희석 파라미터법에 의한 주석슬랙중 Ta$_2O_5,\;Nb_2O_5,\;SnO_2$ 및 ZrO$_2$의 X-선형광분석에 관한 연구 (A Study on X-Ray Fluorescence Analysis of Ta$_2O_5,\;Nb_2O_5,\;SnO_2$ and ZrO$_2$ in Tin-slag Samples)

  • 희석 파라미터법을 이용한 X-선 형광분광법으로 주석슬랙중 Ta$_2$O$_5$, Nb$_2$O$_5$, SnO$_2$ 및 ZrO$_2$를 정량하였으며 그들의 분석결과를 표준검정곡선법으로 얻은 결과들과 비교하였다. 주석슬랙 시료와 주석슬랙과 비슷한 조성을 갖는 한개의 표준시료를 적당한 희석제(La$_2$O$_3$)로 1 : 1, 1 : 2, 1 : 3, 1 : 4로 각각 희석하였다. 원시료와 희석된 시료의 X-선 세기를 측정하여 희석 파라미터항이 포함된 계산식을 이용하여 함량을 계산하였다. 그 결과 분석값은 표준검정곡선법에 의한 기준값들과 잘 일치하고 있음을 확인하였다.

  • 이온 선택성 미소전극과 전위계를 이용하여 생물막내 이온 농도 측정을 위한 신호 계측 시스템을 구성하였다. 제작된 신호 계측 시스템의 성능과 적용성을 평가하기 위하여 보정곡선의 기울기, 검출한계, 시간경과에 따른 응답신호의 변화, 전위차 선택계수를 조사하였다. 보정곡선의 기울기는 목적이온 농도에 밀접한 비례관계를 나타내었다. 신호 계측 시스템은 $10{\mu}M$ 이하의 낮은 검출한계를 가졌으며, 실험에 사용된 방해이온에 민감하지 않았다. 본 연구에서 제작된 전위계는 상용되는 전위계와의 성능을 비교하였을 때 보정곡선 기울기, 검출한계, 응답시간에서 비슷한 경향을 나타내었다. 본 연구에서 제작된 신호 계측 시스템은 생물막내 이온농토 측정 연구를 위한 경제적이며 신뢰성 있는 시스템으로 사용될 수 있을 것이다.

환경부 8일 유량.수질 자료를 이용한 SWAT 자동보정 모듈 개선 및 적용 평가 (Enhancement and Application of SWAT Auto-Calibration using Korean Ministry of Environment 8-Day Interval Flow/Water Quality data)

  • Soil and Water Assessment Tool (SWAT) model has been widely used in estimation of flow and water quality at various watersheds worldwide, and it has an auto-calibration tool that could calibrate the flow and water quality data automatically from thousands of simulations. However, only continuous measured day flow/water quality data could be used in the current SWAT auto-calibration tool. Therefore, 8-day interval flow and water quality data measured nationwide by Korean Ministry of Environment (MOE) could not be used in SWAT auto-calibration even though long-term flow and water quality data in the Korean Total Maximum Daily Load (TMDL) watersheds available. In this study, current SWAT auto-calibration was modified to calibrate flow and water quality using 8-day interval flow and water quality data. As a result of this study, the Nash and Sutcliffe Efficiency (NSE) values for flow estimation using auto-calibration are 0.77 (calibration period) and 0.68 (validation period), and NSE value for water quality (T-P load) estimation (using the 8-day interval water quality data) is 0.80. The enhanced SWAT auto-calibration could be used in the estimation of continuous flow and water quality data at the outlet of TMDL watersheds and ungaged point of watersheds. In the next study, the enhanced SWAT auto-calibration will be integrated with Web based Load Duration Curve (LDC) system, and it could be suggested as methods of appraisal of TMDL in South Korea.

