 연구에서는 고압부력 발생이 가능한 편심회전축 기반의 전기기계식 제동장치에 대한 유한요소 모델링 및 내구 수명해석을 통하여 국내 기준에 부합하는 전기기계식 제동장치의 설계를 진행하였다. 이때 내구수명해석의 정확도를 향상하기 위하여 시제품에 사용되는 소재와 동일한 열처리 등을 거친 피로시험 시편을 3종을 제작하여 소재별로 피로시험을 진행하였다. 각각의 소재에 대한 피로시험 결과로부터 피로물성치(응력-수명 선도)를 획득하여 해석모델에 반영하였다. 피로해석 결과로부터 EMB 시제품의 설계가 국내 철도차량용 내구수명 조건인 상용최대 제동/완해 53 만회를 만족할 수 있음을 확인하였다. 또한, 이 설계를 바탕으로 시제품을 제작하고 내구시험을 완료하여 개발된 시제품의 내구성 특성을 입증할 계획이다.
