In today's society with its emphasis on unlimited information access, control of available information about high-technology products is often vital to their success. When a product is released, consumers may initially be attracted through information about its remarkable internal and external features. They may also perceive a degree of congruence between their own personalities and the product image as more information becomes available over time. Consumers' changing impressions of the product may influence personality congruence negatively or positively. These changes and their effects on preference for high-technology products are the focus of this paper. A survey was given to a sample of 206 students at K University to investigate the degree to which consumer behavior can be influenced by personality congruence. The need for clear and definite product knowledge in this process and the effect of product information on preference were also investigated. Three analyses were conducted. The results of Analysis 1 showed the influence of personality congruence on preference for high-technology products. Judgments about personality congruence were based on non-compensatory rather than compensatory information processing. The respondents considered certain aspects of a product's personality rather than the product as a whole when making preference decisions. The results of Analysis 2 indicated that when less information was available about a product, consumers who perceived high personality congruence with the product tended to have higher preference for it compared to those who perceived low personality congruence with the product. On the other hand, when consumers were given more information, no difference was observed in the impact of personality on preference between perceived high and low personality congruence. Lastly, the results of Analysis 3 showed that when consumers with high need for closure (NFC) perceived high congruence between their own personalities and a product, objective information regarding the product was not used in decision-making: instead, judgments about the product were based on perceived personality congruence. On the other hand, high-NFC consumers who perceived low personality congruence between themselves and the product tended to require more information about the product in order to give it a positive evaluation. In contrast, low-NFC consumers who perceived high personality congruence felt comfortable with large amounts of information. For low-NFC consumers who perceived low congruence, the level of information had no influence on preference.

The bending phenomenon during extruding one product using four billets can be obtain by the difference of hole diameters in the multi-hole container. The difference of hole diameter caused the difference of billet amount inserted in the die cavity. As results, it can bend during extruding products by the different amount of two billets and by the cohesion of billets in the porthole dies cavity. And the bending curvature can be controlled by the size of holes and billets. The experiments using aluminium material had been done for the rectangular and square curved tube product. The results of the experiment show that the curved aluminum tube product can be bended by the extru-bending process without the defects such as the distortion of section and the thickness change of the wall of tube and the folding and wrinkling. The curvature of product is affected by shape of cross section and the difference of billet diameters. It is known that the welding and extruding and bending can be done simultaneously in the die cavity when a rectangular hollow curved tube would be extruded by porthole dies using four different size billets made of aluminum material.

The area covered by product liability in broadest sense is so vast that an attempt to analyse all its impact on the aviation world risk. Every effort has been made to confine our review of subject a closely as possible to its influence on aircraft manufacturers, airlines and passengers, in spite of strong connections with other spheres of commercial. Product Liability in aviation is the liability of aircraft's manufacturer, processor or non-manufacturing seller for injury to the person or property of a buyer or third party caused by a product which has been sold. Here-in a product is aircraft, third party is passengers who suffered damage by defective design, defective construction, inadequate instructions for handling in aircraft. Whenever a product turns out to be defective after it has been sold, there are under Anglo-American law three remedies available against the aircraft's manufacturer (1) liability for negligence (2) breach of warranty (3) strict liability in tort. There are Under continental law Three remedies available against the aircraft's manufacturer (1) liability for defective warranty (2) liability for non-fulfillment of obligation (3) liability in tort. It is worth pointing out here an action for breach of warranty or for defective warranty, for non-fulfillment of obligation is available only to direct purchaser on the basis of his contract with the aircraft's manufacturer, which of course weakness its range and effectiveness. An action for tort offers the advantage of being available also to third parties who have acquired the defective product at a later stage. In tort, obligations are constituted not only by contract, but also by stature and common law. In conclusion, There in no difference in principle of law. In conclusion I would like to make few suggestions regarding the product liability for aircraft's manufacturer. Firstly, current general product liability code does not specify whether government offices(e.g. FAA) inspector conducted the inspection and auditory certificate can qualify as conclusive legal evidence. These need to be clarified. Secondly, because Korea is gaining potential of becoming aircraft's manufacturer through co-manufacturing and subcontracting-manufacturing with the US and independent production, there needs legislation that can harmonize the protection of both aircraft's manufacturers and their injured parties. Since Korea is in primary stage of aviation industry, considerate policy cannot be overlooked for its protection and promotion. Thirdly, because aircraft manufacturers are risking restitution like air-carriers whose scope of restitution have widened to strict and unlimited liability, there needs importation of mandatory liability insurance and national warranty into the product liability for aircraft's manufacturers. Fourthly, there needs domestic legislation of air transportation law that clearly regulates overall legal relationship in air transportation such as carrier & aircraft manufacturer's liability, and aviation insurance.
We propose a method to analyze the user reviews and ratings of the products in the online shopping mall and automatically extracts the features of the products to determine the characteristics of a product. By judging whether a rating is given by a specific feature of a product, our method distributes the score to each feature. Conventional methods force users to wastes time reading overflowing number of reviews and ratings to decide whether to buy the product or not. Moreover, it is difficult to grasp the merits and demerits of the product, because of the way reviews and ratings are provided. It is structured in a way that it is impossible to decide which rating is given to the which characteristics of the product. Therefore, in this paper, to resolve this problem, we propose a method to automatically extract the feature of the product from the user review and distribute the score to appropriate characteristics of the product by calculating the rating of each feature from the overall rating. proposed method collects product reviews and ratings, conducts morphological analysis, and extracts features and emotional words of the products. In addition, a method for determining the polarity of a sentence in which the feature appears is given a weight value for each feature. results of the experiment and the questionnaires comparing the existing methods show the usefulness of the proposed method. We also validates the results by comparing the analysis conducted by the product review experts.

