Fixed Point Theorems for Multivalued Mappings in Banach Spaces

  • Let K be a nonempty weakly compact convex subset of a Banach space X and T : K ${\rightarrow}$ C(X) a nonexpansive mapping satisfying $P_T(x){\cap}clI_K(x){\neq}{\emptyset}$. We first show that if I - T is semiconvex type then T has a fixed point. Also we obtain the same result without the condition that I - T is semiconvex type in a Banach space satisfying Opial's condition. Lastly we extend the result of [5] to the case, that T is an 1-set contraction mapping.

말뚝 결합 블록식 안벽의 수평변위 억제에 대한 수치해석 연구 (Numerical Analysis of Block Type Quay Wall with Piles for Restraining Horizontal Deformation)

  • 말뚝이 결합된 블록식 안벽의 말뚝 근입깊이의 영향에 따른 거동파악을 하기 위해 잔류수위차 크기와 상치 콘크리트 유무 조건에 대하여 2차원 수치해석을 실시하였다. 수치해석 결과, 말뚝의 근입에 따라 안벽의 수평변위의 억제 효과가 나타나는 것을 확인하였으며, 말뚝이 사석층까지 근입된 경우에서 수평변위 억제 효과가 가장 크게 나타났다. 말뚝이 근입되지 않은 조건에서는 잔류수위차가 증가함에 따라 안벽의 수평변위도 비례적으로 증가하는 것으로 나타났다. 하지만 말뚝이 지반에 근입된 경우 잔류수위차가 증가하더라도 안벽의 수평변위에 대한 제어가 크게 발휘되었다. 상치콘크리트 유·무에 따른 블록식 안벽의 수평변위는 차이가 거의 없는 것으로 나타났다. 말뚝의 근입깊이가 사석층까지 근입된 경우 조건에서는 말뚝이 짧은 말뚝에서 보이는 회전 거동을 보이는 것으로 나타났다. 말뚝의 근입깊이가 더 깊어짐에 따라 중간 말뚝의 거동과 같은 휨거동 양상을 보이는 것으로 해석되어 말뚝이 결합된 블록식 안벽에서 말뚝이 수평변위 억제에 크게 기여하는 것을 알 수 있다.

  • In this paper, we have first presented the construction of the linear characters of a finite Coxeter group $G_n$ of type $B_n$ by lifting all linear characters of the quotient group $G_n/[G_n,G_n]$ of the commutator subgroup $[G_n,G_n]$. Also we show that the sets of distinguished coset representatives $D_A$ and $D_{A^{\prime}}$ for any two signed compositions A, A' of n which are $G_n$-conjugate to each other and for each conjugate class ${\mathcal{C}}_{\lambda}$ of $G_n$, where ${\lambda}{\in}\mathcal{BP}(n)$, the equality ${\mid}{\mathcal{C}}_{\lambda}{\cap}D_A{\mid}={\mid}{\mathcal{C}}_{\lambda}{\cap}D_{A^{\prime}}{\mid}$ holds. Finally, we have given the general structure of units of Mantaci-Reutenauer algebra.

인구통계적 특성에 따른 자외선차단모자의 요구성능과 선호도 (Demand Performance and Preference of UV Protective Hat with Demographic Characteristics)

  • The purpose of this study were to investigate a preference and demand performance of UV protective hat for outdoor sports activities. Data collected from 259 adults from survey were analyzed by frequence analysis, crosstabs, t-test, and ANOVA using SPSS 17.0. The results are as follows. A demand performanc of UV protective hats were a demand performance for designs, colors, fabrics, lightness, UV protection, and easy care. It showed that the respondents worn the hats for skin health and didn't wear for sun block. The demand performance of UV protective hat showed difference according to gender and age. The favorite type of UV protective hat was cap, and there was no difference between young and old age. Male preferred the cap styles, while female preferred the wide brim styles for UV protection. The preferred fiber contents of the respondents were cotton and functional fiber.

