Appropriate vibration model is required to predict in advance the vibration level of a large vehicle which carries sensitive electronic/mechanical equipments and drives often on the unpaved and/or off-road conditions. Central tire inflation system(CTIS) is recently adopted to improve the mobile operation of military and bulletproof vehicles. In this paper, full vehicle model(FVM) having 11 degrees of freedom and equipped with CTIS has been developed for a large vehicle which has $8\times8$ wheels$\times$driving wheels. Usability of the developed model is validated via road tests for three different modes (i.e. highway, country, and mud/sand/snow modes) and for various velocity conditions. The developed FVM can be used to predict the vibration level of the large vehicle as well as to determine the driving velocity criterion for different road conditions.

With the exponential growth of medical image big data represented by high-resolution CT images(CTI), the high-resolution CTI data is of great importance for clinical research and diagnosis. The paper takes lung CTI as an example to study. Retrieving answer CTIs similar to the input one from the large-scale lung CTI database can effectively assist physicians to diagnose. Compared with the conventional content-based image retrieval(CBIR) methods, the CBIR for lung CTIs demands higher retrieval accuracy in both the contour shape and the internal details of the organ. In traditional supervised deep learning networks, the learning of the network relies on the labeling of CTIs which is a very time-consuming task. To address this issue, the paper proposes a Weakly Supervised Similarity Evaluation Network (WSSENet) for efficiently support similarity analysis of lung CTIs. We conducted extensive experiments to verify the effectiveness of the WSSENet based on which the CBIR is performed.

Tongue diagnosis is convenient and non-invasive method to examine the body's functional condition, and it has been frequently used in traditional Korean Medicine (KM). The aim of this study was to investigate the difference of the tongue color assessed by computerized tongue image analysis system (CTIS) between the common cold (CC) patients and healthy subjects. A total of 85 participants, including 45 CC patients without organic diseases and 40 healthy subjects, were asked to complete the CC symptom questionnaire. A tongue image was acquired by using CTIS. Color differences in Commission Internationale de l'Eclairage (CIE) L*, a* and b* between the CC patient group and the control group were analyzes by using paired t-test analysis. The variable CIE b* of the tongue body was significantly lower in CC than that in controls (P=0.019). The variable CIE L* of the tongue coating was significantly higher in CC than that in controls (P=0.032). In CC, the color of the tongue body seems to be changed to intense red color. The color of the tongue coating seems to be changed to thick fur. The present study demonstrated that the CTIS can be used as a diagnostic and monitoring tool for the objective and standardized evaluation of common cold in clinics.

Tester Interface Software (TIS) provides all software functions that are necessary for a testing device to perform the test process on a memory semiconductor package from the time the device is put into the test equipment until the device is discharged from the equipment. TIS should perform the same work over all types of equipment regardless of their tester models. However, TIS has been developed and managed independently of the tester models because there are various equipment and computer models that are used in the test process. Therefore, more maintenance, time and cost are required for development, which adversely affects the quality of the software, and the problem becomes more serious when the new tester model is introduced. In this paper, we propose the Cross-platform Tester Interface Software (CTIS) framework, which can be integrated and operated on heterogeneous equipment and OSs.

