미국 라스베이거스에서 나흘 일정을 마치고 지난달 9일 폐막된‘2005 세계가전쇼(CES)’는 올 한해 디지털가전의 흐름을 미리 볼 수 있는 자리였다. 전세계 110여개국 2,400여개 업체가 참가한 이번 쇼는 참관객 수만 13만여명이 넘는 등 역대 최대 규모를 자랑했다. 지난해 CES의 주제가‘디지털 컨버전스(융 · 복합)’의 시작이었다면 이번 쇼에서는 한층 업그레이드된 기능과 크기, 용량을 지닌 첨단 컨버전스 제품들이 대거 출품됐다. 특히 초대형 · 고화질 디스플레이 제품들과 각종 기능이 복합된 휴대전화 제품들이 관람객들의 시선을 모았으며, 한국 업체들의 위상 강화도 이번 쇼의 특징이었다.

CES(Community Energy System)란 구역형의 소규모 지역냉난방시스템으로 세계에서 일본이 가장 발달된바, 일본의 도입 실태분석이 향후 국내 CES 도입에 중요한 자료가 될 것으로 판단되므로 일본에서의 소규모 지역냉난방시스템 도입사례에 대한 조사분석한 내용을 소개하고자 한다. 일본에서의 지역열공급사업의 개념은 1개소 또는 수개소의 열공급플랜트로부터 복수의 건물에 지역배관을 통하여 냉수ㆍ증기ㆍ온수 등을 보내어 냉난방ㆍ급탕을 행하는 것이다.(중략)

분산 전원의 기저 전원으로써 개발된 일체형 원자로(REX-10)를 지역에너지시스템에 도입하고 안정적인 운전을 하기 위해서 본 논문은 전압원형 인버터를 설계하고 일체형 원자로가 변동 없이 정출력을 하도록 지역에너지시스템의 전력 변동 상황을 모니터링하여 제어하는 모델을 개발하였다. 제안된 모델의 효용성을 확인하기 위해서 PSCAD/EMTDC를 사용하였다.

This paper deals with finite element analysis of 2GVA superconducting generator which has slitted electrothermal shield in d-axis (SES). Three phase fault is considered torque of the S.C.G. Using the result, generator parameters are calculated by F.E.M. The results are compared with superconducting generator having conventional electrothermal shield (CES). The result shows that quick response excitation could be applied to superconducting generator with slitted electrothermal shield.

In this paper, we characterize the boundedness and compactness of the extended $Ces{\grave{a}}ro$ operators from general function spaces F(p, q, s) to Bloch-type spaces ${\mathcal{B}}_{\mu}$ where $\mu$ is normal function on [0,1).

In 1975, Wenger [4] determined the fine spectra of $Ces{\grave{a}}ro$ operator $C_1$ on c, the space of convergent sequences. In [7], the spectrum of the Rhaly operators on $c_0$ and c, under the assumption that ${lim}\limits_{n{\rightarrow}{\infty}}(n+1)a_n\;=\;L\;{\neq}\;0$, has been determined. In this paper the author determine the fine spectra of the Rhaly matrix $R_a$ as an operator on the space c, with the same assumption.

We discuss main techniques to improve legibility of electroluminescent displays. Emphasis is placed on use of destructive optical interference to cancel ambient light reflected from the back electrode of the device. Basic optical principles and material composition of the optical interference contrast-enhancing stack (CES) are presented. We also describe the improved human factors of electroluminescent devices assisted with a CES. Achromatic contrast is the most important contributor to display's legibility. In some conditions color contrast may also be important. Contributing to both luminance and color contrast enhancement, the contrast-enhancing stack may play an important role in various display applications.
