A Study on the Utilization of BIM Model using Vertex Data-based Division Method (정점데이터기반 분할기법을 활용한 BIM모델의 활용 방안 연구)

  • The BIM (Building Information Modeling) model created in the design stage can be used for prior review and schedule management for the construction stage. However, in the case of actual BIM application cases, additional work is required, such as creating a new model suitable for the construction stage, rather than using the 3D model in the design stage, due to the difference in the purpose of use between the design stage and the construction stage. Therefore, in this study, a division function of BIM model is proposed as a method of recycling it in the construction stage without a remodeling process. In addition, the application to the actual BIM model and the 4D CAD system linkage of the divided object and the comparison with the existing division method are used to verify the usability.

  • 미래의 구조공학 자동화시스템은 Windows NT 운영체제의 저가의 데스크탑 컴퓨터에서 작동하며 객체지행적 CAD를 사용할 것이다. 모든 구조공학 관련 프로그램들은 객체지향 프로그램기법과 병렬처리기술로 재개발될 것이다. 구조공학 관련 소프트웨어프로그램의 통하븐 Microsoft사의 Objected Linking and Embedding(OLe)자동화 기술과 강력한 다중처리, 그리고 Windows NT의 다중연결 서버 기능에 의하여 이루어진다. 이 논문에서는 먼저 Windows NT의 다중연결 서버 기능에 의하여 이루어진다. 이 논문에서는 먼저 Windows NT 운영체제의 데스크탑 컴퓨터에서 구조공학 자동화시스템의 응용현황을 설명하고 미래의 구조공학 자동화 소프트웨어의 개발경향과 전략에 대해 논하게 될 것이다.

  • Because the construction is becoming bigger and the construction environment is rapidly changing, IT/IS(Information Technology and Information System) of the construction is recently suggested with the alternative proposal. So not only is a study progressed in the area of the BIM(Buidilng Information Modeling), VC(Virtual Construction) and CIC (Computer-Integrated Construction) but also of the information database of the construction for building the information infrastructure of the construction in the domestic construction. Because object-oriented 3D CAD improves the efficiency of a design work and includes the object information which can use with the base of the information database of the construction, it has the high value not only in the design level but also in the construction life cycle. But compared with the effect, the use of 3D CAD is sluggish in the construction. In this study, after surveying about lowly using 3D CAD on the point of AEC (Architect-Engineer-Contract), the result is analyzed with AHP(Analytic Hierarchy Process). So the aim of this study is to offer the base to find the solution of the Affecting factors about lowly using 3D CAD.

  • Recent advancement in ICT and IT infrastructure drives the construction industry towards a IT-based industry. Accordingly, the importance of the planning phase of a project is significantly highlighted due to recent large-scale national development projects such as U-city and multifunctional administration city. various development and studies are conducted on the convergence of 3D CAD and GIS in order to support the decision making by simulation of each phase of construction prior to the actual construction of a building. However there has been limits to the implementation of the IT technology in the planning phase due to its characteristics such as high reliability on the experts knowledge and the compliance of the administration work. In this study, a trendy issue of the convergence of the GIS technology with the 3D CAD design data is suggested to improve the efficiency of a decision support in the planning phase.

  • 본 논문에서는 협동적 제품 개발 환경에서 제품 설계 데이터와 제품 내의 객체 정보를 매칭하고 영상 기반에서 공학 데이터를 검색하기 위한 목적으로 영상 내의 객체의 각 영역을 분할 하고자 한다. 제품 설계시 생성 과정에서 CAD 툴 등으로부터 생성되는 영상은 객체 화소값의 차이가 적고 생산환경에 맞게 실시간으로 정보를 제공 할 수 있어야 한다. 위와 같은 두 가지 사항을 해결하기 위해, 전처리 과정이 없이 객체 내의 각 부분 정보를 알 수 있는 에지 기반 라벨링(Edge_Based Labeling) 기법을 제안한다.

  • We present a framework of an intelligent design system for embodiment design of machine tools which can support efficiently and systematically the machine design by utilizing design knowledge such as objects(part), know-how, public, evaluation, and procedures. The design knowledge of machining center has been accumulated through interview with design experts of machine tool companies. The processes of embodiment design of machining center are established and represented by the IDEF0 model from the field surveys. We also introduce a hybrid knowledge representation so that the system can easily deal with various and complicated design knowledge. The intelligent design system is being developed on the basis of object-oriented programming, and all parts of a design object, machining center, are also classified by the object-oriented modeling.

  • This study attempts to develop a skeleton model to link construction schedule and 3D object for drawings in 4D system. Generally, the construction schedule and 3D object can be linked in 4D system by imported files which are made in specific S/Ws such as CAD S/W and scheduling S/W. Those methods have a difficulties for operating 4D data because extra work needs to link 4D data for each activity. This study develops a 4D model which the 4D data can be self-generated within the system. The suggested model can reduce the initial input data for new project by integrating schedule and 3D object in 4D system.

  • Recent proliferation of building information modeling (BIM) has actively stimulated integrated utilization of geometric (graphic) and non-geometric (non-graphic) data. Nevertheless, physically and logically, linking and maintaining these two different types of data in an integrated manner requires enormous overhead efforts for practical implementation. In order to address this problem, this paper proposes a concept and structure of the object breakdown structure (OBS) that facilitates advanced BIM implementations in an automated and effective manner. Proposed OBS numbering system has secure rules for organizing graphic objects in full considerations of effectively integrating with non-geometric data (e.g. cost and schedule). It also removes repetitive linking process caused by design changes or modifications. The result of applying this concept to a housing project revealed that only 120 definitions controled over 6,000 graphic objects for full integration with cost and schedule functions.

Nevertheless, tremendous data including interior Design has been produced, but it has been mixed without any organized direction. This study reviews the influence of Computer in interior Design Industry related to other Industries and searches for the common directionality that exists inside that diversity On the basis of this review, this study aims to make knowledge that is the new value from the Computer media as the guideline for research and development. Update Semantic Preserving Object-Oriented View (갱신 의미 보존 객체-지향 뷰)

  • Due to the limitation of data modeling power and the view update ambiguity, relational view is limitedly used for engineering applications. On the contrary, object-oriented database view would playa vital role in defining custom interface for engineering applications because the above two limitations of the relational view are overcome by the object-oriented view. Above all, engineering application data interface should fully support updates. More specifically, updates against the data interface needs to be unambiguously defined and its semantic behavior should be equal to base schema updates'. For this purpose, we define the notion of update semantic preserving which means that view updates displays the same semantics as base schema. Besides, in order to show the feasibility of this characteristics, specific and concrete algorithms for update preserving updates are presented for a CAD specialized object-oriented database view - MultiView. This paper finds that in order that virtual classes coudld form a schema with 'isa' relationships rather than just a group of classes, the update semantics on the virtual classes should be defined such that the implied meaning of 'isa' relationships between classes are not to be violated. Besides, as its sufficiency conditions, we derived the update semantics and schema constituable conditions of the virtual classes that make view schemas look like base schemas. To my best knowledge, this is the first research that presents the sufficiency conditions by which we could defined object-oriented views as integrated schemas rather than as separate classes.
