  • Suspension effect has been studied by using superconductor of BiPbSrCaCuO ceramics containing $Ag_2O$. It has been cleared that $Ag_2O$ acts as pinning center which plays an important role to the suspension effect. Magnetic repulsive force which affects a superconductor located in magnetic flux from toroidal magnet has been investigated. It has been concluded that the suspension effect arises from the interaction between the pinning effect and the diamagnetic effect.

  • $Sr(OH)_2$가 소량 첨가된 수산화칼슘 수용액에 $CO_2$ 가스를 흡수시켜 탄산화 반응을 행하였으며, 이 반응에서 반응온도와 $Sr(OH)_2$가 탄산화반응에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. 주상형의 aragonite는 반응온도가 높을수록, $Sr(OH)_2(aq)/Ca(OH)_2(aq)$의 비가 클수록, 즉 $OH^-/CO_2(aq)$의 비가 클수록, 잘 생성되었다. $Sr(OH)_2$는 탄산화반응 초기에 aragonite와 유사한 사방정형의 $SrCO_3$를 쉽게 형성하고, 물에 대한 용해도가 높기때문에 $OH^-$ 이온을 증가시켜 용액내에 결정성장에 유리한 $CO_3^{2-}$ 이온을 보다 쉽게 형성시키므로 주상형 aragonite 생성에 유리한 역할을 하였다.

[$Ca^{2+}-induced$ $Ca^{2+}$ Release from Sarcoplasmic Reticulum Negatively Regulates Myocytic ANP Release in Beating Rabbit Atria

  • It is not clear whether $Ca^{2+}-induced$ $Ca^{2+}$ release from the sarcoplasmic reticulum (SR) is involved in the regulation of atrial natriuretic peptide (ANP) release. Previously, we have shown that nifedipine increased ANP release, indicating that $Ca^{2+}$ entry via voltage-gated L-type $Ca^{2+}$ channel activation decreases ANP release. The purpose of the present study was two-fold: to define the role of SR $Ca^{2+}$ release in the regulation of ANP release and whether $Ca^{2+}$ entry via L-type $Ca^{2+}$ channel is prerequisite for the SR-related effect on ANP release. Experiments were performed in perfused beating rabbit atria. Ryanodine, an inhibitor of SR $Ca^{2+}$ release, increased atrial myocytic ANP release ($8.69{\pm}3.05$, $19.55{\pm}1.09$, $27.31{\pm}3.51$, and $18.91{\pm}4.76$% for 1, 2, 3, and $6{\mu}M$ ryanodine, respectively; all P<0.01) with concomitant decrease in atrial stroke volume and pulse pressure in a dose-dependent manner. In the presence of thapsigargin, an inhibitor of SR $Ca^{2+}$ pump, ryanodine-induced increase in ANP release was not observed. Thapsigargin attenuated ryanodine-induced decrease in atrial dynamic changes. Blockade of L-type $Ca^{2+}$ channel with nifedipine abolished ryanodine-induced increase in ANP release ($0.69{\pm}5.58$% vs. $27.31{\pm}3.51$%; P<0.001). In the presence of thapsigargin and ryanodine, nifedipine increased ANP release and decreased atrial dynamics. These data suggest that $Ca^{2+}$-induced $Ca^{2+}$ release from the SR is inversely involved in the regulation of atrial myocytic ANP release.

  • BiSrCaCuO superconducting thin films have been fabricated by co-deposition using IBS(Ion Beam Sputtering) method. Despite setting the composition of thin film Bi2212 or Bi2223, in both cased, Bi2201, Bi2212 and Bi2223 phase were appeared. It was confirmed the obtained field of stabilizing phase was represented in the diagonal direction of the right below end in the Arrhenius plot of temperature of the substrate and $PO_3$ and it was distributed in the reeone.

  • Samples with the nominal composition, Ag-$Bi_{1.84}Pb_{0.34}Sr_{1.91}Ca_{2.03}Cu_{3.06}O_{10+{\delta}}$ high $T_{c}$ superconductors containing Ag as an additive were fabricated by a solid-state reaction method. Samples with Ag of 10 wt%, 30 wt%, and 50 wt% each were sintered at $860^{\circ}C$~$870^{\circ}C$ for 24 hours. The structural characteristics, the microstructures and the critical temperature with respect to the each samples were investigated by XRD, four-prove methode, SEM and EDS respectively. The $T_{c}\;^{zero}$ of the sample with the 50 wt% Ag additive at the surface showed 94 K.

  • We have prepared superconducting Bi-Pb-Sr-Ca.Cu-O thin films by RF magnetron sputtering technique, on heated MgO(100) substrates. Sputtering was carried out in a mixture of argon and oxygen(10%) and the pressure was maintained at 5 mTorr during deposition. The substrate temperature was maintained $400^{\circ}C$ during deposition. The films sputtered were amorphous and insulating. All the films became superconducting by annealing, The films annealed at $880^{\circ}C$ for 30 minutes in air showed high-Tc phase with zero resistivity of 93K. These results indicate that the growth of the high-Tc phase is promoted by the presence of Pb at annealing temperature.

  • Bi$_2$Sr$_2$Ca$_{n-1}$Cu$_{n}$O$_{x}$ superconducting thin films have been fabricated by atomic layer-by-layer deposition using IBS(Ion Beam Sputtering) method. During the deposition, 90 mol% ozone gas of typical pressure of 1~9 $\times$ 10$^{-5}$ Torr are supplied with ultraviolet light irradiation for oxidation. XRD and RHEED investigations reveal out that a buffer layer with some different compositions is formed at the early deposition stage of less than 10 units cell and then Bi-2201 oriented along the c-axis is grown.grown.

  • 제일원리 DFT+DMFT방법을 사용하여 철계열 고온초전도체 122 화합물 $AFe_2As_2$ (A=Ca, Sr, Ba) 에 대한 전자 및 자성 구조를 계산하였다. 계산된 전자구조는 실험에서 보고된 ARPES 결과와 어느 정도 일치함을 확인했다. 또한 계산을 통해 얻은 반자성 전이온도는 실험과 동일한 경향을 보여준다.

  • High Tc superconducting with a BiSrCaCuO was prepared by the titrate method. The solid precursor produced by the dehydration of the gel at $120^{\circ}C$ for 12 h is not in the amorphous state as expected but in a crystalline state. X-tay diffraction peaks of nearly the same angular position as the peaks of high Tc phase were observed in the precursor.