토양 중금속 함량 측정에 대한 토양오염공정시험기준과 국제표준간의 적합성 평가 (Assessment for the Comparability between Korean Ministry of Environment Standard and ISO Standard for the Determination of Heavy Metals in Soil)

  • According to the agreement on WTO/TBT, we are under the situation to adopt international standard (ISO standard) as a national standard if it exists. However, in case of environmental area, it is a domestic legal obligation to use Korean environmental standard method(KESM) for analyzing various contaminants. Therefore it is necessary to assess the comparability between KEM and ISO standard prior to apply ISO standard to soil conservation law in Korea. The main purpose of this study is to assess the comparability of both methods for analyzing heavy metals in soil. We looked over various aspects like pre-treatment, calibration curve range, detection wavelength, soil organic matter content and so on. Apparently, the procedure of both methods is almost same. However in details, both methods are different in stationary time before aqua-regia extraction using reflux system, calibration curve range for Cu, Pb, Ni and measuring wavelength for Pb. According to the results of comparison test, the results were significantly different when the different calibration range was used. In case that all the extracts independent of methods were reanalyzed with the same calibration range of each method, both methods showed statistically same results. Other conditions like different stationary time, measuring wavelength of AAS and soil organic matter content did not have any influence on the analytical result. Therefore, we suggest to extend the calibration curve range to 0~8 mg/L which is used in KS I ISO standard(Korean standard related with environment which is translation version of ISO standard without any technical change). In case of $Cr^{6+}$, the results showed no significant differences between two methods even though the pretreatment, instrumentation and other analysis conditions were different. In addition to UV/Visble spectrometry of KESM for soil contamination, we suggest to adopt ion chromatography of ISO 15192(US EPA method 7199) for analyzing $Cr^{6+}$ with the consideration of laboratory work efficiency.

포획된 부유물질의 입도분포를 고려한 탁도계 검교정 (Turbidity Meter Calibrations Based on Grain Size Distribution of Trapped Suspended Material)

  • 가덕도 인근 연안해역에서 채취된 해저 퇴적물과 연직방향으로 배열된 표사포획장치로부터 획득된 부유물질을 이용하여 탁도계 검교정을 수행하였다. 포획된 부유물질은 모래 함량이 약 6%인 해저 퇴적물에 비하여 주로 실트 및 점토로 조성되었으며, 해저면으로부터의 놀이가 증가함에 따라 세립화하는 경향을 보였다. 해저 퇴적물에 대한 탁도계 검교정 선형 회귀식의 기울기는 최소값으로 나타났으며, 수심별로 포획된 부유물질에 의한 선형 회귀식의 기울기는 포획 고도가 증가함(즉, 입도가 감소함)에 따라서 점진적으로 증가하였다. 이러한 결과는 해저 퇴적물에 대한 탁도계 검교정 결과로부터 부유물질 농도를 환산할 경우 과대추정의 오차가 발생되며, 본 연구해역의 경우에는 그 오차가 최대 25%까지 증가할 수 있다는 것을 보여준다. 따라서 해저 퇴적물보다는 수층에서 포획된 부유물질의 입도분포를 고려하여 보정된 검교정식을 적용하는 것이 부유물질 농도의 측정오차를 최소화하는 방법으로 사료된다.

  • This paper presents an enhanced method of slit beam projection intended for the rapid measurement of 3-dimensional surface profiles of dies and molds. Special emphasis is given to optimizing the design of optical system so that the measuring accuracy can be maximized by adopting two-plane camera calibration together with sub-pixel image processing techniques. Finally, several measurement examples are discussed to demonstrate that an actual measuring accuracy of $\pm$ 0.2 mm can be achieved over the measuring range of 500 mm{\times}300mm{\times}200mm$.