대칭형 교각 코핑부 보의 비틀림 및 휨 거동 특성 (Torsional and Flexural Behavior Characteristics of Symmetric Pier Copping Beam)

  • The main aim of this study was to evaluate the bending and torsional behaviors of representative regular type cap beams in elevated guideway structures. A1/2 scale model copping beam, excluding the column portion, was designed, constructed, and tested. The copping beam was subjected to horizontal monotonic and cyclic loads with a constant vertical load over the loading stage. The damage was very much dominated by torsion. Experiment results showed that the spiral confinement in the beam helped to restrain the opening of torsional cracks in the column zone. Hence, the torsional strength of the cap beam contributesgreatly to the confinement conditions of the column.

수치모의를 통한 원자력 발전소 심층 취·배수 구조물 유·출입구 주변에서의 수리학적 흐름특성 고찰 (Investigation of Hydraulic Flow Properties around the Mouths of Deep Intake and Discharge Structures at Nuclear Power Plant by Numerical Model)

  • 증기를 발생시켜 터빈(turbine)을 회전시키는 화력 및 원자력 발전 계통에서 냉각시설은 필수적인 구조물이며, 냉각수 순환 계통은 일반적으로 해수를 취수하여 발전소 내의 복수기까지 유입시켜 증기와 열 교환 후 다시 외해로 배출시키는 형태를 취하고 있다. 최근 냉각수 취 배수 방식을 표층 취 배수 방식이 아닌 심층 취 배수 방식으로 변경하고 있는데, 기존 원전의 재순환 온도에 대한 영향을 최소화 하고, 온배수 방류시 밀도차로 인한 부력으로 온배수 혼합효과를 높여 온배수에 의한 환경피해 범위를 최소화하기 위해서이다. 특히, 하절기에 저층의 저온 냉각수를 취수할 수 있다는 이점 때문에 향후 계획되는 발전소들도 심층 취 배수 방식을 도입할 것으로 예상된다. 본 연구에서는 원자력 발전소의 냉각시설 중 심층 취 배수 구조물의 입구 주변을 3차원 전산유체역학 코드인 $FLOW-3D^{(R)}$로 모사하여 그 흐름특성을 분석하였다. 취수구(intake)의 경우 연직취수 조건에서 유속 덮개(Velocity cap), 배수구(diffuser)의 경우 방류수의 분사방향에 변화를 주어 모의하였으며, 그 결과 취수구의 경우 유속덮개에 의한 연직 유속성분의 현저한 감소로 인한 어류 유입영향을 최소화할 수 있을 것으로 판단되며, 배수구 희석효과는 Jirka 및 Harleman이 제시한 2차원 온배수 프룸(frume)과 잘 일치 하는 것으로 나타났다.

영지버섯 고미성 균주 선발에 관한 연구 (Selection of Highly Bitter taste Strains on Ganoderma sp.)

  • 고미도가 높은 영지버섯 균주를 선발하기 위하여 농업기술연구소 균이과에 보존 중인 11개 균주의 특성을 조사하여 본 결과는 다음과 같다. 고미도는 편각지 중에서 ASI 7071, 7091 균주, 분지형에서는 ASI 7074, 7094 균주가 높았다. 균사생장은 GCM 배지에서는 ASI 7091, 참나무톱밥 배지에서는 ASI 7010, 7048, 7075 균주가 양호하였다. 자실체의 개체중은 ASI 7004가 가장 무겁고 ASI 7075 균주가 가벼웠으며, 자실체 두께는 ASI 7071, 크기는 ASI 7094 균주가 양호하였다. 그리고 전기영동에 의한 동위효소 밴드의 양상은 esterase에서 분지형은 거의 비슷하였으나 편각지는 여러 형태로 나타났으며, leucine aminopeptidase에서는 편각지만 밴드를 나타내었다.

