현재 코로나로 인한 각 나라의 입국 제한이 사라지면서 국내외 여행 예약률 증가에 따라 그만큼 비행기 예약도 늘어나고 있다. 그런데 객실 승무원의 근무 환경은 매우 열악하기 때문에 육체적, 정신적 피로를 누적되게 한다. 이는 승객에게 양질의 서비스를 제공할 수 없게 하고 안전사고를 대처하는 데 있어 문제가 된다. 본 논문은 객실 승무원이 스마트폰 앱을 이용하여 편리하게 객실 상황을 확인하고, 원격 제어하며 서빙카트를 조작하여 승객의 주문에 대한 서비스를 제공하는 '원격제어가 가능한 비행기 객실 관리 시스템'을 제안한다. 이 시스템을 이용함으로써 객실 승무원은 객실 상황을 판단하여 즉각적인 대처를 할 수 있고, 항공기 효율적 운용을 위한 안전성과 정시성을 확보하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.

This study examines the color image of uniform of airline cabin crew according to the demographic characteristics of the customer and demonstrates how it affects the cognitive image of airlines. Adjective adjectives were derived for uniform color images of all eight airlines in Korea and analyzed the image of airline brand color. Based on the analysis of color images, the difference in perception according to the demographic characteristics of passengers was analyzed. When the colors of airline uniforms are mainly blue, sky blue, white and ivory, they have a lot of trust, neat and elegant images. Uniforms with primary colors such as red, orange and green beans are found to have a lot of cheerful, developmental and enterprising images. In addition, the empirical analysis of the impact of the customer's cognitive perception and favoritism on the uniform color image of the airline crew showed that the more positive the airline's positive perception of the uniform color image, the more positive the cognitive image is. In other words, the empirical analysis revealed that the airline's uniform color image, its cognitive image of the airline, and its popularity have significant positive relationships.

Purpose - This study focuses on the quality of nonverbal communication by the flight attendants at the airline, and the factors that contribute to improve customer behavior, thereby providing positive implications for corporate management. Research, design, data, and methodology - For the empirical analysis of this study, reliability analysis and frequency analysis were conducted. T-test and ANOVA analyses were performed. In addition, the effects of nonverbal communication have on customer behavior have regressed analysis. The collected data was empirical suing the SPSS Win 18.0. Results - Among the non-verbal communication qualities were found to significantly influence customer attitudes, and demographic differences in airline flight attendants were also shown to influence their perceptions. Empirical analysis revealed significant differences in demographic characteristics between gender, age and airlines used. Conclusions - All of the non-verbal communication's attributes were found to significantly impact customer attitude. It is used to train the importance of nonverbal communication quality for the role of cabin crew members and to enhance the loyalty of the customers to Airline. This study identifies the relationship between the impact of non-verbal communication quality on customer attitudes and implies the importance of non-verbal communication quality for airline flight attendants. Also, this study suggests that there is a close mechanism between the nonverbal communication and the customer attitudes to airlines.

Air travel demand has recently been growing and establishment and operation of low-cost carriers have been increased. Against this backdrop, low-cost carriers need to figure out diversified customer demand for low-cost carriers and ways to maximize marketing efficiency before applying it to the field so that they can attain superiority to large carriers in increased intensified competition. Low-cost carriers need to be differentiated from other carriers for the purpose of improving profits. Toward this end, this study conducted analysis on importance and satisfaction with carrier choice using IPA with regard to low-cost carrier customers. In conclusion, the paper accurately examined advantages and disadvantages of low-cost carriers compared to general carriers based on results of IPA analysis and suggested managerial strategies to enhance competitiveness based on division into four parts including maintenance and enforcement (1st quadrant, Delay compensation, Booking rapidity, Check rapidity, Crew service, refund service, baggage service, punctuality, transit services, airlines images), concentrated improvement (2nd quadrant, price, Convenience of seat), passive administration (3rd quadrant, Boarding service, cabin cleanliness, flight schedule, whether local crew on board, meal service, in-flight entertainment service), and enhanced satisfaction (4th quadrant, duty-free service, Variety of routes), so that practical suggestions could be presented to employees working in the field.

Purpose: The purpose of study is to understand the effect of Airline industry employee's workaholism on Work Family conflict and Satisfaction of Life. Methods: The research method of this paper is to analyze data which was collected from 328 female cabin crew at airline located in Jeju Air. Results: The results of this study are summarized be summarized as follows: First, Work Obsession as the subordinate variables of workaholism positively affect Work Family conflict, but Work Enjoyment and Commitment of Work negatively affect work family conflict. Second, The results showed that had the higher level of Work to Family conflict than that of Family to Work conflict. Both directions had a negative impact on life satisfaction. Conclusion: Work Enjoyment and Work Commitment of variable workaholic had the higher level of Work to Family conflict than that of Family to Work conflict. So, it is important to make efforts to promote Work Enjoyment and Work Commitment of workaholic with resolving Work Family conflict in married managerial women by families and corporations.

