Development of PLC Communication Line Test Simulator (PLC 통신 선로 시험 시뮬레이터 개발)

  • In order to simplify the wiring of construction heavy equipment, researches on PLC(Power Line Communication)-CAN(Controller Area Network) communication module are actively proceeding. Even if a PLC-CAN communication module is developed, a simulator capable of judging whether the PLC-CAN communication module is operating normally is needed. In this paper, we designed and developed a simulator that can measure the status of PLC-CAN communication module. We analyzed the characteristics of the power line communication frequency band by analyzing the characteristics of the power line and compared the noise characteristics with the passenger car in order to characterize the heavy equipment noise.

  • Smart Device Communications using the development of anti-theft system for vehicles have been investigated. because Progress of Smart Device If someone get the Key for Vehicle theft, he can be easily stolen vehicle. We thought about the concept of dual security devices. Using vehicle's identifier ID of CAN, when Comparing Smat phone identifier ID value and identifier ID received from the Can in the Head, If the same ID is compared. At this point after the activity of the vehicle's ACC On/Off the system allows the vehicle's ignition.

  • The radio communications by SSB and VHF transceivers are still used very efficiently in coast stations and military base stations. The communication system by the conventional SSB and VHF transceivers between a coast station and a terminal is an one-to-one system. In this dissertation, however, the conventional one-to-one system is expanded to one-to-multiple systems. Then, frequencies can be used effectively for distress, urgency, safety traffic, and military communications. An ICS has been proposed and added, in this dissertation, to the conventional SSB and VHF communication systems, which can realize one-to- several terminal communications. The line switching system by the ICS is to be remote-controlled by ASK modulated PTT signals and audio signals. An ICS can change a connection between terminal and transceiver through a circuit switching system at any time. For this purpose, the author has researched and developed a ASK transmission system, ICS system, control algorithm, multiprocessor system, and moni-toring system. As a conclusion, the developed line switching control systems and equipments can be used effectively for maritime communication, military communication, fishery communication, etc.

  • This paper describes a development of the integrated controller system for car electrical signal control with CAN communication protocol. The CAN protocol is a robust serial bus system for the control of distributed module in the multiplexed network. After a brief of the main features of the CAN will be addressed, this paper presents the result of the development of the integrated hardware system overall control program.

  • BLDC 모터는 DC모터에 비하여 부피대 출력이 크고 고장이 거의 없기 때문에 로봇과 같은 다수의 모터가 사용되는 분야에 사용이 급증하고 있다. 또한 다수의 모터를 효율적으로 제어하기 위하여 통신 기능을 갖춘 모터 제어가 필수적으로 요구되어지고 있었다. 본 연구에서는 CAN20B 통신으로 제어가 가능하도록 모터제어기와 통신 인터페이스 제어보드를 구성하고 PC에서 USB포트를 이용하여 제어가능 하도록 통신 프로그램을 개발하여 전체적인 시스템을 구성하였다. BLDC모터 제어기는 TMS320F2801을 이용하여 최소의 크기로 고성능 제어기를 구성하였으며 전류 제어와 속도제어가 가능하도록 하였다. 통신 인터페이스는 CNA통신 기능이 내장된 마이크로프로세서를 이용하여 PC와 여러 대의 모터제어기 사이에 연결되어진다. PC프로그램은 모터드라이버의 모든 파라미터를 설정, 변경할 수 있으며 지령 값과 실제 값을 시각적으로 확인할 수 있도록 그래픽 화면을 제공하도록 하였다. 이러한 연구 결과는 휴머노이드 로봇, 서비스 로봇 등과 같이 소형의 모터제어기가 필요하고 최소의 배선으로 효율적인 제어가 필요한 분야에 적용될 수 있다.

OSEK OS Based Gateway for Interconnecting WAVE and CAN (WAVE와 CAN 연동을 위한 OSEK OS기반 게이트웨이)

  • Recently, various services are provided by using WAVE protocol for communication among neighboring vehicles. And in order to operate stable system, the gateway for interconnecting in and out vehicle networks is required. In this paper, we propose gateway interconnecting WAVE and CAN protocol. The proposed gateway based on OSEK OS consists of a communication layer, a message translator layer and a message management layer. In the communication layer, WAVE communication part and CAN communication part are designed to communicate with WAVE and CAN. And in the message management layer, message management layer functions to store the received messages and check errors with the message. Based on these functions, experiment was conducted to analyze performance of the gateway with two scenarios such as transmitting periodically BSM as a message structure for safety services in vehicle-to-vehicle communications and responding to road side equipments requiring in-vehicle information. As a result of test, we verify our gateway performance by analyzing measured time in test scenarios.

  • 이동로봇은 동작 특성상 다수의 하드웨어로 구성되기 때문에 분산제어 방식으로 동작하는 것이 필수적이므로 네트워크 기반의 인터페이스 설계가 중요하다. 다양한 네트워크 중 전장에서 산업현장에 이르기까지 여러 분야에 적용중인 CAN 버스 통신을 적용하여 이동로봇을 구성하는 각 하드웨어의 독립성과 장애물 판단, 모터 구동 등을 정확하게 제어함으로써 자율주행에 따른 이동로봇의 성능을 향상시키고 하드웨어 추가에도 대응이 가능하도록 설계하였다.

  • Controller Area Network was developed originally for in-vehicle communication network. But it is now widely used for factory automation because of its properties such as strong noise resistance and high reliabilities. With changing communication environments from peer to peer topology to bus topology, we should check each devices about not only mechanical operations but also electronic or software operations. In this paper, we suggest reliability test environment for CAN based system, which is divided two parts, data correctness and timely delivery.

  • 본 논문에서는 엘리베이터에서 발생할 수 있는 다양한 고장 요소들을 실시간으로 진단하고 일정시간 이상 운행이 정지된 경우 고장으로 판단하여 운행상태를 CAN 통신을 이용하여 원격으로 모니터링이 가능한 시스템을 설계하였다. 엘리베이터 내의 승객 탑승여부 확인, 현재 운행위치, 주요 고장내용을 실시간으로 진단하고 CAN 메시지를 이용 메인 컨트롤러에 송신하고 엔지니어는 서버기반의 어플리케이션을 통해 확인이 가능하도록 하였다. 또한 자동차, 선박 등 전장분야에 적용되고 있는 CAN 프로토콜을 이용하여 통신의 신뢰성을 확보하고 엘리베이터 관련 운행 및 고장 상태 등을 실시간을 파악할 수 있도록 하여 효율적인 엘리베이터 유지보수를 가능하도록 하였다. 설계된 시스템의 성능평가는 시뮬레이션 및 프로토콜 모니터링을 통해 수행하였다.

  • Heterogeneous field sensor network between sensor to sensor is designed the CAN method to bus type structure in most using at industry. This Network is supporting a distance vector routing protocol on a characteristic structural a bus type. Also This network support to convert as making separate routing table in heterogeneous network. However distance vector routing protocol make a problem of decrease efficiency because of restriction of network expandability and low transmission process. We propose new CAN routing protocol to support network expandability and high transmission process of industry network. New CAN routing protocol structure addition priority and optional function field based on RIPv2. We established heterogeneous field sensor network, we measure data Throughput(bits/sec) for confirm new CAN routing protocol to increase efficient in industry.