The successful operation of a product In service depends upon the effective provision of logistic support in order to achieve and maintain the required levels of performance and customer satisfaction. Logistic support encompasses the activities and facilities required to maintain a product (hardware and software) in service. Logistic support covers maintenance, manpower and personnel, training, spares, technical documentation and packaging handling, storage and transportation and support facilities.The cost of logistic support is often a major contributor to the Life Cycle Cost (LCC) of a product and increasingly customers are making purchase decisions based on lifecycle cost rather than initial purchase price alone. Logistic support considerations can therefore have a major impact on product sales by ensuring that the product can be easily maintained at a reasonable cost and that all the necessary facilities have been provided to fully support the product in the field so that it meets the required availability. Quantification of support costs allows the manufacturer to estimate the support cost elements and evaluate possible warranty costs. This reduces risk and allows support costs to be set at competitive rates.Integrated Logistic Support (ILS) is a management method by which all the logistic support services required by a customer can be brought together in a structured way and In harmony with a product. In essence the application of ILS:- causes logistic support considerations to be integrated into product design;- develops logistic support arrangements that are consistently related to the design and to each other;- provides the necessary logistic support at the beginning and during customer use at optimum cost.The method by which ILS achieves much of the above is through the application of Logistic Support Analysis (LSA). This is a series of support analysis tasks that are performed throughout the design process in order to ensure that the product can be supported efficiently In accordance with the requirements of the customer.The successful application of ILS will result in a number of customer and supplier benefits. The military standards refer to specialized government infrastructures and are too complex for commercial application. The methods and benefits of ILS, however, have potential for much wider application in commercial and civilian use. The concept of ILS is simple and depends on a structured procedure that assures that logistic aspects are fully considered throughout the design and development phases of a product, in close cooperation with the designers. The ability to effectively support the product is given equal weight to performance and is fully considered in relation to its cost.The application of ILS provides improvements in availability, maintenance support and longterm 3ogistic cost savings. Logistic costs are significant through the life of a system and can often amount to many times the initial purchase cost of the system.This study provides guidance on the minimum activities necessary to Implement effective ILS for a wide range of commercial suppliers. The guide supplements IEC60106-4, Guide on maintainability of equipment Part 4: Section Eight maintenance and maintenance support planning, which emphasizes the maintenance aspects of the support requirements and refers to other existing standards where appropriate. The use of Reliability and Maintainability studies is also mentioned in this study, as R&M is an important interface area to ILS.
It is doubtless that product aesthetics and design are very important keys determining the success and failure in today's market environment in spite of the lack of academic model and positive research results. However, surprisingly the research of such an aesthetic has not been active. Therefore the conceptual frame of product aesthetics should be examined centering around the research of product aesthetes in other to understand consumers'aesthetic requirement and desire in the research of aesthetics of product design and the design process by analyzing that how product aesthetics anon the consumers'response and product selection, what roles the aesthetic factor of product design play in product design and what aesthetic dimension of product design is related to design product should be established.