There has been a rapid increase of the concern on the space radiation effect on pilots, crew and passengers at the commercial aircraft altitude (~ 10 km) recently. It is because domestic airline companies, Korean Air and Asiana Airlines have just begun operating the polar routes over the North Pole since 2006 and 2009 respectively. CARI-6 and CARI-6M are commonly used space radiation estimation programs which are provided officially by the U.S. federal aviation administration (FAA). In this paper, the route doses and the annual radiation doses for Korean pilots and cabin crew were estimated by using CARI-6M based on 2012 flight records. Also the modeling concept was developed for our own space radiation estimation program which is composed of GEANT4 and NRLMSIS00 models. The GEANT4 model is used to trace the incident particle transports in the atmosphere and the NRLMSIS00 model is used to get the background atmospheric densities of various neutral atoms at the aircraft altitude. Also presented are the results of simple integration tests of those models and the plan to include the space weather variations through the solar proton event (SPE) prediction model such as UMASEP and the galactic cosmic ray (GCR) prediction model such as Badhwar-O'Neill 2010.

국제항공운송에 종사하는 승무원은 업무의 성격상 여러 나라에서 근로를 제공하게 된다. 국제사법에 의하면 일상적 노무제공지는 국제근로계약의 준거법 결정(제28조 제2항), 국제재판관할의 결정(제28조 제3항, 제4항)에서 중요한 역할을 수행한다. 일상적 노무제공지는 국제재판관할과 준거법의 결정을 위하여 EU에서 제창된 개념으로, 국제항공법에서 항공안전을 확보할 목적으로 승무원의 피로관리를 위해 도입된 개념인 모기지(母基地)와 입법목적이 서로 달라, 일상적 노무제공지와 모기지는 같은 개념이라고 볼 수 없다. 승무원의 일상적 노무제공지를 결정하기 위해서는 (i) 승무원이 근무를 시작하고 종료하는 곳, (ii) 승무원이 업무를 수행하는 항공기가 주로 주기(駐機)된 곳, (iii) 사용자가 전달한 지시사항을 알게 되고 근무활동을 조직하는 곳, (iv) 근로계약상 승무원이 거주할 의무가 있는 곳, (v) 사용자가 제공하고 승무원이 사용할 수 있는 사무실이 있는 곳, (vi) 승무원이 업무에 부적합하거나 징계사유가 발생할 때 참석할 의무가 있는 곳 등을 종합적으로 고려하여야 한다. 그런데 위에서 열거한 사항은 모두 모기지 소재지와 동일하므로, 승무원의 일상적 노무제공지를 결정할 때 모기지를 가장 중요한 요소로 고려하는 것이 타당하다. 이와 달리 기적국을 일상적 노무제공지로 보아서는 안 된다. 대상사안에서 CJEU는 국제항공운송에 종사하는 객실승무원의 일상적 노무제공지에 관하여 최초로 판단기준을 제시하였는바, 이는 우리나라 국제사법의 모범이 되었던 브뤼셀 규정의 해석이므로, 국제항공운송 승무원에 관하여 국제사법상 일상적 노무제공지의 개념을 이해하는데 많은 도움이 될 것으로 보인다.

Reduction of a ship's rolling is the most important performance requirement for improving the safety of the crew on board and preventing damage to cargos as well as improving the comfort of the ride. A mass driving anti-rolling system (MD-ARS) might be one candidate of several systems against the ship's rolling. In this paper, a sea-trial test on a pendulum-type MD-ARS passively operated is carried out in Suyoung, Busan. After the system is installed on the cabin of the small leisure boat, a series of test is conducted before and after operating the system. Through the test, it is confirmed that the roll rate of the ship is pretty well reduced by the system.

The process of railway traffic planning is composed of several steps such as long-term, mid-term. short-term, and real-time plan. The planning of vehicle and manpower resources is a main research topic in tactical short-term planning step. Railway vehicle is usually consisted of a power car, passenger/freight cars and human resource is composed of engine driver, cabin crew, ground personnel. So far, power car was main research target in railway vehicle scheduling problem. Recently according as the light electric railway or high-speed railway is introduced, the operational planning of trainset vehicles become important, In this paper, we introduce the conceptional model for trainset restoring problem and developed heuristic algorithm.