노년기 여성의 상지동작별 형태변화에 관한 연구 -석고법에 의한 피복인공공학적 접근- (A Study on the Sleeve Form Variation According to Arm Movements for Elderly Women - Approach to Clothing Ergonomics by Plaster Gypsum Experiments -)

  • The purpose of this study was to investigate on the sleeve form variation according to arm movements for elderly women. This study was experimented using the Plaster gypsum. The subjects who were elderly women were divided into three groups according to Rorher Index. Arm movements were five type ($0^{\circ},\;45^{\circ},\;90^{\circ},\;135^{\circ},\;180^{\circ}$) to each the vertical motion in front and in side. The statistical analyses used in this study were Mean, Standard Deviation, Spearman's correlation coefficients, paired T-test, Kruskal-wallis one-way ANOVA and Duncan's multiple range test. The results were as follows: 1) Increasing the movements, the width of the sleeve increased and the height of the sleeve cap decreased but girth of the sleeve cap was not consistant. 2) When varied the rates of the three aspects of the sleeve, the height of the sleeve cap showed the largest variation rate. 3) There was a negative correlation between the height and the width of the sleeve. On the other hand, there was a positive correlation between the sleeve width and the sleeve girth. 4) There were the vertical motion differences between in front and in side on the three aspects of sleeve. 5) The sleeve width and the sleeve girth were different according to somatotypes but the height of the sleeve cap was not different. 6) According to the variation rates of the body surfaces in length of standard lines, the form of sleeve was changed more in the front than in the back. Maximum variation rate showed in the areas of $D_1-D_3,\;E_1-E_3$ in the horizontal lines and $A-E_2$ in vertical lines. 7) According to the comparative drawing of the heights of sleeve cap and sleeve girth, the sleeve basic pattern $S_1(A.H/4)$ was more suitable for the direction $0^{\circ}\;and\;45^{\circ}$. And the basic pattern S_6(A.H/5)$ was more suitable for the direction $90^{\circ}$, the pattern $S_7(A.H/6)$ suitable for the direction $135^{\circ}$, and the pattern $S_8(A.H/8)$ was more suitable for the direction $180^{\circ}$.

선저파공이 침수속도에 미치는 영향 (The Sinkage Speed by Ship's under Water Damage)

  • Every ship might be exposed to collision, grounding and/or various accidents. They may make some underwater holes on the hull. An underwater damage would cause her loss of buoyancy, trim, and inclination. Although a ship has some provisions against these accidents, if the circumstance is serious, she would be sunk or upsetted. Because of varieties of type of accidents, one could not prepare all of them. Many subdivision could prevent them, but it is difficult to realize it due to rising costs. This paper deals with physical phenomena of sinkage and an application on box type ship, and some results are earned as follows; 1. sinkage speed up to the level of the damage hole is increased proportionally, and is decreased proportionally after filling the level. 2. the curve of draft shows cup type of second order polynomial up to the damage hole level, and shows cap type of second order polynomial after filling the level. 3. if damage occurs beneath half of the draft, changes of head and displacement, and sinking speed follow almost straight lines. 4. by careful observation, sinkage speed could be predicted.

풍한형 및 풍열형 감모에 대한 소청룡탕의 효과 - 이중맹검, 위약대조군연구 (Effect of Socheongryong-tang on Punghan and Pungyeol Type Common Cold : A Double Blind, Placebo Controlled Study)

  • Socheongryong-tang(SCRT) is widely used to treat the common cold. The purpose of this study was to evaluate the efficacy of SCRT on Punghan type(風寒型) and Pungyeol type(風熱型) common cold. 98 registered students with commom colds of recent onset were randomized to the double blind, placebo-controlled study. SCRT extract in capsule, $5.4g(1.8g{\times}3cap)$, orally dissolved 3 times a day. The severity of illness was assessed by the physician, using a 5-point scale on start and finish. In Pungyeol type common cold, no statistically significant differences were detected between the SCRT and placebo groups for any of the measured outcomes. In Punghan type common cold, SCRT significantly reduced rhinorrhea (p=0.034) and nasal stuffiness (p=0.048) compared with placebo. This study shows that SCRT is effective in treating cold symptoms in Punghan type common cold. If patients with cold are able to be administered SCRT according to common cold type, the benefit would be expected to increase.