Objectives: The aim of this study was to analyze the correlation between patterns determined by pattern identification of functional dyspepsia (FD) and tongue features, including tongue coating and tooth marks, in FD patients. Methods: We reviewed the clinical records of 68 FD patients who visited the Department of Digestive Diseases of Kyung Hee University Korean Medicine Hospital from September 1, 2020 to August 31, 2021. The subjects were evaluated with a computerized tongue image acquisition system (CTIS) and by pattern identification of FD. Measurement included the percentage of tongue coating, tooth mark levels, and pattern scores. Results: Statistically significant negative correlations were noted between the scores of the pattern of 'spleen and stomach deficiency and cold' (SSDC) and the percentage of tongue coating in whole, center, and root of the tongue body. However, no other patterns were correlated with any parameter measured by CTIS. No significant difference was noted in the percentage of tongue coating and the tooth mark level between the patterns. Conclusions: This study demonstrated that the pattern of SSDC was significantly associated with the percentage of tongue coating. We suggest that the percentage of tongue coating could be a useful indicator for identifying the degree of patterning of SSDC in patients with FD.
It is well known that after finding the displacement in the structural mechanics, strain and stress can be obtained in the straight-forward process. The main purpose of this paper is to unify the displacement functions for solving the solid body. By performing mathematical operations, three sets of these key relationships are found in this paper. All of them are written in the Cartesian Coordinates and in terms of a simple function. Both analytical and numerical approaches are utilized to validate the correctness of the presented formulations. Since all required conditions for the bodies with self-equilibrated loadings are satisfied accurately, the authors' relations can solve these kinds of problems. This fact is studied in-depth by solving some numerical examples. It is found that a very simple function can be used for each formulation instead of ten different and complex displacement potentials defined by previous studies.
Objectives From observing the tongue of a patient, one can assess the health status; this method has been frequently used in traditional Korean Medicine (KM) clinics. In particular, KM posits that the color of the tongue is highly related to digestive functions. In this study, the color of tongue and heart rate variability (HRV) were compared between chronic dyspepsia (CD) patients and healthy subjects. Methods Healthy subjects and CD patients with functional dyspepsia (FD), gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), or chronic gastritis (CG) were enrolled for the study. Profile view images of the tongue were acquired by using a computerized tongue image acquisition system (CTIS). The color of the tongue body was extracted from the non-coated region on the tongue images. Results Color differences in CIE L*a*b* color space between the three sub-types of CD patients and healthy subjects were analyzed by using multiple linear regression analysis with age and sex as the factors. The variable b* was significantly lower in GERD patients than in the controls (p=0.017). Variable a* was significantly lower in CG than in the controls (p=0.03). No significant difference was seen between FD and controls. In GERD, the tongue body seems to be intense red in color; in CG, pale red. Frequency domain analysis showed that HF was significantly lower in GERD patients than in the controls (p=0.041). Conclusions The color of the tongue body and HF of HRV can be used for diagnosing digestive functions in health care.

Objectives: In this study, the tongue features of patients with functional dyspepsia (FD) were compared with those of healthy controls. Methods: This prospective, case-control study was conducted on patients with FD and controls recruited at a single center. After screening, the subjects were allocated to the patient or control groups (patients=42, controls=40). Tongue images were acquired using a computerized tongue image acquisition system (CTIS). An independent t-test was conducted to compare the measurements from patients and controls. Binary logistic regression was performed to determine significant differences between the two groups after adjusting for age and sex. Results: The CIE $a^*$ color value in the tongue coating area was significantly lower in the patients with FD than in the controls (p=0.001). The tongue coating ratios were also significantly higher in the FD group than in the control group (p=0.003). We found that the CIE $a^*$ color value in the tongue coating area and the tongue coating ratios were significant predictive factors in both groups, based on binary regression analysis (p=0.016, 0.044, respectively). Conclusions: This study found that FD was significantly associated with CIE $a^*$ color value in the tongue coating area and tongue coating ratios. We suggest that these factors could be used as objective indicators of FD.
The number of digital content used in mobile devices such as smartphones or tablet PCs has been rapidly increasing along with the development of IT industry. At the same time, studies on digital content management are actively conducted. One of the previous studies defined CTI(Content Tracking Information) for efficient management of the information on digital content usage between mobile devices in an area in which the internet is inaccessible, and suggested ways to deal with CTI management, reduction of the overhead and a technique of collecting as many CTIs as possible within a short time. This paper presents the design and implementation of a simulator capable of verifying the logic and the performance of the CTI management method. This tool simulates a mobile environment where devices move around in the internet inaccessible area and propagates digital contents each other. It shows several advantages including the efficient synchronization of CTI management and overhead reduction.
The centralized traffic information system is to gather and analyze real-time traffic information, to receive traffic information request from user, and to send user processed traffic information such as a path finding. Position information, result of destination search, and other information. In the centralized traffic information system, a server received path-finding requests from many clients and must process clients requests in time. The algorithm of multiple path-finding is needed for a server to process clients request, effectively in time. For this reason, this paper presents a heuristic algorithm that decreases time to compute path-finding requests. This heuristic algorithm uses results of the neighbor nodes shortest path-finding that are computed periodically. Path-finding results of this multiple path finding algorithm to use results of neighbor nodes shortest path-finding are the same as a real optimal path in many cases, and are a little different from results of a real optimal path in non-optimal path. This algorithm is efficiently applied to the general topology and the hierarchical topology such as traffic network. The computation time of a path-finding request that uses results of a neighbor nodes shortest path-finding is 50 times faster than other algorithms such as one-to-one label-setting and label-correcting algorithms. Especially in non-optimal path, the average error rate is under 0.1 percent.