휴대용 혈중pH 측정시스템의 구현 (Development of Portable System for Measuring pH in Blood)

  • We developed the portable blood analysis system, which can be measured pH of the blood. This system is composed to electronic circuit, mechanism, and system software. Electronic circuit is composed to the sensor, pre-amp part, temperature regulation part, fluid sensing part, A/D(analog to digital) conversion part, main and peripheral device processing part. And the mechanism is composed to the flow cell and the liquid flow part. The liquid flow part is consisted of blood and washing control system under the control of the 6-channel solenoid valve and syringe rump. The system software is composed to measurement program, calibration program, washing and diagnostic program. The program of each routine is designed as sequential process for an efficiency. And the portable pH analysis system used two-point calibration method using the two types of corrective liquid. As a result, we obtained the calibration curve and calculated the value of pH. For verifying the system, we confirmed the output voltage of the sensor, and estimated reappearance of system using the standard liquid.

Pollutant Loading Estimates from Watershed by Rating Curve Method and SWMM

  • Rating curve method and SWMM (Storm Water Management Model) were applied to estimate pollutant loading from Hwa-Ong watershed in Kyunggi-Do. Rating curves were derived from sampling sites and applied to the whole watershed. SWMM version 4.4 was calibrated by field data of sampling sites and applied to the whole watershed. The pollutant loading estimated by rating curve was slightly higher than the one by SWMM, but the difference was not significant considering diffuse pollution characteristics of wide variation. Land use effect of the subcatchments could not be incorporated logically in rating curve method and difficulty in extrapolation was experienced, therefore, the estimate by rating curve method was thought to be less confident. SWMM was satisfactory in estimation of pollution loading, and its great flexibility worked well to describe complex nonurban land uses. Neither of them could exactly describe complex natural phenomena, but SWMM was preferred in this study due to its flexibility and logical hydrologic processes including land use effects. Use of reasonable watershed model rather than rating curve method for watershed pollutant loading estimate can be more practical and is recommended.

InSb 자속계의 제작과 그 특성에 관한 연구 (Fabrication and Characteristic of an InSb Mognetic Flvxmeter)

  • Hall효과의 이용으로, 자계의 세기 또는 자속을 계측할 수 있는 자속계의 제조 및 특성조사를 시도하였다. Hall계수가 큰 InSb의 단결품을 Bridgemann법에 의하여 제작하고, 자장내에서 자계의 세기와 기전력 또는 전류를 계측한 결과, 만족할만한 감도와 직선적인 특성곡선을 얻었으며, 유사한 연구결과와 비교할때, 좋은 결과임을 알게 되었다. An Insb magnetic fluxmeter was made of InSb Single Crystal that was grown by Bridgemannmethods and then purified by vapor cone refining method. We investigated some properties of the InSb magneto fluxmeter. It was found that the resistivity and the Hall Coefficient of this single Crystal Were 4.4X10-2Ω and 4.5cm3/Coul, respectively, at room temperature. The Characteristic Curve of the InSb magnetic fluxmeter between the magnetic field the Hall voltage, with the Current flowing through the element a Parameter, had good lineanty i.e., We obtained a linear Calibration Curve of the flwmeter. The fluxmeter erved the purpose well enough up to 5 k-gaus.

단일영역 오차보간 모델을 이용한 5-Hole Pressure Probe의 교정 (Calibration of a Five-Hole Pressure Probe using a Single Sector Error Interpolation Model)

  • 기존의 전통적인 회귀분석 기반 교정방법에 비해 높은 교정정밀도를 얻을 수 있는 5-hole pressure probe의 교정방안을 연구하였다. 이 새로운 교정기법은 교정시험으로부터 획득한 데이터와 곡선적합 결과간의 차이를 이용하여 산정한 단일 영역에 대한 오차보간 반응곡면을 사용한다. 끝단의 직경이 4.0 mm인 5-hole probe를 자체 제작하고, 레이놀즈수$4.11{\times}10^6$/m와 흐름각 ${\pm}48$에서 교정시험을 수행하였다. 최소자승 회귀분석모델과 단일영역 오차보간 모델을 적용하여 자료처리를 수행하고 이들 두 교정방안에 대한 비교평가와 분석을 수행하였으며, 아울러 교정 정밀도에 대한 평가도 수행하였다.