It is well known that internet shoppers are very sensitive to sale prices. They visit the various shopping malls and collect the product information including purchase conditions for goods purchase decision-making. Recently the necessity of information support is increasing because of increase of information amount which is necessary and complexity of goods purchase decision-making process. The comparison shopping agent systems have provided price comparison information which is collected from various shopping malls to satisfy internet shoppers information craving. But the frequent price change caused by keen price competition is becoming the primary reason of information quality decline among price comparison sites. RSS which is a family of web feed formats used to publish frequently updated is applied even in on-line shopping malls. This paper develops a RSS product information collection system to get real-time product information. The proposed product information system consists of (1) web crawler module for searching RSS feed shopping malls automatically, (2) RSS reader module for parsing product information from RSS feed file, (3) product DB and (4) product searching module. Performance of the proposed system is higher than the comparison shopping agent systems when it is defined with the volume of collecting product information per unit time.
Purpose: This study examined the importance and satisfaction of consumer's perception of the information delivery format of products and services required and recommended by KS A ISO / IEC Guide 13: 2003 and KS A ISO / IEC Guide 37: 2003. Methods: In this study, the importance and satisfaction of clarity, principles of information transfer, how to use expressions and technical terms, and technical terms, warning signs, and durability were investigated. Results: The t-test analysis of the importance and satisfaction of the Writing Rules of the product user guide showed that all items had statistically significant differences. The importance of the writing rules of the product user guide for the use of the product was in the order of warning signs (4.423), how to use expressions and technical terms (4.215), principles of information transfer (4.163), clarity (3.914), and finally durability (3.851). Conclusion: Among the 'explanation,' 'instruction' and 'warning' functions of the Product User Guide, the consumer uses the manual to identify the inherent dangers and misuse of the product. Besides, since the life of the product is prolonged, the Product User Guide also needs to improve the quality of the cover or paper so that it can use for a long time.

This study aims at investigating the effect of product innovation accounting on the market success of instant food and convenience food businesses in Thailand with customer response capability as the mediator. In addition, it examines the effects of management accounting systems, marketing intelligence, and technology orientation on product innovation accounting. The sample for this study is 258 instant food and convenience food businesses in Thailand. To test the research relationships, a structural equation model is used. The results of this study show that product innovation accounting has a significant effect on both customer response capability and market success. Similarly, customer response capability significantly leads to market success while it mediates the product innovation accounting-market success relationship. Testing the antecedents of the research relationships, management accounting system, marketing intelligence, and technology orientation potentially affect product innovation accounting. Accordingly, product innovation accounting is a key source of competitive advantage. Product innovation accounting must be recognized by company management as a strategic tool for competing in markets and environments. They must invest their resources and capabilities to create and develop product innovation accounting principles, as well as encouraging their staff to implement and use these principles in the workplace.
Two experiments were conducted to determine i) the fermentation characteristics of catfish by-product (C) ensiled with rice bran (RB) or sugarcane molasses (M) in different ratios, and ii) the digestibility of the silages in growing pigs. In the ensiling experiment, there were three ratios of C, ensiled with RB or M, of 8:2, 7:3 and 6:4 (wet basis for C and air-dry basis for RB and M). The six treatments were CRB8:2, CRB7:3, CRB6:4, CM8:2, CM7:3 and CM6:4, with 3 replications per treatment and seven sampling times. The pH of CRB7:3 and CRB6:4 decreased (p<0.05) from the first week and stayed stable until 8 weeks of ensiling, but the pH did not decrease in CRB8:2. The pH of CM8:2, CM7:3 and CM6:4 decreased rapidly from the first week until week 8. Dry matter (DM) and crude protein (CP) contents were slightly lower when catfish by-product was ensiled with RB than with M. Ammonia content in all treatments increased (p<0.05) during ensiling. Lactic acid content in silages with molasses increased from the first week, with the highest value at week 4. However, the lactic acid content in CRB8:2 did not increase with time and had the lowest value of all treatments. Acetic acid proportions of total volatile fatty acids were low at day 0, with the highest value at day 7, decreasing slowly until 8 weeks. The butyric acid proportion was highest at day 0 and decreased up to week 8. The proportion of propionic acid increased during ensiling. The digestibility experiment had a 4${\times}$4 Latin-square design and included 4 castrated crossbreed (Yorkshire${\times}$Landrace) male pigs fed four diets. The basal diet (BD) included rice bran, broken rice and maize meal, and the other three diets included fish meal (FMD) or catfish by-product ensiled with rice bran (CRBD) or sugarcane molasses (CMD). The silages chosen were those which gave the best results in the ensiling experiment for each additive. The coefficient of total tract apparent digestibility (CTTAD) of DM and organic matter (OM) was not significantly different among treatments. The CTTAD of CP was not different among the silage diets, but was lower in BD (p<0.01). The CTTAD of ether extract (EE) was higher in the catfish by-product silage diets than in FMD and BD. There was no significant difference in the digestibility of DM, OM, CP and EE between the fish meal and the by-product silages. In conclusion, catfish by-product can be successfully preserved by ensiling. Moreover, the total tract apparent digestibility of OM, CP and EE in ensiled catfish by-product was comparable with that of fish meal.
